Sam, Corinna, Dean, Katherine and Jessica are at the site of Melford's death, examining the ashes.
"Rowena really isn't messing around." Corinna Says
"Mhm." Katherine Says
"Well, so much for James Melford." Dean Says
"And Martin. His reaper. His name was Martin." Jessica Says, as Sam's phone rings.
"Here we go. Rowena." Sam Says
"I don't suppose there's any way you'll simply leave me to my business before something unfortunate happens?" Rowena Says
"Oh, you're starting off with a threat. Nice." Sam Says
"I would never. But this doesn't involve you boys." Rowena Says
"You're killing people. It involves us." Dean Says
"Mm, if you'd let me explain..." Rowena Says
"You think this is something you can just explain away? I trusted you." Sam Says
"I know that, Sam. I'd just rather not talk about this over the phone. I'll text you an address. Meet me there in half an hour." Rowena Says
"And then what?" Corinna Asks
"You believe me or you don't. Either way the drinks are on me." Rowena Says, then she hangs up.
"I don't like it. I mean, what's the over/under this is a trap?" Dean Says
"Well, it's Rowena. Of course it's a trap." Sam Says
Inside Rowena's hotel room she's gathering ingredients.
"Once we're face to face, I'll convince them to stop or we'll stop them. Are you ready, Bernard?" Rowena Says, as she puts several hex bags in her purse.

HEAVEN
NAOMI'S OFFICE
Inside Naomi's office in Heaven, she and Castiel are having a conversation.
"How are you alive?" Castiel Asks
"A drill in the head wasn't going to kill me. You should know that." Naomi Says
"You know, I have to admit I was...I was relieved to hear you were dead." Castiel Says
"We never did see eye to eye." Naomi Says
"No, no we didn't, because you stole my memories, and you threatened to "tear me apart," and you made me repeatedly act out Dean Winchester's murder, and you killed many, many people." Castiel Says
"Those were simpler times." Naomi Says
"I'm sorry" goes a long way." Castiel Says
"Mm-hmm. After Metatron attacked, I had a few reliable angels spread the word that I was dead." Naomi Says
"So you've been hiding?" Castiel Says
"Recovering." Naomi Says
"All this time?" Castiel Says
"Well, forgive me for taking a few years to put my thoughts back in my skull. There's still a few holes-pardon the phrasing-but I'm mostly here. I have to be." The lights fluctuate. "Do you know what powers Heaven, Castiel?" Naomi Says
"Yeah, us. Angels." Castiel Says
"That's right. We're all...Every angel is like a walking, talking battery." The lights fluctuate again "And that is what happens when we run out of power." Naomi Says
"I don't understand." Castiel Says
"Well, then, let me make it divinely simple for you. There are a grand total of nine angels in Heaven, present company included, and one or two on Earth, and... that's all. We are the last men and women and divine waves of light still standing, as it were." Naomi Says
"No, that's, uh...that's not, um...I knew our numbers were small..." Castiel Says
"You wanna know why we can't help you? Because none of us can leave. We're the only things keeping the lights on." The lights dim again "Barely. We need everyone, especially an archangel. Now the others thought any archangel would do, Long story. But your news about Gabriel is...for lack of a better word, blessed. With his power we can keep heaven running." Naomi Says
"And without him?" Castiel Says
"Without him, in time we'll burn out. Heaven will crumble, and all the souls that have been entrusted to our care will fall back to earth. Picture it, Castiel-billions upon billions of ghosts unleashed upon the world. All that chaos, all that death." Naomi Says
HOTEL BAR
At the hotel bar Rowena and Bernard enter, Sam, Dean, Corinna and Katherine are seated at a table.
"Heads up." Dean Says
"Ladies, Gentlemen." She looks over at Katherine.
"Is that the doppelgänger I see, nice to see you again darling, it's been to long." Rowena Says
"Likewise." Katherine Says, as she takes a sip of her drink.
"Oh every time I look at that face,..it just reminds me of sweet Eleanor..gone too soon." Rowena Says
"Elena's not dead Rowena." Corinna Says
"Oops my mistake." Rowena Says, smiling.
Dean gesturing towards Bernard, waiting for Rowena at the bar.
