Techno had left to go get clothes and necessities for you, so you were now alone with Philza, a complete stranger. Technically you'd met several strangers, but it didn't seem to get easier. "Adria?" He said? Walking over to the side of the room you'd been exploring. You looked up at him before glancing around, looking for the man you'd found comfort in earlier. "He'll be back soon, promise. I'm Philza." Phil noticed you looking around for his friend as he introduced himself. You mumbled a small greeting. It was inaudible; but still a step in the right direction.
"Would you like to get washed up?" He smiled softly, glad you were at least making an effort to adapt to a new environment despite it being so unusual. "Mhm," you responded, still looking at the floor and clenching your shaky hands around your plushie. "Can you get washed up by yourself?" Phil asked, not quite sure how this was supposed to work. "I-" you started pausing to get hold of your words. "I need help with turning on- on the water." You stumbled over your sentence, but had a strong effort to speak more clearly.
Phil walked into the bathroom and took a towel off the shelf, before turning on warm water to heat up for you. "So, how'd you get here? Did your dad drop you off?" Phil sat on the couch near you, making conversation as the water heated up. "No, he-he took me out to the trees." Your voice became scratchy. "Mommy died and daddy-" you sniffled, watching philza as his expression became softer and more sorrow. "Daddy didn't want me so-... so he put me in the woods and told me not to move until he was gone..." Tears became a steady stream down your face for yet another time today.
A:"But he didn't come back so I walked around for a lot of time and then I saw big big walls!" You made a motion, spreading out your arms to try and scale the size of the walls.
P:"I'm sorry, that wasn't very nice of your dad to do."
A:"I think he was just sad about mommy going away. He started drinking more of the mean juice..."
P:"Mean juice?"
A:"Mhm. It's the bottles of drink that kids are aren't supposed to have. Whenever daddy drank lots of it he got mean and loud and punchy..."
P:"Well, I don't think me or Technoblade will ever do that, so you don't need to worry."
By now the water had heated, Phil showed you where all the soap and such was, before leaving you. He worked at washing your stuffed hippo, knocking on the door every so often to make sure you were alright. About 20 minutes later, you'd gotten out of the shower, dried off, and gotten dressed. Techno had returned with clothes a little while back. An oversized long sleeve shirt, striped orange and black from an old Halloween costume, and shorts that had been shrunk in the the wash.
"I want my hair like that." You pointed to the long braid in the pig-like man's hair. "But it's mine," he huffed. "You're mean." You stuck out your tongue. "You're a brat!" Technoblade retaliated, sticking his tongue out as well. You turned to him and stared him down, a light point on your face. "PHIL ITS STARING AT ME! MAKE HER STOP!" Techno yelled. "You're so immature, just figure it out!" Phil yelled from another room whilst making everyone food.
Needless to say, the night concluded with Technoblade braiding your damp hair as you filled up your stomach with warm food, listening to Phil tell a story about when he was younger. You fell asleep at Philza's house, but were carried by a certain pink-tinted man back to the house next to Phil's, falling asleep next to Techno on his couch next to the fireplace.
