It had been over 10 days now, you were sat with Giyu drinking some tea.
"So Y/n, I never was able to ask, how did it go?" He said.
"It went alright, only 5 of us survived... I feel a somewhat pity for those who didn't make it" you said. Giyu nodded in agreement. Eventually there was a knock at the door and Giyu stood up to go and answer. You just carried on drinking your tea, savoring every sip. A man with a crazy looking mask stepped inside. He sat down soon revealing a sword for you. You bowed and took the sword.
"For you. Now show us!! I want to see the color" The man said. You gulped and drew your katana. Slowly it started to turn into a bright blue color. You looked at it fascinated. The man cheered.
"MAGNIFICENT! JUST LIKE THIS MANS SWORD." He said. You looked at Giyu, he was proud and smiled at you. You smiled back and then put your Katana back in its sheath. Eventually the masked man left and you sat there with Giyu.
"Giyu.." You said. He hummed in response.
"What does blue mean?" You asked.
"It stands for Wisdom and Truth" He replied.
You looked at your sword again. Blue huh? It was beautiful, and sharp as hell too. Well all you needed now was to put your uniforms they gave you on and you would be set.
"Giyu.." You said, putting your new haori on. He hummed in response.
"Do you think... I will be able to, leave?" You said. Giyu's eyes widened a bit.
"Well, if that's what you want Y/n... I have nothing against it... after all, my job training you is done" He said. You walked up to him and hugged him, he hugged you back and soon tears started to form in the corners of your eyes.
"Thank you for everything Giyu" You said.
"Your welcome Y/n, be the best demon slayer you can be"
Now here you were saying your last goodbye to the man who raised you right. You were independent, you had to fend for yourself now.
"Remember to visit Y/n" Giyu said.
"Of course I will silly" You laughed.
You hugged him one last time and then made your way into the distance, now you wanted to go find somewhere to train, of course you had to wait for your Kasugai crow to give you a mission soon.

You were far of from where Giyu was last time, now you were walking down a long path but soon you saw a familiar red headed boy standing there with a box on his back. You squinted your eyes a little and soon realized who it was, it was the same guy from the final selection. You walked up closer and closer.
"Oi you!" You said. He turned around confused.
"Your the guy from the final selection, correct?" You asked. He nodded.
"I remember you too, the way you took down those demons was crazy, what's your name?" He asked.
"Y/n, and you?"
"Tanjiro Kamado" He said putting his hand out. You shook and gave a slight smile to him. Now you and Tanjiro were walking down this long path talking about each others past.
"So what made you want to become a demon slayer?" He asked.
"My parents were killed by one, revenge I guess" You replied.
"What a coincidence! Me too! But not so much on the revenge part, and my whole family was murdered but it sure is similar to your story" He said scratching the back of his head. Your eyes widened, someone you could relate to.
"Where you saved by a man with a-" You said
"Blue katana and ponytail" You both said at the same time. You both laughed.
Time went by and soon you came to a new encounter. Another kid from the final selection! This time it was the yellow haired boy. He was kneeling before a girl and begging her for something. You and Tanjiro looked at each other confused.
"PLEASE" He screamed. "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MARRY ME."
"YOU KNOW, I COULD DIE ANY TIME SOON SO PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME DIE ALONE!!" He shouted.
"What is he doing... what on earth" Tanjiro said.
"No clue.." You replied.
A little sparrow flew down and started chirping, it was telling you two what was going on, this must have been the yellow haired boy's Kasugai crow... well... sparrow I guess?
"Oh... so that's it then.. okay, we'll try to help" Tanjiro said. You both nodded at each other and walked up to that boy.
"COME ON, IM BEGGING YOU! THERE IS NO ONE ELSE YOUR THE ONLY HOPE I HAVE LEFT! PLEASE I'M ASKING YOU AGAIN, MARRY MEEEE" The yellow haired boy whined.
