Background info for the three floof:
Yamato is the empress of the Sakura Empire in her world, she can be strict but she's mostly a nurturing kind of person. Musashi is either second empress or a princess, she still has her determined and mother-like personality so she is the rival of FDG. Shinano is still a sleepyhead but she does her duties properly, she's either a minister or a priestess
Chapter starts:
"Before you take the break, three kansens will be joining you. All of them are from the Sakura Empire, they're not from your world like the Essex sisters and Georgios." Screen says to which everybody perked up
"Did they.. serve in WW2?" Helena asks
"They did not serve in the WW2 in their worlds. I informed them of what is going to happen in their world, quite the reaction they had of the information I gave them along with some of the videos. All you girls need to do is to introduce yourselves, I would suggest the Sakura Empire go first. I'll do the briefing when I invite other girls from now on as well"
"At least we don't have to give them a briefing of what has been going on.." Mikasa says to which the shipgirls nod as the three kansens were teleported in
Not the usual teleporting from above, but they were just teleported in
Yamato and Musashi were just standing and were surprised looking around the room, Shinano was half asleep and half awake
For a good 30 seconds, there was silence
"Hello everyone... I'm Yamato. First of my battleship class"
"I'm Musashi, second of the Yamato class"
"I'm Shinano, third of the Yamato clas... *yawn* but I was converted to an aircraft carrier.." Shinano says in a sleepy tone
(New sleeping buddy?) Laffey thought
Nagato then comes up
"I'm Nagato, leader of the Sakura Empire" She says to the Yamato and Musashi's surprise
(Nagato? The smol cute child is the leader of our nation?) The Kitsune's thought
"I-is something wrong?" Nagato asks
"No.. it's nothing" Yamato says as she headpats Nagato to which she enjoys
The shipgirls then began to introduce themselves, the Yamato sisters were shown to the Sakura Empire room. The break goes as planned, 20 minutes. The kansens mostly chatted with the new guests, after the break they sat down ready to watch for more
"What we are about to watch is another film. This story takes place before WW2, I hope you're all ready" Screen says as the shipgirls nod
The movie begins to play
Some static is heard and a voice, it seems to be radio transmission
"Target confirmed... Battleship Yamato.. all aircraft in attack formation..." The voice says as some static is heard
The shipgirls immediately began to tense, mostly the Yamato sisters
Some text is seen
'APRIL 7, 1945, OPERATION TEN-GO'
"Commence bombing run, okay boys this is it! Bombs away!" A pilot says as we see hundreds of Eagle Union planes
We then see Yamato sailing as the ship fires all the guns to her port side. Many small explosions are seen in the sky as the torpedo bombers drop the torpedoes. Two torpedoes eventually hit the port side of Yamato
"Right! Turn right!" An anti-air man yells as we see an anti-air gun with some men on it
"Fire! Fire!" The anti-air gun director (the Japanese wizards holding the sticks that are apparently supposed to guide the guns) yells as we see another anti-aircraft gun with more men nearby
More explosions fill the sky with more planes coming. The dive bombers approach, we see a few of them releasing their bombs. Two bombs hit the port side of the battleship. More torpedo bombers release their load with two more torpedoes hitting Yamato's starboard side
The battleships look in horror
"Sister.." Musashi says
"The anti-air gunners get soaked with water but they continue firing their guns. We see some blood and dead bodies nearby but they're not that noticeable
"Fire! Fire!" The gun director yells as the anti-air gun continues firing. One of the men turns the anti-aircraft to the left a little
"Hit 'em!" The gun director yells as some Ammo Bearers reload the gun however one Eagle Union plane is coming
"Hey! Move fast!" One of the gunners yell as the Ammo Bearer who is reloading the gun is panicking
"Hurry up!" Another one yells but it is too late
The plane begins to shoot as it hits the ship including a few men. Back to the aircraft gunners, two of them who covered in blood scream out in horror as we see a dead body nearby. The head is blown out of the torso with the left hand stuck on the turning wheel.
The guardians immediately cover the eyes of the children so that they won't see anything. Some look away, others try not to vomit at the sight. Everybody else was just silent
We see more aircraft guns in the Yamato
"Fire!" A gun director yells.
