ULTRA INSTINCT'S ULTRA WEAKNESS
Shimorekka looked over the edge of Moro's ship
Shimorekka: Whoa! Two of those Saiyans showed up!
OG73-1: W-what?
Shimorekka looked around at all the Galactic Patrol ships that were flying away
Shimorekka: W-wait! Did they recapture ALL OUR PALS?! What's even happening down there?!

Piccolo: Is that Ultra Instinct?! Looks like he can activate it at will!
Caulifla: Hell yeah he can! Our training with Merus paid off! COME ON, Y/N! KICK HIS ASS!
Moro: To think that such a lowly life-form could obtain such a divine technique. How surprising.
Y/N: Let's do this, Moro.
Moro: As you wish, Son Y/N.
Gohan: It's finally starting for real. The fate of Earth... no... the Universe itself is riding on this fight
Caulifla: Not the first time we've heard that one...
Y/N began throwing punches too quickly for even Moro to see, all of which Moro barely blocked
Piccolo: Huh? Is Y/N even attacking
Jaco: He is, with air blasts I think. He's whipping his fist real fast to fire off blasts of air
Caulifla smirked, a wicked idea coming to mind, but now wasn't the time for that.
Moro: What a pesky attack
Moro used a Volcano Eruption attack to cause the ground under Y/N to explode, but Y/N was quick to dodge. Moro noticed this and began launching rapid-fire blasts, all of which Y/N dipped and dodged between. Y/N reached Moro with a powerful punch that Moro blocked. Y/N jumped over Moro, looking to kick him in the face, but Moro barely dodged.
Moro: This technique boasts heightened abilities. So be it.
Moro used some of his magic to create barriers around Y/N's hands and feet, rendering him immobile
Moro: I need only to immobilize you!
Moro kicked Y/N in the stomach, sending him toward the ground. Y/N managed to power through the barriers and regain his footing before lunging back at Moro
Y/N: Was that your magic?
Moro: That was but only a single example out of a number of my techniques
ON YARDRAT
Vegeta: Moro is finally making his move... and the one opposing him is Y/N?

Moro began to unleash his energy all over, Y/N dodging every incoming blast
Y/N: You guys need to back off some more!
Gohan: S-sure thing! Go all-out and don't worry about Earth! We've already gathered the Dragon Balls! They're at Dende's place! That means we can always put everything back to normal
Y/N: Gotcha
Caulifla, Gohan, and Piccolo jumped back as I began to charge up my attack
Y/N: Final...
I continued to dodge Moro's relentless attack
Y/N: Spirit...
As I reached Moro, my instincts warned me of his intentions
Y/N: CANNON!
I whip myself around, blasting the real Moro as the original was revealed to be an After-Image
Moro: You saw through the illusion?! How perceptive.
Y/N: Yeah, seen that trick before!
17: Y/N is here, I take it?
18: Well? Did he come back stronger than ever?
Piccolo: Hard to say. We aren't able to read his ki.
Both Moro and I break our beam struggle and engage in punches and kicks again. I finally manage to land a headbutt, sending him flying. As I kick him in the back, Moro surrounds me with a magic barrier, pulling me toward him. I manage to break through and launch more rapid-fire punches. He pulls more closer and closer and both of us land powerful blows on each other. Both of us hit the ground and, even in pain, charge at each other
Gohan: Seems like Y/N and Moro are on even footing
Piccolo: Not quite... Y/N's clearly faster
17: So he can win?
Caulifla: Dammit, Moro hasn't tried that energy-absorbing technique yet...
Just like that, Moro began to absorb energy. I notice this, realizing with Ultra Instinct's speed, I can actually avoid the technique. I vanish from Moro's sight
Gohan: H-he vanished again!
I reappear behind Moro and manage to land a punch, but Moro grabs my wrist and throws me. Moro aims his energy absorption attack at me, but I continue to dodge it
Moro: Ah... As I thought
Caulifla: OF COURSE! HE'S MOVING AT TOP SPEED TO DODGE THE ENERGY ABSORPTION!
Piccolo: THAT'S POSSIBLE?!
Gohan: And that means... Y/N won't get his energy stolen and he's already got the advantage in battle!
Caulifla: HA! Without his best technique, Moro doesn't stand a chance! COME ON, Y/N! KICK HIS ASS!
I manage to land a powerful kick to Moro's stomach. Moro swipes at my head, but I dodge and flip backward away from him. I manage to rebound and charge at Moro and land a spinning kick to his ribs, sending Moro flying
Y/N: Phew...
Piccolo: Y/N's incredible... I can only imagine the hellish training he's been through
Caulifla: Best not to wonder, Y/N was pushed to his limit by Merus
Gohan: Think about it! Y/N still has the other Ultra Instinct form left! The one with the silver hair!
Caulifla simply side-eyed Gohan

On Beerus' world, Whis and Merus watched the battle from a staff
Whis: Marvelous. Well done indeed training Y/N to this extent. I sing your praises, Merus.
Beerus: *yawns* So hungry... Hey, kid. You spent a good long time in the mortal realm. Know any tasty recipes?
Merus: I was enlisted with the Galactic Patrol... so I'm afraid not
Beerus scoffed and returned to fishing
Whis: Has Y/N mastered Ultra Instinct? Can we expect silver hair like Son Gohan claims?
Merus: No... about that...

I charge at Merus, but he causes the ground between us to explode
Moro: What's wrong? You seem so eager to be done with this.
Y/N: Hmm?
Moro: You believe you've found a way around my energy absorption.. but you've made a grave error. I only consume energy to fill my stomach. Weakening my opponents and strengthening myself are only fortunate side effects, not the primary goal.
Y/N: What?!
Moro: As such, I will happily devour your energy after you're defeated!
Y/N: Defeated how exactly?
Moro: You thought this was all I could muster?! YOU FOOL!
Moro began to yell, powering up further and further
Piccolo: MORO HASN'T BEEN FIGHTING AT FULL STRENGTH?!
Caulifla: You've got to be shitting me! Does this guy have even more power?!
Moro powered up more and more
Moro: I've consumed countless planets since our previous encounter! All of which has filled me with enough power to transcend the very gods!
Gohan: TH-THAT KI!
Piccolo: IT'S ENORMOUS! TO A TERRIFYING EXTENT!
Moro charged at me with frightening speed and launched a blast at me. I deflect the blast, but he reappears behind me, and even more Ultra Instinct itself could react, he wraps his arms around me
Y/N: G-GET OFF OF ME!
Moro: Now I understand why you didn't employ this during the entire fight with Saganbo.
Moro squeezed me, causing me to scream in agony as Ultra Instinct fades away from me
Moro: It's because you can't maintain it for long.
Moro throws me right into a hill.

Whis: So he was only able to achieve the base level of Ultra Instinct?
Merus: Yes.. he never managed to achieve the True Ultra Instinct form.
Whis: I see... that doesn't bode well. The base form serves as the gateway to Ultra Instinct, but it isn't stable. That instability consumes an enormous amount of stamina. Were you aware?
Merus: I was. This battle hinges on Son Y/N's ability to manage that energy drain while keeping up with Ultra Instinct as long as possible.

Moro: You hoped to bring our bout to a hasty conclusion while you still had the stamina for it. But too bad for you
Y/N: I should've realized you already figured out my weakness. But still.. If I were just stalling for time, that means you don't think you can beat me when I'm at full power, huh? And if I can keep hitting you with all I've got, I can win this.
I power back up, achieving Autonomous Ultra Instinct once again
Y/N: Sorry, Merus. But a stamina balancing act just isn't my style!
Moro: So you still had some power left. Good, now I'm intrigued
