Asher understood what Cian was begging for and nodded in agreement, he wrapped his arm around Cian's waist and Cian rested his arm on Asher's shoulder and they vamped to Clint's room. Clint's room as located far away from Asher's room, because of a former incidents. They reached Clint's phone room and saw Raymond and Sean holding down a trembling Clint to his bed. Cian found his way to Clint's side and pulled him into a hug.
'I'm here' Cian said gently patting Clint's back, Clint drew away from the hug to stare at Cian's face, Clint pinched Cian's cheek to confirm that he was no longer dreaming before resting Cian's chest and Clint's trembling body began to relax. Sean and Raymond finally relaxed and Sean picked up his glasses which had fallen on the ground when he was trying to hold down Clint.
'Come in' Clint whispered and Asher heard it, Asher came into the room and sat on the couch.
'Is it about that night again?' Raymond asked and Clint shook his head,
'It's something different' Clint whispered
'Do you want to talk about it?' Cian asked and Clint shook his head and hid his face more into Cian's chess m
'I stay with him, you guys can go back to sleep' Cian said, Sean and Raymond stood up from the bed to leave
'You too, Asher, I can't sleep with you today, maybe tomorrow' Cian said to Asher who was still sitting on the couch.
Sean and Raymond shot him a "what the fuck" look, Asher didn't say anything he just smirked at Sean and Raymond then left Clint's room with shoulders high. Cian heard Sean and Raymond throwing questions at Asher but couldn't hear them clearly soon the voices trailed off.
'Cian' Clint called withdrawing from Cian's embrace.
'Yes' Cian answered looking Clint straight in the eyes, all he could see was fear.
'Can you promise me something?' Clint asked in a quiet voice coated with fear
'Anything' Cian said
'Can you promise me never to leave?' Clint asked
'I swear on you' Cian said assuring Clint who breathed out in relief
'You know if I knew about that night I might be able to help you' Cian said smoothing Clint disheveled hair
'In whatever you do, don't remember that night' Clint snapped
'Ok, bro, calm down, I know another way to make you feel better' Cuba said and Clint lightened up.
Cian took Clint outside the mansion, the mansion stood far from the city with no other house surrounding it, they went to the backyard.
'When was the last time you turned?' Cian asked
'Two months? I haven't turned since you came back' Clint said
'You said that being in your wolf form give you freedom from fear, why don't you turn, beside I'm curious to see you wolf form' Cian said and Clint silently stared at him before deciding to turn.
Clint crouched down to the ground, his fingers grew to sharp claws, his bone broke into pieces and Cian could hear the cracking and rearranging it self, fur spurt out of Clint's hair pores and Clint face gradually changed into a wolf. Clint's wolf form was huge compared to a normal wolf, it was of the same shoulder length with Cian, Clint's fur were white and brown. Clint howled on his complete transformation,
'Now run, let go of the anger! the pain! the fear! the nightmares! and just feel free!' Cian shouted as Clint took his heels.
Clint ran round the mansion three times before stopping in front of Cian and bent down, like he was signalling Cian to climb on top of him, Clint's wolf nudged Cian on his arm with his head and Cian ran his fingers through its fur and it felt like soft cotton then he climbed on Clint's back, Clint stood up slowly so that Cian won't fall. Cian laid on his brother wolf's back and wrapped his arms around its neck as Clint made his way back to the mansion.
Clint cleaned his claws on the door mat before entering into the mansion, Clint headed for his room then bent down beside the bed for Cian to come down.
'Come up to the bed, I'm comfortable with your wolf' Cian said when Clint bent his limbs and laid on the floor, Clint's sea blue eyes lightened up and he immediately climbed the bed, Cian laughed at Clint adorable moments and started catching his neck as if Clint was a dog,
'You big dog' Cian said laughing and scratching Clint's neck, Clint would have gotten angry if it was someone else but it was Cian, the most precious person to him. Clint rested his head on Cian's shoulder and Cian wrapped his hand around Cian's huge neck, Cian was feeling sleepy and once his head was on Clint fury body he drifted away in sleep. Clint noticed Cian's movement stopped so Clint slowly laid his head on the bed careful not to wake Cian up, then wiggled his head from Cian's grasp. Clint couldn't explain the happiness and relief that he felt when he found out that his nightmare was not true and he stared at his brother sleeping face before joining him to sleep, Clint noticed Cian's body shifting closer to Clint and stopped when he reached Clint's furs, Cian buried his fingers into his fur and continued sleeping,
"I thought you didn't like cuddling" Clint thought and internally smiled.
Asher had been seating by Cian's room window and had watched Cian mad Clint play as Cian got used to Clint's wolf form, he also wants Cian his wolf form. Asher remembered when they were young they used to try guessing the color of Asher's wolf. Asher wished that Cian hadn't disappeared that night but he knew if Cian had stayed Cian would been killed. Asher knew he still had a long way to go in his relationship with Cian and knew one day he would definitely show Cian his wolf form.
Sean went to the school library during the lunch break the next day, lunch break was two hours so they had time left after eating. Sean took Cian to the vampires book section, Sean took out some books on Vampire history and handed it to Cian who was trailing behind him.
'Do you really want me to read a this?' Cian asked as Sean was dropping the fifth book in his arms.
'You can use two hours to read each of them' Sean said
'Yeah, you can do that since your head is always buried in the books' Cian snouted
'You don't like reading' Sean asked still going through the book in the shelf.
'I like reading but not like you do and I'm not a fast reader' Cian said, Sean heard but didn't reply, he dropped another book in Cian's arms instead.
'Can you summarize Vampire history to me before I go through this?' Cian requested referring to the books in his arms.
Sean stopped picking out books and turned to Cian then leaned I the shelf as he began to talk,
'Vampires history dates back to the 5th Century, it all began with a man named Gareth, he was once a ordinary human who was in love with the daughter of the sun, Illithyia. Gareth had mistakely killed Illithyia while he was hunting in the open field, the death of Illithyia under the sun made Apollo, the greek god angry. The sun shine for three days without any night, the priests pleaded with Apollo to give them night and they would give him anything he requested. Apollo asked for Gareth, he cursed Gareth to live in the shadows away from the sun and feast on blood. Apollo killed Gareth and Gareth and Gareth resurrected with fangs and hunger for human blood and he also got his abilities to survive' Sean narrated
'You should have just told me instead of giving me these books to read' Cian complained.
'There are many myth in the books and it's up to you to pick out the true stories' Sean said and his phone began to buzz in his pocket. Sean brought out his phone from his pocket and checked his notification at the same time Cian phone buzzed. Raymond created a group chat for them,
Raymond: No one should dare leave this group chat
Clint: Have you heard?
Raymond: Heard what
Clint: The beginning of semester party is tomorrow
Raymond: What! how come you are ten first to know it
Clint: I told you I have ways of getting information
Raymond: If it's tomorrow we are going shopping tonight
Cian: No! I have plan
Clint: You have no choice
Raymond: Let's shoe Cian how we party in the supernatural world, have you ever been to a part before
Cian: No, maybe once, it wasn't a good experience
Asher: let's stay at home
Clint: Not happening, loner!
Sean: Come on, let's party, meet you guys at the mall.
Sean shut his phone and turned to see the reluctant Cian and he smirked, his face obeyed him. Again, making a surprised look replace Cian reluctancy.