"Got one!" A gunner yells as the men cheer while the plane is going down with its pilot ejecting before it could crash
The pilot lands in the water but the cheering immediately stops as we see a seaplane come by. The pilot immediately gets in the seaplane then it manages to flee without getting shot at, the gunners could only look in shock
"Poor them.. the pilot was rescued but they can't leave the ship... my ship.." Yamato says
More dive bombers approach as they drop their bombs. Yamato gets hit more in her port side while the men who are on the deck, some trying to get the wounded to safety were nearly sent flying.
The Yamato turns starboard as more explosions erupt on her deck, but something was wrong.. she was beginning to turn over. She begins turning over to her port side as some of the men try to hang on to her deck. We then see her starboard side with a few holes in her hull. The men are still trying to hang on but they fall slowly, some of the wires begin to break as she begins to turn upside down with the men swimming away or get crushed.
The shipgirls were watching in silence and horror, what a way to start a film and reaction. Ayanami hugged Musashi out of nowhere, but she returned the hug, Z46 hugged FDG as well
As Yamato slowly sinks upside down, an massive explosion erupts causing big amounts of thick smoke and fire to go from the fallen battleship
The Yamato sisters all hug each other with some kansens comforting the others
The screen turns black as text appears
'More than 3000 crew members died in the battle, 12 years ago:'
The text fades as numerous photos and a speaker is heard
"The year 1933, the Sakura Empire was rocked by turbulent times. Struggling to rebuild after a world-wide financial panic as a result of the Great Depression. In 1932, the Sakura Empire had set up a puppet state in Manchuria. Its advance into Dragon Empery met resistance from Eagle Union and Europe. The Sakura Empire withdrew from Azur Lane that year and faced growing international isolation" The speaker states
"So this story takes place before WW2.." Rodney says
"It would seem so... and why would the Sakura Empire leave Azur Lane, not to mention be isolated.." Mutsu says with a frown
The title shows
'The Great War of Archimedes'
"Interesting title.." Vittorio Veneto says
"Indeed.. Archimedes is a famous person in my world being that he was a mathematician, physicist, engineer, astronomer, and inventor from Sicily" Georgios Averof says to which the Sardegna Empire girls perk up
The scene changes to a triple deck aircraft carrier escorted by some destroyers. Text appears
'Navy First Air Force/First Carrier Division, Aircraft Carrier Akagi'
The kansens were shocked as Akagi blushed a little out of embarrassment while Kaga patted her sister's back
"That's what your ship looked like back then Akagi senpai?" Shoukaku asks trying not to laugh as Akagi nods
"It looks so.. weird and wrong. No offense Akagi" Enterprise says
"I understand the reaction.. me and my sister were triple-decked aircraft carriers back then... I think we were the only ones." Akagi says
"Having triple-decks allowed us to launch more planes, and if one deck was not working then there was always another deck. But one day that changed when our reconstruction came which are the current looks of our ships" Kaga states
(We definitely need a modernization..) Akagi and Kaga thought
Scene changes to the bridge as we see a dozen officers with text appearing in front of a particular Admiral
'Commander-in-Chief of The Combined Fleet, Yamamoto Isoroku'
"Oh, it's that Admiral from the Midway film" Hammann says, some shipgirls were confused since they haven't seen it but they kept watching
"Oh my, he must've been my commander back then~" Akagi says to which Kaga sighs. She still has some of that yandere in her
"Get ready to take off!" An officer yells as a lower ranking officer repeating
"Launch!" The same officer yells
"Launch!" The lower ranking officer says as we see a plane taking off from Akagi's deck
"That's great! It's taking off!" Another officer yells as the men begin to cheer
Another plane leaves the deck as the men were amazed at the sight
"Great!" A random officer yells while one of them looks through binoculars
A third plane launches from Akagi with the men cheering some more
"Excellent" A lieutenant-commander says as the men begin to laugh
