so it will still go as planned to them reacting to JS Atago class and HMS Queen Elizabeth class carriers, but thanks to the list I have found the daughters of Admiral Hipper, and Graf Spee. They will not react to them but simply know some stuff about them, and the screen will also reference the daughters of KMS Gneisenau, KMS Scharnhorst, IJN Chokai, IJN Maya, and many more but I will not show vids on them.)

"Well in today's episode we will discuss about the JS Atago class destroyers from the Sakura Empire. The Atago class are large Sakura Empire destroyers equipped with the Aegis Combat System and strong anti-air warfare capability" The speaker said as a photo of what the ship looks like is shown
"Destroyer? That lowly animal's ship sounds like a damn cruiser!" Deutschland says as Graf Spee does the apologizing
"It weirdly looks like a combination of both" Montpelier says
"It kind of looks like my ship as well~" Atago says
"The Atago class is a modified version of the Kongo class destroyers, the Kongo class is a Sakura Empire version of the Eagle Union Arleigh Burgh class. In terms of size and displacement, the Atago class ships are nearly as large as the Ticonderoga class cruisers. Some improvements were made to reduce the radar cross-section of these ships. Two Atago class ships were ordered in 2000, and these vessels were commissioned with Sakura Empire's Maritime Self-Defense Force or SEMSDF during 2007-2008, they were replacements for the previous Tachikaze class anti-air warfare destroyers" The speaker says as many text appear

"The class features large accommodation and the ships are capable of flexible operation. One of the most obvious changes over the years is an additional hangar to carry one SH-60K. In comparison to the Kongo class or Arleigh Burke class Flight 1 which only had helicopter platforms but no support equipment, the Atago class has better helicopter handling facilities. To enhance their faction as command centers, the bridge is two decks higher than aboard an Arleigh Burke class Flight 2-A making their full load displacement over 10,000 tons which is the first time for a Sakura Empire surface combat vessel"

The Atago class also uses a new stealthier plain structure mast rather than a familiar lattice-type mast. A new modified smokestack and other improvements were also introduced to make Atago stealthier"

"The Atago class warships with their sophisticated long range air defense capability provide air coverage for the fleet. There is a 96-cell Mark 41 Vertical Launch System with 64 cells in the bow area and 32 cells in the stern area. These cells are filled with Standard Missiles, Anti-Submarine missiles, and Anti-ship missiles."
"So if I'm understanding this right.. those small boxes on the bow and stern of the ship... contain.. different types of missiles inside of them and can launch when activated?" Edinburgh asks

"The anti-ship capability is provided by Type 90 (SSM-1B) anti-ship missiles. These anti-ship missiles have a range of 150km and carry a 225 kg warhead. In concept, these are similar to the Eagle Union Harpoon, though it looks like these Sakura Empire missiles are more advanced the Harpoons. The Sakura Empire actually replaces Harpoon missiles on its ships by the indigenous Type 90, so the Atago class can carry up to 8 of these missiles on two quadruple launchers."
"So if I'm assuming right, destroyers in the future use missiles more than torpedoes. I'm not saying their bad since missiles can fly and I think can do more than torpedoes" Javelin says

"Moreover the Atago class has a 127 mm dual purpose gun in a stealth shaped mount. It is a license produced version of the Eagle Union Mark 45 gun. Though the gun is the same as on the previous Kongo class, it's barrel has extended from 54 calibers to 62 calibers. Now the gun can handle strengthened powder charges and has a maximum range of 38 km. This gun can engage hostile ships, air targets, and bombard land targets."
"I'm starting to notice how Atago's alter daughter's ship has better technology than the previous class and some Eagle Union ships." Enterprise says
"And to think destroyer guns can actually be better in the future" Denver says as the destroyers look at her

"While the last-ditch defense against incoming anti-ship missiles is provided by two 20 mm Phalanx Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS). One of them is located in the forward area of the ship while another one is in the stern area. For anti-submarine warfare, there are 2 triple-tube torpedo launchers for Mk.46 Mod.5 Neartip or Sakura Empire Type 73 torpedoes."
"Torpedoes are really better in the future..especially since they can be used for anti-submarine warfare.... we destroyers can't even do that at all..." Laffey says
"These warships are operated by a crew of 300 sailors, including the aircrew, and can function as fleet command centers. Well, before talking about another system, let's show on what she looks like" The speaker states as another picture is shown.

