"your name isn't Suguru is it? it's... Kenjaku right?" the voice smiled. she took a long look at the man before her, absorbing his defined physical features. Such a shame the original soul that once inhabited that body no longer ceased to exist.
"you're quite right, how did you know Izanami?" Kenjaku hummed in delight.
"I have eyes and ears everywhere, regardless if i'm not physically present," she giggled as she traced the crevices on her body.
what was once the body of the young Gojo sorcerer was now the body of a curse. wings stretched from the crown of her head. her nails, sharper than the most refined blade a craftsman could ever hone. her body was littered with slits, exposed like bad wounds, but showed no sign of bleeding or tearing.
"why did you bother to seal me? I'm sure you knew that such an object couldn't prevent even a god from escaping..." she clicked her tongue, unamused by the obvious. "you want something from me."
"indeed, that is correct. as you already know, Sukuna is the King of Curses, and those meddling sorcerers who are affiliated with your host are quite the hassle. I'd like you to get him to work with me, if not force him. as for those sorcerers, kill them. I feel as if this would be a win win situation, no?"
Izanami hummed at the statement with a smile. Kenjaku assumed the god before him agreed to his offer.
but he was dead wrong.
"who are you to order me around?" her soft smile fell instantly, transforming into a wicked grin.
as if gravity was being controlled, Kenjaku could feel the weight on his shoulders increase ten-fold. he fell to his knees, palms planted on the ground. the room echoed with his gasps and struggle for air, reaching no 1 but the woman who was putting him through this pain.
'what the?!-'
"you have one hell of a nerve. to think that you, a mere insect, could control a God to do your bidding? you're wrong~"
Izanami grabbed Kenjaku by the head and flung him into the wall, destroying a few layers as he flew across the area.
"you're all the same. you're all just like my so called husband. even to poor little [Y/n]. you all want us for something, only to discard us once we satisfy your agenda. no, I won't get Sukuna to join your side. your plan can go to hell, and so will you."
before Kenjaku could cast a technique, the hand that he held out at Izanami was immediately sliced off and disintegrating.
with just the clench of her fist, Kenjaku, who resided in Suguru's body was simply crushed into a small orb of cursed energy. his cries disappeared the moment they arrived. gone and without a trace.
"disgusting," rather swallowing the curse energy, Izanami destroyed it completely. she had ridded the sorcerer world of its main enemy.
"now that he's gone, Sukuna can do whatever he wants. as for I," the god smiled. "i'll shred those sorcerers limb by limb. their fears will continue to feed onto my very existence."
Izanami slowly walked down the alleyway, her hands tracing the cracks of the damaged walls.
she hummed to her self.
"I think I'll go for that boy, the one you're so infatuated about, [Y/n]. I will admit, he's rather a cute one."

"Fushiguro, Ino, I want you both to stick with me, don't leave my side," Nanami shouted as they fought against the curses that roamed the station.
"Got it!"
Nanami had sliced the curses as Megumi summoned his shikigami's to his aid while Ino faced them head on in hand to hand combat.
too busy to notice, they failed to realize that the ground below them was crumbling
CRACK
the ground finally gave, collapsing and bringing down the sorcerers with its broken remains.
"NUE!"
in one swift movement, the bird like shikigami caught the 3 sorcerers and landed nearby to observe the damage.
"that couldn't have been us... right? we did land some harsh blows but not enough to destroy the whole structure here," Ino observed the damaged.
"... somethings here," Nanami glared down at the debri and smoke that began to rise from the pit.
soon enough the dust and smoke lightened, revealing a tall figure.
"hello boys, looking for me?"
Megumi immediately recognized the figure. it was the curse form that he saw at the Exchange Event, but it looked much different than before.
this wasn't [Y/n] that he was seeing. it was someone else.
"Megumi~ you and I need to have a little chat."
"that's not happening," Nanami sent a slice at Izanami, only for her to flash to another spot.
"sloppy tricks like those have no affect on me. I'm only here for one thing, so I suggest you stop wasting your time," the god sent a hoard of unrecognizable creatures from below at the sorcerers.
this caused the structures around them to continue crumbling, separating the trio to fend for themselves.
"Fushiguro! whatever you do-"
Izanami appeared before Megumi, carrying a wicked smile as she picked him up by the collar. the ravenette was too stunned to speak.
"don't trust a thing she says!"

that was the last thing Megumi heard from Nanami before he was sent to a very different location. it was just him and god that sat on a large cement pillar that laid on its side.
"you've surely grown Megumi~ the last time I got a good look at you was when you were just a kid. you were so fragile and soft that night, I couldn't help but wonder what you'd look like if your air circulation was completely blocked with her hands around your throat," she giggled.
"stop playing games. who are you? where's [Y/n]?
"she's right in front of you! honestly, don't you recognize this form? I'm disappointed. for someone she really cares about, you can't seem to even recognize her."
"give her back!" Megumi summoned his divine dog.
the moment the shikigami landed on its feet, it was blown away by a single wave of the curse's hand.
"would you stop spawning your little mutts? they are interesting, but not enough to appease my entertainment. let's play a game of hide and seek, shall we?"

Megumi was drained, dodging attack after attack from Izanami. buildings continued to collapse and debris flew everywhere.
he felt his eyes and legs giving out on him.
"Megumi~ you better not give up now. [Y/n] still wants to play!" the god cackled as she sent another attack towards Megumi.
He evaded it again, jumping down into a tunnel that was still intact despite the amount of chaos that ensued in the area.
By now his ears were ringing and he was losing too much blood to keep up with his adrenaline. the curse was still out there and could show any minute.
"dammit... I'm sorry [Y/n]," he winced as he ventured further into the tunnel.
the only thing Megumi could hear now was his heavy steps and his labored breathing. except, that wasn't the only the thing he could hear.
something was echoing in the tunnel. he couldn't tell if it was the god, someone trapped in the tunnel, or his own mind playing games with him.
it continued to echo.
'closer'

Megumi followed the voice, trusting nothing but that voice to help him.
he felt so weak, incredibly weak. despite what [Y/n] said to him, he wanted to save her even if it meant his death. he wasn't going to stay powerless like he did back then. he wasn't going to let her go again. he'd bring her back like he should. back home, back with the others, back in his arms.
'right here'
Megumi immediately stopped and turned his head to the right. in the corner laid a small object. upon further inspection it was 1 of Sukuna's fingers.
"how did I?..." he was bewildered. there was no way he could of found the finger at a time like this, let alone without a pager.
he studied it closely, nothing out of the ordinary. but how exactly did it come to this?
"Megumi~"
his eyes widened.
"I know you're in here~ come out~" Izanami giggled as each step she took echoed in the tunnel.
Megumi looked back and forth at the finger and the sound of the curse.
there was no escaping the inevitable.

.
Sukuna, though very much further away from the ravanette, couldn't help but grin from cheek to cheek at the sudden sensation.
everyone was in for a treat.