"Sir! All aircraft successfully launched. The Imperial Navy rules the sea and sky!" Another lieutenant-commander says proudly
"A fine feeling!" A lieutenant-commander says as the men continue to laugh
"A fine feeling indeed.. it felt amazing when I launched my planes the first time into the clear blue sky" Akagi says, every other carrier agreed with Akagi
"Plans are underway for a large new battleship. Our navy grows stronger and stronger!" A commander yells proudly to which most of the men nod
"Forget battleships" Yamamoto says
"Sir?" The commander asks as Yamamoto turns around. The men make way for the Admiral
"We're coming to a time when we'll need every carrier we can get. Great big battleships will be useless in the wars of the future" Yamamoto says as he leaves the bridge
"He's not wrong" Intrepid says
Some battleships like Jean Bart scoff
"I think battleships can still be useful if modified properly to whichever time, but if it can't catch up then better to not use it anymore" Musashi says
Scene changes, Akagi is seen docked in a port where the sun is setting, then the scene goes inside the ship
A door knock is heard
"Enter" Yamamoto says
"Yes, sir" ??? says as he opens the door carrying a wooden box with his cap on top
Text appears in front of him
'Rear Admiral Yoshio Fujioka, Shipwright'
Fujioka enters but stops in his tracks with a surprised look in his face. We see Yamamoto doing an inversion/upside down exercise/yoga
The shipgirls blinked in surprise
"Woah" Cleveland says
Yamamoto then stops doing the exercise/yoga
"Oh Fujioka, is it finished?" Yamamoto asks
"I'm anxious for you to see it" Fujioka says as he puts the box on the table nearby
He takes his cap off and closes the door while Yamamoto sits down. Fujioka then removes the cover and the box reveals a model of a potential aircraft carrier design. The design was mostly like a Soryu-class carrier but with some differences, the model has Akagi/Kaga's funnel and the carrier has 3 secondary guns on the deck near the carrier island
"I would say that's an okay design, the funnel could use some reworking. Nothing too fancy, but it could definitely be better" Formidable says
"I do not agree with the guns near the bridge but it is an okay design overall, just as long as it can cause destruction" Graf Zeppelin says
"And just as long it can take hits, launch planes with no problems, have a trained crew, and many more as well..." Shinano says
"This looks great. Lots of anti-aircraft guns" Yamamoto says as he begins to look around the model
"I'm confident this is the new type of carrier you wanted Admiral Yamamoto" Fujioka says doing a small bow
"I'm glad the Ship Design department has someone who understands. Since we left Azur Lane, the army's running out of control. If we're not careful, we'll end up at war with Eagle Union and the Royal Navy" Yamamoto says as he sits back down
"Look how that turned out..." Zuikaku says as the shipgirls nod
"What do you mean?" Fujioka asks
"It's a worst-case scenario. But if it happens, I want the budget in place for what we'll need." Yamamoto says
"The Committee is very conservative. It's not that easy to change their minds" Fujioka says
"Especially.." Yamamoto says
"Yes. Shimada, of the General Staff" Fujioka says
"Ah.. Shimada huh? When you run up against him..." Yamamoto says as the scene immediately cuts
"He must be a really difficult mind to change" Phoenix says
Scene changes goes to a building as text appears
'Ministry of Navy'
Scene goes inside the building where Yamamoto and Fujioka are seen walking with another Admiral in a staircase
"Yes, I've heard" ??? says
"I hope you'll help us" Fujioka says
"Leave it to me, leave it to me" ??? says as his name is revealed
'Vice Admiral Nagano Osami'
"I won't let Shimada have his way" Nagano says
"We're about to see some politics aren't we" Bismarck says
The scene changes again to a meeting with text appearing. Nagano, Yamamoto, and Fujioka are sitting in one side while other officers are seated in the other side
'The First Day of New Ship Review Conference'
"First we will discuss the replacement of the old battleship Kongo" The minister says
"What's all this talk about an aircraft carrier, Fujioka?" ??? says
"Well, uh.." Fujioka tries to say but Yamamoto looks at him to stop
"As I have said, carriers will be vital in any war from now on" Yamamoto says
"How true that statement has become over the years.." Queen Elizabeth says
"You and your aircraft carriers!" ??? yells as his name is revealed