At low speeds propulsion is provided by electric motors while for normal and high-speed operations, gas turbines are used. In short, the presence of this destroyer class in Sakura Empire's fleet will afford more flexibility and capability to counter regional threats and continue to enhance stability in the region. This class is considered to be the most versatile warship in the staff of the SEMSDF as well as the Asia-Pacific region at the present time"
Atago had a proud smile on her face
"The more this documentary goes the more the Atago class destroyers sound like cruisers" Hornet says

"Some more facts before this documentary ends, JS Atago is the big sister of JS Ashigara. Atago was laid down on April 5 of 2004, launched on August 24, 2005, and then commissioned on March 15 of 2007. Ashigara was commissioned a year after Atago. JS Atago like her mother is a good swordsman and a good big sister figure for everyone, the only difference being she gives lucky charms while her mother gives hugs. JS Atago can hug as well but her mother's hugs are superior."
"I can.. see the similarities in terms of personality" Takao says, hoping her alter niece is at least better when it comes to 'hugging' unlike her mother

"JS Atago and Ashigara also have cousins, their cousins being the children of IJN Chokai and IJN Maya. IJN Takao sadly doesn't have any children but she was a good aunt"
"Ohhh~ Our alter little sisters have children too Takao" Atago says while placing her arm around her sister's shoulder
Takao was just silent, but she was a little happy knowing her alter was a good aunt.
"Lastly, Atago is currently a senior advisor for Kaga, the Empress and a nuclear powered supercarrier of the Sakura Empire. For those who don't know supercarriers are the largest and more advanced carriers than normal carriers and nuclear power simply comes from atoms. Anyway JS Atago has a 15 years service record with many more years of her appreciated service to come" The speaker states as the documentary ends
"I don't know how JS Atago is a destroyer and how nuclear power comes from atoms but I'm not even going to complain" Zuikaku says
"And supercarriers are more larger and more advanced than 'normal' carriers, very interesting" Yorktown says

"Okay everybody, before we react to the Queen Elizabeth class carriers next, let me share somethings. After some research, I discovered that the Cleveland sisters, Pennsylvania sisters, Ark Royal, Illustrious, Sheffield,and Edinburgh all have children"

"Sure, first of all. You and Denver's child are Amphibious transport docks. I guess those are like aircraft carriers since they carry aircraft but they pretty much transport troops as their main function"
"Oh, that's.. new for a warship, but are they still in service?" Denver says
"No, they're actually retired. Cleveland's daughter was sent into service in 1966 while Denver's in 1968. Cleveland was decommissioned in 2011 making her service record 45 years while Denver in 2014 making her service record 46 years. Here's what their ships look like"

"Now moving on, Columbia, Montpelier, Arizona, and Pennsylvania's children are actually submarines. Don't ask me why but that's just how it is. Columbia was commissioned in 1995, Montpelier in 1993, Pennsylvania in 1989, Arizona is actually still being built. They're all in service except for Arizona, she got laid down but I expect her to be commissioned either soon or a few years"