"Why are you making such a scene in the middle of the road? She's clearly not interested in you!" Tanjiro said.
"Also your stressing your sparrow out!" You said.
"W-wait, that uniforms, aren't you two from the final selection?!" He said.
"Don't go pretending like we know each other! Because we don't!!! Okay!!" Tanjiro shouted back at him.
"HUH?! BUT WE HAVE MET DON'T GET ANGRY AT ME WHEN YOUR THE ONE WITH THE TERRIBLE MEMORY!!" He said.
"Well your all set to go home.. do you need help with anything else?" You asked to the girl.
"No, thank you very much" She said bowing down to both you and Tanjiro.
"HEY DONT YOU INTERFERE! THIS GIRL IS MADLY IN LOVE WITH ME AND THE TWO OF US ARE GONNA GET MARRIED" The yellow haired boy shouted again.
"WHEN DID I SAY ANYTHING THAT IS EVEN RESEBMBLING THAT I LOVED YOU, ALL I DID WAS TALK TO YOU WHEN YOU WERE CRUMPLED UP ALL DISHEAVED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD" The girl said.
"HUH? SO YOUR TELLING ME YOU DIDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE YOU WERE MADLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH ME" He said confused.
"Considering I already have a fiancé, that's exactly what I have been trying to tell you!?!" She said.
"You seem perfectly fine now so, GOODBYE" She said walking off.
"W-WAIT COME BACK.. pLEASE" The yellow haired boy said.
"Would you give it a rest already?" You and Tanjiro said.
"W-why did you have to get in my way!! This had nothing to do with you!?!" The boy said.
Tanjiro just looked at him like.
"W-WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT" He said. You snickered
"S-STOP IT!! YOUR LOOKING AT ME LIKE IM SOME PITIFUL CREATURE OR SOMETHING!?!?! NOW LISTEN HERE YOU! I JUST LOST MY CHANCE TO GET MARRIED AND IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" He screamed.
His face then changed:
"SAY SOMETHING WOULD YOU?!?!?" The yellow haired boy shouted.
"Look! During my next job! I'LL PROBABLY DIE! The reason is... I'm just a weakling! SO PLEASE, PROTECT ME UNTIL I CAN GET MARRIED YOU TWO!!"
"Listen us "two" have names" You said.
"My name is Tanjiro Kamado?! That's Y/n, and you are?" Tanjiro said.
"Tanjrio, Y/n?! That's good to know!! I'm Zenitsu Agamatsu, please you gotta do what you can to save meee" Zenitsu whined.
"Aren't you being a bit dramatic? Why did you even become a swordsman?" Tanjiro asked.
"You're acting pathetic" You added.
"That's a harsh way to put it?!" Zenitsu said. Soon Zenitsu was ranting on and on about how he wished to die but somehow survived the Final Selection. You just gave him the side eye (side eye...Side eye)
"H-hey are you okay?" Tanjiro asked after Zenitsu finished screaming.
"Look, I get it your terrified of demons, but please, try not to worry your sparrow!" He said. You nodded to that statement with an "mhm".
"Huh? Your saying it was distressed? How could you tell?" Zenitsu asked.
"Lets see, it said you always don't want to go to work, you snore loudly" Tanjiro said.
"It said you were always hitting on girls too" You said.
"Chiip!!" Said the sparrow in agreement.
"Wait?! You understand bird language?!" Zenitsu said.
"Yeah" You both said.
"NO WAY?!? You have to be lying to me" He said.
Soon a Kasugai crow came above you all and started screaming "CA CAW RUN TANJIRO, RUN Y/N, RUN ZENITSU, ALL OF YOU MUST HEAD TO YOUR NEXT DESTINATION! RUN ! RUN!
"AFIUAHIUFAHIUFHSE THAT CROW IS TALKING TO US!!!" Zenitsu screamed.
"Come on let's get going" Tanjiro said.
"WHAT HOW CAN YOU TWO BE SO CALM RIGHT NOW!!?"