'Rear Admiral Shimada Shigetaro'
"There's no proof an aircraft attack will have any effect at all" Shimada says
"Then just test it at an old ship or target practice.." Victorious says
Then the Minister's name is revealed
'Minister of the Navy, Osumi Mineo'
"Replace the Kongo with a carrier?" Osumi asks with doubt
"Perfectly balanced as all things should be in my point of view" Bunker Hill says
"Minister... think about the wars to come. The answer is obvious. Carriers make the most sense." Nagano says
"What are you talking about? What we need most is a magnificent new battleship to symbolize our navy! Graceful and beautiful, an enormous battleship! This is what the Combined Fleet really needs" Shimada says
"I was made for that purpose.." Yamato says
"Shimada called you graceful and beautiful as well~ A fitting description if you ask me" Musashi says in a teasing tone as Yamato blushes
"Graceful and beautiful? That's of no use in a war" Yamamoto says
"You see? Even an Admiral agrees with me, elegance does not belong in war" Warspite says
Hood frowns, she always says that elegance is important whether you're in a battle or outside a battle. Bismarck pats Hood's back
"In the future, naval strategy will depend on carriers." Yamamoto says
"Nonsense! Battles are fought with artillery. Even a child knows that. That has been Imperial Navy tradition ever since the war with the Northern Parliament in 1905!" Shimada yells as he slams his hand on the table
The shipgirls blinked again
"Is he still proud about that.." Mikasa says
"As if you haven't moved on from it" Avrora says as Mikasa turns red
"Oh please! I have moved on from it, that was decades ago anyway. You haven't moved on from it either since you haven't still caught up with the current times" Mikasa says back
The grannies continue to bicker for a good 1 minute until Georgios finally stopped them
"Battleships are a thing of the past" Yamamoto says
The battleships shuddered at that
"Not yet we aren't!" Dunkerque yells
"Are you saying they're useless?" Shimada asks
"Yes. We don't a new battleship" Yamamoto says
"What did you say?!" Shimada asks again while standing up from his seat
"Shimada, if we're going to spend all that money.. it should go to carriers and carrier aircraft" Yamamoto says
"For an Admiral in the 1930s, I'm surprised that his thinking was really modern for his time" Shangri-La says
"Only cowards attack by air! Not the Imperial Navy! A navy aspires a battle between fleets!" Shimada yells as he walks towards Nagano and Yamamoto
"I agree with the fleets part, but the battleships are what need to change" Ark Royal says
"You can send out all the flimsy aircraft you want. They'll all just get shot down" Shimada says
"They'll get shot down if the anti-air guns are good enough, there are a big number of escort ships, fighter patrol to defend the ships, and a few more things" Tirpitz says
"Lone ships much less battleships cannot defend themselves without fighters to defend them" Formidable says
"You are so outdated. Aircrafts are evolving quickly. Within five years, the way we fight wars will have changed. And if you want a gun battle, the old ships will do just as well" Yamamoto says
Everybody looks at Mikasa
"Okay, my ship may be considered old at this time but I don't think I would survive against those flying things. Much less the battleships of this generation, like heavens you girls are so much powerful than me" Mikasa says
"What?! A navy man ridiculing battleships? You should be ashamed of yourself!" Shimada yells
"I agree with him wholeheartedly" Jean Bart says as Richelieu sighs at her sister
"That's why... you've irritated me ever since we were at the Academy" Shimada says
"Wait up! What are you talking about? The feeling is mutual" Yamamoto says while standing up from his seat
"May I interrupt?" ??? says from the other side of the table
"At least he broke the argument before it really began" Columbia says
"Yes, Admiral Hiryama?" Osumi asks as text appears
'Vice Admiral, Hirayama Tadamichi'
"I also have an idea for a new vessel" Hirayama says as he claps signaling his assistants to enter
The men enter the room, two of them bring in a huge table with wheels that has the model of battleship Yamato. Everybody was stunned and surprised at the sight
Everybody was shocked at the huge model as they looked towards the Yamato sisters who were smiling with pride.