"I guess our alter children got promoted to submarines. I wonder how that works, a battleship or cruiser's child is a submarine but that's how things are I guess" Pennsylvania says
"Let's move on to the Royal Navy ships, Illustrious, Belfast, Ark Royal and Sheffield. Illustrious and Ark Royal's children are still aircraft carriers while Belfast and Sheffield's children are destroyers."
"Again with the children of cruisers being destroyers, what's up with that?" Hornet says
"Let's start with the child of Illustrious, unlike her mother but like her auntie Unicorn she is a light aircraft carrier, and her crew affectionately called her 'Lusty'. She was commissioned in 1982 and decommissioned in 2014 making her service record 32 years, here's her ship"
"Well her ship does look like a light carrier, but what's with the ramp?" Junyou asks
"It's probably for the aircraft to launch easier when they take of" Enterprise replies
"Why does her crew call her lusty? What does it mean?" Unicorn asks
"Lusty means that she's healthy and strong, which is good for her" Prince of Wales replies as Unicorn nods
"Do we need to know anymore things about her?" Hood asks
"Yes, of course she looks like her mother, and unfortunately.. she was scrapped between 2016 to 2017. She was able to live peacefully for a while at least. The Royal Navy tried to preserve her because of her appreciated service but to no avail at the end."
"How.. sad" Queen Elizabeth said
"But... at least she served well"Formidable says sad her alter sister's daughter was scrapped
"That is true, but we have to move on. First thing to know, Ark Royal has both a child, and a grandchild" The screen states
"Eh? EHH?" Ark Royal screams in surprise
"Just like Enty huh" Yorktown says, Enterprise is used to it at this point
"It seems alter Ark Royal-sama got busy" Belfast says
"Let's continue, Ark Royal's daughter is like her mother, a fleet carrier but she is not a lolicon."
"HEY! I am no lolicon!" Ark Royal yells in protest
"Any proof?" Formidable asks
"No.. but as protector of all destroyers! They make me happy because of their cuteness. That's why I love them so much" Ark Royal replies trying to convince them
(Yeah.. no. We're not buying that) The Royal Navy ships, destroyers, and some other shipgirls thought
"Sorry Ark Royal but when it comes to destroyers, you tend to act weird with them. I don't know why but you act that way." King George V says
"W-WAIT, how about we make a deal. Starting from now on Enterprise, Belfast, and other kansens can watch over me while I am with my precious destroyers. If I do something weird then I'm not allowed to go near them anymore!" Ark Royal says
The shipgirls and destroyers discuss somethings while Ark Royal waits, the shipgirls return after a few minutes
"As much as I don't want to say this.. you are allowed to be with the destroyers, BUT IF YOU DO ANYTHING WEIRD, we won't hesitate to restrict you." Bismarck states as the destroyers get nervous
"THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE" Ark Royal yells excitedly as she went towards sleeping Laffey and hugged her trying to not wake her up
"Can I continue now?"
"Yes you can, sorry for the wait" Akagi says
"It's fine, anyway Ark Royal's alter daughter is the Royal Navy's first carrier to have an angled flight deck, you saw that type of deck earlier when you girls reacted to Enterprise CVN 65 and 80, and JS Kaga earlier. Here's what her ship looks like by the way."
"Ark Royal was commissioned on 1955 and decommissioned on 1979 making her 24 years old, but then she was scrapped in 1980. Like Illustrious they tried to preserve her, they even tried to make her into a museum ship but that was a failure as well."
Silence filled the room as the screen kept on sharing
"Now for Ark Royal's granddaughter, she was a light carrier and former flagship of the Royal Navy. She was even half siblings with HMS Illustrious"
"Wait... the daughter of Illustrious and Ark Royal are half siblings? Must be the same class, it's still weird to imagine.." Hood says
"Yeah, I wonder if they got along.." Illustrious says
"She was affectionately known as the 'Mighty Ark', her ship was slightly larger and her ramp was steeper. She was commissioned in 1985 and decommissioned in 2011 making her 26 years old, but like Illustrious and her mother, she too was scrapped. The Royal Navy considered many options, scrapping her or selling her to another nation. Other options included turning her into a hotel, casino, floating landing dock, hospital ship or a museum ship. The Royal Navy also considered scuttling her but in the end she was scrapped in 2013" The screen states finishing the history of alter Ark Royal's family
A lot of silence filled the room, Ark Royal's granddaughter must've been through a lot
"Among all the options they considered.. they went with my granddaughter going to be scrapped..." Ark Royal said with an angry tone which surprises everyone as Ark Royal looks at them and sighs in a sorry way
"S-sorry everyone" she says
"It's fine, I had the same reaction as well.. you may continue screen" Illustrious says
"Next is Edinburgh's child, she is a destroyer if you recall and she is known as 'Fortress of the Sea'. She is the largest of her destroyer class and like her mother, she is the last of her class to serve in the Royal Navy. Sheffield's daughter is her cousin" The screen states as a picture of the destroyer class is shown
"It seems your alter daughter takes after you being the youngest sister" Belfast says
"Y-yeah"
"She was commissioned in 1985 and was decommissioned in 2013 making her 28 years old. When she was decommissioned, a campaign was launched to turn her into a museum ship, but unfortunately this was unsuccessful and was dismantled in 2015"
"A common theme I'm sensing here is that whenever Royal Navy ships are decommissioned.. they consider options but all failed and these ships were scrapped in the end..." Tirpitz says
"Do you girls want a break or want to keep going with one more ship from the Royal Navy then the break? This will be very short if you're wondering."
"W-we can keep going" Columbia says
"Lastly, there's Sheffield's daughter. She was commissioned in 1975. She actually took place in a war called the Falklands war which we might react to in the future. Unfortunately she was struck and heavily damaged by a anti-ship missile and sunk on May 10 of 1982"
Silence filled the room as the screen said that their break starts now
Sheffield was actually a little angry about her alter niece's fate, but to learn the fate of her own daughter in alter world just made her angry more but she didn't show it
"A-are you okay sister?" Edinburgh asks as Sheffield looks at her
"No.. I'm not"
During the break, Belfast, Edinburgh, and Sheffield all comforted each other