"All right, what's with the goon?" Dean Asks
"Just a precaution. We're all wary, aren't we? Surely you've got your witch killing bullets handy?" Rowena Says
"Rowena, this isn't why I helped you. were you just playing the whole time?" Sam Says
"Of course not. But once I unlocked my power, I couldn't just hide away. I realized I can right some wrongs that are long overdue." Rowena Says
"By killing innocents?" Dean Says
"Innocents?! These drug company people, they lied about their product for money--money they used to avoid the law. They've hurt thousands of sick people, which makes them far worse than most of the monsters you've killed. I'm striking a blow for justice." Rowena Says
"Yeah, then why are you killing reapers?" Corinna Asks
"Well...they're just a means to an end. It's not easy to get Death's attention." Rowena Says
"Well, trust me, that's not the kind of attention you want." Dean Says
"Oh, but it is. Death has something I want." Rowena Says
"What's that?" Sam Says
"My son. After you told me he was gone, how he died, I had an unexpected reaction. We had our differences, but it's my fault he went down the path he did. I left him." Rowena Says
"We're talking about Crowley--demon, King of Hell?" Katherine Says
"We're talking about Fergus dear, a man abandoned and loveless, tricked by a demon, died in a gutter. He deserved better from the world. From me." Rowena Says
"Well, Crowley's dead. There's no coming back from that." Dean Says
"Oh, is that so, Dean? Are only Winchesters allowed to come back from the dead? The rest of us just have to accept it? I don't think so. I'm putting death on notice." Rowena Says
"All right. Well, she's taken notice." Sam Says
"She? Interesting." Rowena Says
"And she's upset. But you can quit this before-" Corinna Says
"I'm not afraid and as much as I enjoy our little talks, you can't stop me." Rowena Says
"Actually, we can." Sam Says
"And what makes you think that?" Rowena Says
"Because every version of your death, your real, permanent death, Sam's the one who kills you." Dean Says, as Rowena looks over to Sam.
"I see." Rowena Says
"Yeah, but it's not gonna happen tonight." Sam Says
As Sam leans towards Rowena with the warded handcuffs she disappears in a pall of purple haze.
"What's going on?" Dean Says
"I hope you don't mind astral projection? Safety first, boys." Rowena Says
Rowena and Bernard escape down a hotel corridor, Sam chases after her.
"Rowena! Hey Rowena! Hey!" Sam Says
Dean, also giving chase, runs into Bernard's forearm and a furious fight ensues between the two of them.
Corinna and Katherine see's the fight happening before them.
"You go help Sam, I'll help him." Katherine Says
"Okay." Corinna Says, running the other way.
Bernard punches Dean in the face and throws him down, he sees Katherine who waved at him.
"Need some help?" Katherine Says
"Ya think." He gets back to his feet and his face is bleeding, turns to Bernard. "You know she's controlling your brain." Dean Says
"She's powerful, she's gorgeous, and she's paying me a small fortune. That woman didn't have to cast a spell on me." Bernard Says, taking off his tie.
"Saying that aloud just makes you more pathetic." Katherine Says
"Don't care." Bernard Says
Dean looks at Katherine and they both go on opposite sides of Bernard, and they both attacks him and the fight resumes. The elevator doors opens up, a couple sees Katherine and Dean fighting Bernard.
"You might wanna head to the next floor." Katherine Says
Bernard punches her in the face, then Dean jumps on his back and he tosses him to the ground as the elevator door closes. Meanwhile Rowena runs out to the alley, followed by Sam, and he aims a gun at her.
"Rowena, stop! Stay right there. Listen to me. I get what you're trying to do for Crowley, but you're messing with the machinery of the universe. Death won't give you what you want. You have to stop." Sam Says
"I can't stop, Samuel. You'll have to shoot me." Rowena Says
Rowena turns to face him and Sam, conflicted, eventually shoots. She stops the bullet in mid-air with her hand, eyes glowing purple and the bullet falls to the ground.
"H-h-how?" Sam Says
"You really would have shot me?, Somnia." Rowena Says
Rowena chants the spell as Sam's vision gets blurry then he falls to the ground, unconscious. The door opens and Corinna see's Rowena disappear.
"Sam!" She runs over to Sam, she kneels down to him. "Sam..hey hey wake up!" Corinna Says
Rowena shows up again and looks on as Corinna tries waving up Sam, she whispered a spell to her.