"That's how big we are, including with our riggings" Yamato says
"How big?" Ayanami asks curiously
"Since we know all of you including your riggings.. let's just say they're bigger than most in this room" Musashi says, the kansens could only imagine what their rigging looks like
Minister Osumi and Admiral Shimada walk towards the model in awe while completely ignoring the aircraft carrier presented. They go towards the model
"This..! This is it! This is what we've been waiting for" Osumi says
"Indeed! A truly fine ship!" Shimada says
"Beautiful! A fitting flagship for our combined fleet. Perfect for battle" Osumi says
"Not against aircraft.." Akagi says, being a flagship herself
"She's designed to show the world the dignity of the Imperial Sakura Navy" Hirayama says
"Splendid!" Osumi says
"I'm very honored that you like it" Hirayama says while bowing his head
Nagano, Yamamoto, and Fujioka are getting concerned with the battleship
Shimada goes toward the bow of the model
"Minister, look at it from this angle" Shimada says as Osumi takes a look
"What a wonderful shape! This curve is truly beautiful" Osumi says as he strokes the hull of the model
Hammann was getting suspicious as Yamato turns red in embarassment
"Oh my.. are they talking about the ship or my actual sister over here~?" Musashi says as Yamato turns red even more
"I-I'm not that beautiful.." Yamato says as everybody has a 'sure' look
"Could we stop playing with toys?" Nagano asks
"How rude! We're giving this our most serious assessment" Shimada says
"Assessment? Who cares about the design. We're building a warship not a passenger liner" Nagano says
Yamato and Musashi lower their heads
"Why the reaction?" Saint Louis asks
"They call my older sisters... 'The Floating Hotels'.. Shinano says
"Why?" Unicorn asks
Shinano sends a look to her sisters, they nod to her signaling that she could explain
"The kansens from my world consider them as hotels than warships... because they rarely go to combat. And based on how big their ships are.. they could carry a lot of people" Shinano says as everyone did not ask further
"For wars to come, we should take Fujioka's design" Yamamoto says
"Every sailor would want to serve on a magnificent battleship like this" Shimada says
"You're dreaming!" Nagano yells as he continues criticizes the battleship
Everybody remembers the beginning scene to which they deeply frown at
"If only they knew the horrors that would come with serving on my ship in the end.. a suicide mission against hundreds of aircraft" Yamato says
The speakers voice is heard
"The decision was put off for two weeks" The speaker states
Scene changes to a Geiko/Geisha district. It is evening in the district, we see Yamamoto with Fujioka and Nagano having dinner
"Shimada and Hirayama.. I can't believe they sprang that on us like that" Nagano says as Yamamoto drinks something then Nagano groans
"So what do we do now? The way things are going, the new ship will be Hirayama's" Nagano says
"I want to avoid that at all costs" Yamamoto says
"Of course! We can't let them steal this away from us." Nagano says as he suddenly slams his hand on the table which startles Fujioka
"What do we do, Fujioka?" Nagano asks
"For me, the design we introduced today is the best option" Fujioka says
"Hmph, clearly that's not enough" Admiral Hipper says
"Designing a ship much less creating a better option than a battleship like that is going to be quite the challenge" Graf Zeppelin says as she looks at Yamato
(Maybe you could be useful for my plans..) The Iron Blood carrier thought
"Do you understand what's going on here? The Minister loved Hirayama's battleship. Just saying ours is best won't help" Nagano says
"But..." Fujioka tries to say but he can't think of anything, he lowers his head
"All right. Let's think about it later, and refresh our minds now." Nagano says as he claps
"Ma'am! Ma'am!" Nagano yells
"Coming!" A woman yells as she opens the sliding door (Shoji)
"You called?" The Missus asks
"Yes. We've decided to forget the world and drink. Bring us some beauties" Nagano says
"I knew it! They're perverts!" Hammann yells
"Uh, well..." The Missus says as she enters the room
"What's wrong?" Nagano asks
"I'm sorry, but all the geishas are working in the big room" The Missus says
"What?" Nagano asks as we hear exclaims coming from the big room
Scene changes to that room
There are more than 5 geishas in the room, then we see a young man among them
"Okay! Next is bust size" ??? says as three geishas exclaim and laugh
"Oh my.." Taihou says as she giggles
"Hey Sakura Empire! I know you have many perverts in your nation but keep them at bay would you!" Hammann yells as Yorktown chops her head
"Sorry for her shouting.." Yorktown says
