some things can
never be saved,
some words can never be braved,
but what happens after you?
When I'm nothing
but an empty vessel,
set adrift on stormy seas,
watching the moon
for a sign that you're still
feeling me,
but there's nothing there,
and I'm hiding from tomorrow
because all I can see
before me
is a future filled with
infinite sorrow.