"Somnia." Rowena Says
Corinna's eyes twitch and her vision gets blurry, she falls down to the ground unconscious as well. Back upstairs Bernard, Katherine and Dean continue to slug it out. Katherine takes a glass jar and smashes it against his head, but it doesn't affect him.
"What the-" Katherine Says
Katherine punches Bernard in the face several times, then Bernard elbows her in the face knocking her down. He goes to hit her but Dean cuts him off, Bernard then pushes Dean up against the wall, as
Jessica is present.
"You're both doing really well, but you need to hurry." Jessica Says
"A little help would be nice!" Dean Says, as Bernard continues to choke him.
"Can't...Clean hands." Jessica Says
Dean headbutts Bernard then sends him down, he gets on top and repeatedly punches Bernard in the face. But the big man gets the best of Dean, and starts strangling him. Katherine gets up, and comes up from behind Bernard, and snaps his neck killing him.
"You're welcome." Katherine Says
"Thanks." Dean Says
"No problem." She helps Dean up, they both look down at Bernard. "It was either that, or stabbing him in the neck." Katherine Says, as Jessica slowly claps.
"Wow I'm impressed, he was a highly trained military operative. It's impressive that you could..." Jessica Says
"Sam!, Corinna!" Dean Says
Dean and Katherine races off to find Sam, they see both Corinna and Sam's gun on the ground in the alley, but not them and Jessica appears.
"Where are they?" Katherine Asks
"Where the hell is my brother?!" Dean Asks
HOTEL ROOM
Inside Rowena's hotel room, Sam is awake but immobilised in a chair, as well as Corinna.
"Don't struggle. It'll only make things worse." Rowena Says
"Rowena, you gotta listen to me. This power's going to your head, okay? It's making you go crazy." Sam Says
"No, it's given me clarity." Rowena Says
"Clarity of what, of how insane your becoming." Corinna Says
"No. It's shown me that everything I did before for wealth, for magic, for myself, meant nothing. And it took everything from me, everyone I loved-my family, Oskar, my son. I'm a flawed, petty, evil creature, Corinna and Samuel. And I don't know if I can be redeemed, but I have to try. And I do wish there was another way." Rowena Says
"You...wh... what are you saying?" Sam Asks
"Well, you said it yourself. There's only one way to stop me-you. But if you're dead, well...then, I can't be stopped, can I? Death will have to grant me an audience." Rowena Says, then rips open Sam's shirt.
"Oh, no, you--you--you don't know that!" Sam Says
"True, but there's only one way to find out." Rowena Says, as she cuts her hand.
Corinna and Sam continues to struggle at their ties, then looks back over to Rowena.
"What are you doing? What is that?" Corinna Asks, as Rowena pours liquid onto her palm.
"You don't wanna know." Rowena Says
"Rowena, don't do this. You don't have to do this." Sam Says
"What haven't you done for your family? What wouldn't you do? I'm sorry, Sam." Rowena Says, as she thrusts her hand onto his tattoo and he screams in pain.
"Ah!" Sam screams
"Sam!" Corinna Says
Suddenly Death appears behind them, Corinna and Rowena looks over at Billy.
"Hello, Rowena." Billy Says
"You? I know you." Rowena Says
"We met when I was a reaper." Billy Says
"We totally did. If we'd just exchanged numbers, none of this would have been necessary." Rowena Says
"Sam, Sam are you okay?" Corinna Asks, as Sam breathes in and out.
"Yeah..I'm fine, you?" Sam Says
"I'm okay." Corinna Says
"You're upsetting the natural order. That's... unwise." Billie Says
"Bring back my son, and it all stops. Say no, and I'll-" Rowena Says
"No." Billy Says
"Then I'll kill Sam Winchester, That'll really frog up your natural order, won't it?" Rowena Says
"Go ahead." Billy Says
Sam struggles and grunts, clearly disapproving of this course of events.
"What?" Rowena Says
"I don't think it's a good thing. And I don't believe any of us will like what comes next, but I don't do blackmail so...go ahead." Billy Says
Rowena, knife in hand, turns to a frightened and struggling Sam.
