GAS VS GRANOLAH
THE BATTLE OF THE STRONGEST
Macki: Spill the beans, Geezer! Where'd Caulifla go?!
Monaito: H-heck if I know!
Macki: Playing dumb, are we? Maybe Oil can convince you to wise up!
At the moment Oil attempted to grab Monaito, Granolah stepped in the way
Macki: GRANOLAH!? HOW ARE YOU STILL STANDING?!
Granolah: The old man's off-limits.
Granolah blasts away Macki and Oil, alerting Gas, who had me held by the collar of my shirt at the tip of a headless spear
Gas: Your energy has been restored. Were you healed somehow?
Monaito: Don't forget your partner, Granolah!
Monaito handed Granolah the Oatmeel Eyepatch
Oatmeel: I swear if you ever chuck me aside again!
Granolah: Sorry about that, Oatmeel.
Oatmeel: Does the strongest have no need for my support?!
Granolah: No, I'll always want you backing me up, I was just blinded by my anger, my hatred, toward people who don't deserve it.
Granolah put Oatmeel back on and took a deep breath before letting out a powerful yell. Caulifla smiled, sensing Granolah's increased power thanks to the Senzu Bean
Granolah: PUT Y/N DOWN AND GET DOWN HERE GAS! YOU'RE HERE TO FIGHT ME!
Gas smiled, flinging me off the spear. I hit the ground with a thud.
Gas: Just so.
Gas lands down and creates a shield on both arms
Macki and Oil slowly stood up.
Macki: That rotten Granolah! How's he looking even peppier than ever?! He was beaten to a pulp just a bit ago!
Oil: Relax... We know Gas is the strongest now. He's gonna win this for us!
Gas and Granolah charge at each other. Gas swung with one of his two shields, but Granolah slid below, shooting at Gas over and over with his fingers, but Gas blocked every blow. Gas flew down with incredible speed, but Granolah dodged, causing Gas to smack into the ground hard. Gas grunted, summoning his spear back and swinging at Granolah. Granolah caught the spear and smacked Gas away with it.
Granolah: Nice try, but that ain't gonna work on me!
Gas summoned a whole batch of kunai and threw them at Granolah. Granolah swatted them all away
Oatmeel: Your heart rate is elevated. Remain calm and focused.
Granolah: Got it.
Oatmeel: Ah! Wait! There's a wrecking ball incoming from above!
Granolah managed to catch the wrecking ball, but with a tug of the chain, the ball exploded.
Granolah: Tricky bastard...
Oatmeel: Not so fast, Granolah! You're surrounded by his projectiles! There are 46 kunai incoming within a 50-chiaseed radius!
All the kunai seemed to connect, but Granolah caught each one flawlessly
Granolah: These tricks won't work on me anymore, Gas.
Caulifla: Well? How's Granolah holding up?
Y/N: As well as Gas... or better
Caulifla: Oh yeah? Nice, the Senzu Bean didn't go to waste!
Granolah and Gas exchanged several powerful blows, with Granolah landing a kick that knocked Gas back. Gas used his magic again, summoning a jousting lance
Granolah didn't give Gas a chance to use it, flying right in and punching Gas back
Macki: ACK!
Caulifla: NICE ONE, GRANOLAH! KICK HIS ASS!
Gas crashed hard into a tree, stopping him in place
Oil: Gimme a break... How is Gas getting beaten back?!
Y/N: Gas only achieved the title of strongest a bit ago.
Caulifla: Oh yeah... So he can't make use of his full power yet. Just like Granolah at first
Y/N: Your guess is as good as mine. I just wonder... how did Bardock beat this guy back then?
Granolah charged right in as Gas summoned a scimitar
Gas swung the scimitar, but Granolah slid right under and punted Gas up high in the air
Y/N: The gap between them is evident. This is Granolah's chance!
Caulifla: But why is Gas sticking to that one move using those strange weapons?
Y/N: Hard to say. Perhaps he gained that ability from the wish to become the strongest
Monaito: Nope... Gas has always used those weapons he created outta nothing.
Caulifla: Oh?
Gas continued creating weapons, summoning two shuriken-like spinning blades that wrapped around his wrists. Gas flew right toward Granolah, but Granolah caught the blade mid-spin and kicked him away.
Granolah: Why..? Why rely solely on that arsenal of yours?! DIDN'T THAT WISH GIVE YOU NEW POWERS?! IF THIS IS ALL YOU'VE GOT, THEN YOU'RE DONE FOR-
Granolah charged at Gas, but Gas began to finally use his newly gained powers, blocking a punch from Granolah. Gas simply put his hand out and blasted Granolah in the face
Oil: HE COUNTERED!
Granolah sat up, blood dripping down his face.
Granolah: I knew it... You were holding back your new strength...
Gas: I consider this a failure on my part. I had hoped to kill you with the technique I've honed.
Granolah took aim and shot at Gas teleported forward, dodging every blast
Y/N: INSTANT TRANSMISSION?!
Gas: Any abilities you've gained are now mine as well.
Gas clenched his fist and drove it into Granolah's stomach.
Gas: My power is far superior to yours.
Gas unleashed a massive Hakai attack that blew Granolah back
Caulifla: That looked like Hakai...
Y/N: He never needed those extra weapons!
Gas looked at his hand, realizing how much power he now possessed.
Gas: I see now.
Granolah flew up in the air, shedding his jacket, a new scar running down over his left eye
Granolah: I never thought taking you down would be easy! Well, go on. What can the universe's strongest muster?! I've still got plenty of fight left in me!
Granolah used Instant Transmission to teleport behind Gas, but Gas blocked the punch and retorted with a kick. Gas lunged at Granolah, but once again, he used Instant Transmission to avoid the attack and respond with a kick of his own
Gas grunted and used Instant Transmission of his own to teleport behind Granolah, but once again, Granolah used his Instant Transmission to dodge. Soon, both fighters were teleporting around, trying to land a blow
Caulifla: Are they for real? They're both using Instant Transmission like it's nothing!
Y/N: Like it's nothing? Take a closer look. Gas still isn't familiar with the technique. He boasts speed and strength, yes. But have you ever seen Instant Transmission used so sloppily?
Caulifla: Oh, yeah!
Y/N: If nothing else, Granolah wields it more accurately. He still stands a chance.
