Is it a bad thing to say I'm writing this to fuel my own addiction?

Simply watching the film in the cinema (for the 5th time) isn't enough anymore I admit. And quite frankly, I'm shocked to my core that there aren't already thousands of avatar fanfics?
I'm genuinely ashamed to say when I watched the first Avatar when I was about 13 I not once thought to check for fanfictions even though the Jake Sully fever was growing by the day.
