3rd person, Virgil's POV
The next day, Virgil was more than ready for date night. He wanted to help make the picnic for the date but Roman refused to let him, saying what sort of Prince would he be if he let his date make the food. Virgil had rolled his eyes at that. He wasn't some princess, he wanted to help with the date but nope he wasn't allowed. So instead Virgil spent another day in his room, thinking about the date. At 2, he got ready even though Roman wasn't collecting him until 4 but anxiety made him get ready hours in advance so that he did. He put on a Panic at the disco top with ripped black jeans. He put on a black beanie and his purple doc Martens. He of course had his chest binder and signature patchwork jacket on. He sat back down on his bed and played on his phone until 4.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Virgil answers the door to see Roman wearing a white turtleneck with blue jeans. He was wearing a red fluffy jacket and red boots. He had a white picnic basket in his right arm. He held out his left arm to Virgil "shall we set off, beloved?" Virgil smiles, also laughing slightly before saying "we shall. But I'm not linking arms like we are in a movie" he sets off walking, Roman following after him.
They walk into the imagination and past all the houses that belong to characters from thomas’s videos, like Dr Picani and Sleep, and walked gay into the field just across from the woodland area. Roman places the basket on the floor and pulls a blanket out. The blanket was purple and red with crowns and storm clouds all over it, it had been a birthday present from Virgil. He made it himself. Anyway, Roman sat down and started taking out the food as Virgil sat next to him. He had all of Virgil’s favourite foods. Pork pies (since Virgil couldn’t have bread), angel cakes, gluten free chocolate cake slices, white chocolate and a bunch of other sugar free or gluten free foods. "Did you make this all by yourself?" Virgil asked before smiling widely when Roman nods "this is why I love you…. I- I mean ummm'' Roman chuckles "I know what you mean. I love you too, beloved, now eat up". Virgil and Roman slowly started eating, chatting to each other about random things when suddenly
ROAR!
ROAR!
Virgil’s eyes widened "was that…." Roman stands up ripping his sword out "the dragon witch! Don't fear Virgil, I'll protect you!" Virgil stands up. "I don't need protecting, Princy but thanks" Roman didn't have time to respond to Virgil because a dragon-sized shadow covered the land around them.
ROAR!
"I shall defeat you, you monster!"