"I feel bad for the Royal Navy.." FDG says with pity
"Yes.. the future is... quite disturbing, and the fact that wars may still continue decades from now.." Enterprise says fearing for the future
"Well whatever bad things happened in alter worlds.. I hope we can somehow prevent them happening from ours" Shoukaku says with everyone agreeing
The break goes on as they continue talking, it ends 10 minutes later
"You girls okay?"
"Yes we are now okay.. we needed that" Illustrious says
"Okay, glad I offered that. Any questions before we react to more future warships?"
"Does our nation have any successors in alter worlds screen?" FDG asks
"Yes I was actually going to say that, there's four from what I know. There's Hipper, Graf Spee, Gneisenau, and Scharnhorst."

"HUHHH!?!" Hipper asks going into her Tsundere mode while blushing
"Ara~ it seems my chopping board of a sister managed to have a child~" Prinz Eugen teases
"S-SHUT YOU!" Hipper yells
With Graf Spee however, let's just say she was blushing while trying to calm her sister down from destroying the screen. Deutschland is currently in her protective sister mode.
"C-can you please continue now?" Graf Spee asks
"Of course, as I was saying. The four of them have children in alter worlds, but the thing is, they're not battleships or cruisers. They're actually destroyers or frigates used for escorts, as time went on all of them were eventually training ships until they were scrapped. They never had any successors sadly."
(I know they used to be Royal Navy ships as well but I'm not mentioning that, and I'm using some of their british history for this chapter)
Silence filled the room
"How the hell.. is my niece a destroyer" Deutschland says as she is slowly calming down
"How long did they serve?" Z23 asks
"Each served for more than 20 years until all of them retired then scrapped. They were all close friends if you're wondering, they all served Iron Blood well." The screen states
"Hmph, at least my alter daughter served well" Hipper said calming down as well
"I have to wonder~ how many niece looks like. If you can, please show us screen?" Prinz Eugen asks
"Sure thing" The screen says as it shows what Hipper looks like

"THAT'S IT!" Hipper yells as she tries to jump at Eugen but was caught by her 'mother'
"Please my child, no fighting" FDG says
"Eugen started it!"
"I know, but she's only messing with you my child" FDG tries to reason
"...fine, I'll calm down" Hipper says while sighing out loud
"Good, now Eugen. If you can, please have a limit on your teasing"
"I'll try~ anything for you 'mother'" Prinz Eugen says
(She.. listens to her? And not her own OLDER sister?!) Admiral Hipper thought
Mikasa during this whole thing had a lot of mind breaking
"Now anyways, let's take a break first before we react to the last two future warships. Before you guys go I feel like I need to say this now or never, destroyers basically took the role of cruisers, cruisers took the role of battleships, frigates took the role of destroyers, submarines are submarines and carriers are still carriers, but unfortunately battleships are not created anymore as the ones who still live are just museum ships."
During the break, there was a lot more talking and teasing. Mikasa had a lot of thinking on how old she is, and the Royal Navy ships were preparing themselves for the final documentary vids
Welp, I'll see you all in part 3, this was originally supposed to be the end but I had more ideas. After part 3 will be the epilogue (there will be a surprise in the epilogue) and voting for naval battles and wars for them to react to, before the naval battles/wars reactions you guys can request if you want some other shipgirls to be added as well. Just check the "More characters in the future?" chapter for a recall, if you want different shipgirls then just request.
For wars, I mostly watch oversimplified, etc. Request as long as the vids are not too long.
