in the story, karl is 18 years old, but ik he's older irl. i know his birth year isn't right either but this is FICTION. he also has a sister named jess, and she is fictional as well!! so let's just pretend here. all other characters are original characters that belong to me.

fun fact: the cabin in the story is actually based off of a real place my cousins and i used to go to every year. even some of the childhood memories throughout were based off of true events with my cousins. writing this brought back so many great memories, so i tried to incorporate some of them in here :)
