Once everyone from the dead came to the living world, they all went to the church for Wendy and Levi's wedding. The vows than got initiated. Wendy started by lifting a wine glass up from the table.
Wendy: "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty; For I will be your wine."
After she said her vows, It was soon Levi's turn to do his as well while picking up the bottle of toxic wine.
Levi: "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty; For I will be your wine."
He then poured the wine into the glass cup and got ready to see Wendy become dead like him. However, Levi noticed in the distance that Katsuki was watching and soon felt guilty about everything that's happening. To prevent any more pain, Levi stopped Wendy from drinking the wine and shocked everyone.
Connie: "That's new!"
Sasha: "Did you see that!?"
Jean: "Oh my God!"
Armin: "I can't believe it!"
Eren: "Mikasa, what the hell happened!?"
Mikasa: "Levi's having second thoughts!"
Wendy was confused by all this and noticed that Levi felt like he was making a big mistake.
Levi: "Damnit; I can't."
Wendy: "Levi, what's wrong?"
Levi: "This whole thing was a mistake; I was a groom before meeting you, but my dreams were taken away from me. Now, I've stolen that love from someone else. I loved you, Wendy,...but you were never mine to begin with."
Wendy: "What do you mean?"
???????: "Wendy!"
Levi then pointed Wendy to the direction of the front doors and showed Katsuki stepping out in front of her from outside. This surprise got her completely speechless.
Wendy: "Katsuki?"
Katsuki then walked up to her calmly and Levi helped him take her hand as how they were both truly reunited at last. However, it didn't take long before someone else crashed the wedding.
?????: "Awww, isn't that just fantastic."
Petra immediately came through the doors and shocked everyone when she pretended to care.
Petra: "I always get so emotional at weddings. Both of the young lovers are finally together at last. Surely now they can both live Happily Ever After. But, you forget 1 small thing."
She then immediately grabbed Katsuki's wrist with a fit of rage.
Petra: "He's still my husband! I'm not leaving here empty-handed!"
Soon enough, Levi recognized Petra and felt shocked, but not entirely happy.
Levi: "You."
Petra then recognized Levi and felt completely speechless from the sight of him looking dead.
Petra: "Levi?"
Levi: "Long time, Petra."
Petra: "But, how? I mean, I left you."
Levi: "Yeah, you did,...but only for dead."
That news got everyone shocked and speechless. However, Petra tried to deny it even though the whole crowd heard Levi.
Petra: "This man is obviously delusional!"
The situation was getting complicated as she tried to escape, but there was no luck until she grabbed a blade and placed it near Katsuki's throat.
Petra: "Sorry to cut this short, but we must be on our way!"
Katsuki: "Get off of me, you savage witch!"
Wendy wasn't having it at all and decides to step up against Petra to save Katsuki.
Wendy: "Back off, Petra! Take your hands off Katsuki!"
Petra: "Hahaha; Do I really have to kill you too, Marvell?"
Before Petra could do anything, Carla bit her by the leg to prevent her from killing her friend and got kicked away. Quickly, Mikasa tossed Wendy a sword to help her fight back.
Mikasa: "Wendy, heads up!"
Wendy: "Thanks, Mikasa!"
With that, the battle had begun and both sides were strong in combat. With each strike Petra makes, Wendy easily dodges every one of them.
Wendy: "That the best you've got, Ral!?"
It took about 10 minutes of that fight before Wendy accidentally tripped on a cloth and fell back; Thus, giving Petra the opportunity to take her down.
Petra: "Game Over, Sky Maiden!"
Before she could go for the kill, Levi stepped in front of her and protected Wendy since he was already dead. He then took the sword out of his chest and pointed it at Petra threatening her to leave. Wendy was shocked by the save and went speechless.
Wendy: "Levi!?"
Petra: "Not bad, Darling."
Levi: "Get the hell out."
Petra: "Don't worry, I'm leaving."
Petra then started walking away until she grabbed the glass cup and raised it to make a toast.
Petra: "But first, a toast to Levi; Always the best man, but never the actual groom. Tell me, Darling, can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?"
Nobody in the church was having it and tried to go after her until someone stopped them.
Hanji: "That's it! Let me at her!"
Erwin: "Hanji, wait! We must abide by the rules of the dead! For we are amongst the living!"
Petra: "Well said."
Petra then drank the wine and started walking to the doors until she stopped for a moment and froze up. The dead people already knew what it meant. She was no longer part of the living.
Hanji: "Not anymore."
Petra's skin turned blue as she was now part of the dead. This transformation she got scared her completely and started freaking out intensely about it.
Petra: "WHAT!? MY SKIN! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME!?"
Erwin: "Well, there we go; She's all yours now."
Just then, the dead people managed to grab Petra and drag her away so that she would never be heard from again. Mikasa even took the final words before disappearing with everyone else.
Mikasa: "New arrival."
With those last few words said, everyone took Petra to the underworld and made sure that she was never heard from in the living again. It was an unexpected night to remember for many years, but it was all worth it to stop the woman who killed Levi and saves him from her wrath for good. It was definitely a wedding night that Wendy will never forget for a very long time.