"We don't mind, it's true anyways..." Takao says as she looks towards Atago who pouts
"Who should I start with?" ??? says as he prepares to take measurements
"You're paying all this money just to take our measurements? Are you buying us kimonos?" A geisha behind him asks
"I like to measure. I can't relax until I've measured every beautiful thing I see" The young man says in kind of flirty tone as the girls exclaim again
"He has a way with words.." Littorio says
"Every beautiful thing~? Ara~" Prinz Eugen says
"As if he would measure someone like you" Admiral Hipper says
"And as if he would measure someone flat chested like you" Prinz Eugen says back, Blucher manages to hold Hipper back
(That's just cold at this point) Everyone thought
"Excuse me" The young man says as he takes the measurements of a geisha's bust
"Oh dear!" Another geisha says as she laughs
All of sudden, the shoji to the room was opened. We see Yamamoto and Fujioka
"Oh no.." Illustrious says
The two Admirals enter into the room
"Sorry to interrupt the fun, but you're hogging all the geishas. Could we take some?" Yamamoto asks

"Why? I'm not in the navy, and... I hate the miliary" He says as he goes to another group of geishas nearby

"Okay" The Geisha replies as she raises her arm to the measuring tape's level. She then throws the fan and it lands on the small box perfectly
The Geisha's become astonished, the shipgirls become astonished as well

Scene goes back to Admiral Nagano who is smoking. Yamamoto and Fujioka go back to their room

"But he's an interesting fellow. Math at Tokyo University... math.. calculations... numbers?" Yamamoto says as the three Admirals sit back down
"Yamamoto, what are you thinking of?" Nagano asks
"The estimates were shown today. The budget for Fujioka's proposal is 93 million yen. Hirayama's is 89 million yen." Yamamoto says as he hands Nagano the estimates
The speakers voice is heard
"In today's money in 2019, that would be 170 and 160 billion yen"
The shipgirls are surprised at the cost of Yamato while shocked at the mention of how much the money is in the possible future
"89 million yen for such a huge battleship? That just doesn't make sense at all in any way." Kaga says, being once a battleship herself

The rest are just too shocked to say anything about the billions that were mentioned

"Hirayama's is a battleship of much greater displacement. It will need very powerful weapons. It can't be built for that little" Yamamoto says which makes Nagano wonder
"Did they lie about the costs? If that's the case then.. so uncivilized" Hood says
"If the battleship does cost more than that, then they would have to cover up it and make sure its cheap enough that the minister will accept it" Queen Elizabeth says
"Perhaps he's putting out a set of false figures" Yamamoto says
"I thought the same thing" Fujioka says
"What if we were to... do a re-estimate of Hirayama's proposal" Yamamoto says
"A re-estimate?" Nagano asks as tense music begins to play in the background
"Yes. We show that Hirayama's figures are nonsense.. and discredit him. If the cost estimate is sketchy, the blueprints will be no better. Putting forward a sloppy proposal like that... is an outrageous action that insults the Committee. This is a betrayal of our nation, and treason against the Emperor!" Yamamoto states in a serious tone
The shipgirls were tense
The tense music suddenly slowly dies
"At least if we put it that way... the Minister will have to turn him down" Yamamoto says, it was very tense but all of sudden it became hilarious in the end. The two Admirals clap while laughing at Yamamoto's brilliance
The shipgirls all laughed and chuckled in the end
"That was amusing.." August Von Parseval says while chuckling a little
"I agree.. who knew Yamamoto had some humor" Yamato says while chuckling, she tried her best not to laugh but she failed
"That would be fun. Just what we always wanted, haha! Do that Fujioka" Nagano says
"Me?" Fujioka asks
"You're a shipwright. Redoing his estimate should be easy" Nagano says
"With all due respect... cost estimates for a battleship are not that easy to do. I'd need blueprints, figures for the armaments... a schedule of how many workers and days it would take to build, and-" Fujioka tries to say but Nagano stops him
"Jeez, just say ya can't do it old man!" Jean Bart yells
"Enough. You can't do it, is what you're saying?" Nagano asks
"Not just me! In all of Japan, there is nobody who could produce that estimate in only two weeks!" Fujioka yells as the scene changes
"Can't they just hire the kid from earlier? He seems good enough" Hornet asks
"Hornet-sama, don't forget that the young man does not like the military. It would be hard to change that kind of thinking" Belfast says as Hornet sighs