"Don't, Rowena please." Corinna Says
"No go on, I'm curious to see what happens." Billy Says
"No. No, no, no no no. No. Rowena..I know what you went through and I know how much you lost and I realize how much you want your family back. But don't do this. This...this...This is not you. Not any more." Sam Says
"What happened to me, those were my choices. But Fergus never...It wasn't fair." She turns towards death and screams "It's not fair!" Rowena Says
Rowena then blasts Death with purple light, causing Sam and Corinna to fall out of their chairs freeing them. Rowena's powers which has no effect on Billy, she falls to her knees.
"You were never going to kill him. There was a time you would've, but not now." She kneels in front of Rowena and raises her head tenderly. "I can see that." Billy Says, as Rowena starts sobbing.
"I don't know what I'm doing." Rowena Says
"Sometimes life is unfair, and sometimes we lose things. And sometimes we make mistakes. And some of these things can never be fixed, no matter how powerful you become. Some things just are, and everyone has to live with that." Billy Says
"And now you'll take me?" Rowena Says
"No, you already know how your story ends." Billy Says, as she looks over at Sam.
Then Dean and Katherine comes rushing through the door, bloody and bruised.
"Sam, Corinna." Dean Says
"Dean!" Sam Says
"Hey, Dean. See you again soon." Billy Says, then she disappears.
HEAVEN
At the Heaven portal playground, Naomi and Castiel are outside the gate.
"If you find Gabriel, tell him what's happening in Heaven." Gabriel Says
"And if I can't find him?" Castiel Asks
"We'll do our duty...keep things running." Naomi Says
"For how long?" Castiel Asks
"Ah, that's the scary part." Naomi Says
"We will find a way to fix this. We will." Castiel Says
"This may be one of those things that can't be fixed, Castiel." Naomi Says
"This is Heaven we are talking about." Castiel Says
"Everything ends, Castiel." Naomi Says
"Everything ends." Castiel Says
"But until then, the gates of Heaven are closed." Naomi Says
Naomi returns to Heaven, leaving Cas alone and forlorn in the playground.

HOTEL ROOM
Inside Rowena's hotel room. Sam, Dean, Corinna, Katherine and Rowena are all sitting on the floor, drinking.
"How you guys feelin?" Sam Asks
"Like I got punched in the face. A lot." Dean Says
"I think Bernard broke my nose." She snaps it back in place, and groans. "Much better." Katherine Says
"Huh." Sam Says
"Yes, about that...Bernard's very enthusiastic." Rowena Says
"Yeah, that's one word for it." Dean Says
"And what about you? How are you feeling?" Corinna Asks
"I fought Death and lost. I feel tired. Weaker. I don't know if it's forever." She looks at Sam "Sam, what have I done?" Rowena Says
"You had a chance to kill me and you didn't. I'd call that progress." Sam Says
"I'd call that a miracle." Dean Says, as he and Rowena exchange looks.
"You know, what happened with Crowley? That wasn't your fault." Sam Says
"He never had a chance." Rowena Says
"He made his choices, just like we all do. Look, every one of us has done something that we have to live with, that were trying to make up for, Every one of us." Dean Says, as he looks over at Katherine.
"Even without all that extra juice, you're still the deadliest witch around." Corinna Says
"Flatterer." Rowena Says
"Yeah, well, we, um...we may need your help. To save our family. To... hell, to save the world." Sam Says
"Again." Katherine Says, as Rowena chuckles.
"You wanna be redeemed? This would be a pretty big step." Dean Says
"And do you think I still can be?" Rowena Asks
"Yeah, I do." Dean Says
"So do I, I mean look at me..a few years ago I was trying to kill these guys, now here I am stuck with them." Katherine Says
"We all think you can be better Rowena, sometimes people change." Corinna Says
"Well.." Rowena Says
"But before you answer, you gotta know something. Um... Lucifer is back." Sam Says
"Mm. Of course he is." Rowena Says
"Now you're not gonna..." Dean Says
"Break down? Crack apart in terror? Of course I'm horrified and scared. My heart may have stopped but... Lucifer isn't the one who's going to kill me, is he?" Rowena Says
"You changed other people's fates. Maybe we can change yours?" Sam Says
"So what do you say? You in?" Dean Asks, as they all look over at Rowena.
