We stayed at the pier for about another 3 hours, around 4:40 we decided to head to the mall. When we got there, Brady, Jordan, and Tristan wanted to go to the Nike store. Becca and Maddy wanted to go to some clothing store. Jacob, Miguel, Gavin, and Lola wanted to go to the food court. While Mason and I didn't really care where we went. The mall always overwhelmed me, the loudness, all the things, and all the people were just too much for me (SPD). Becca and Maddy left to go to EVEREVE. Brady, Jordan, and Tristan left for the Nike store. Jacob, Miguel, Gavin, Lola, Mason, and I walk around for a bit then went to the food court. Lola, Miguel, and I ordered Chick-fil-a, Jacob and Gavin ordered from some Chinese place, and Mason just stole some of my fries.

Mads: Cass! COME TO EVEREVE WE NEED HELP
Caslyn: like rn???
BBB: yes like rn!!
Caslyn: what happened????
Mads: We will tell you when you get here
"Hey Mase, Becca and Maddy just texted me. They said that they need some help." I say quietly enough so only he can hear
"Are they okay?" He asks
"I don't know, they won't tell me." I answer
"Do you want me to come with you?" He asks I can see the concern in his eyes
"If you want to" I shrug my shoulders
"Okay then let's go. Do you want to take your food?" Mason asks starting to collect all of the food and trash
"No it's fine we can come back, and we both know they will still be here in 5 hours if we let them." I say referring to the other teens sitting around the table
"Okay, you sure?"
"Yeah, let's go they sounded like they really need help." We both stood up from our seats gaining the attention of everyone at the table
"Where are you two going?" Miguel asks raising his eyebrows at us. We both roll our eyes
"Maddy and Becca texted me asking for help, so we're gonna go check on them." I inform
"Together?" Gavin asks
"Yeah, why?" I respond
"Uhh, no reason. Do you two need any help?" He questions starting to stand up
"Uh no, we're fine. Thank you though." Mason steps in
"Yeah there's two of them and two girls who need their help. It's even, they'll be fine." Miguel says standing up to. I was a bit confused why everyone was getting worked up about this
"Okay well we need to go, sorry for cutting this short." I grab Mason's hand and start walking away. Mason can tell that I'm starting to get worked up because my grip on his hand is getting tighter and my breaths are getting faster and shallower.
"Hey, Cass, calm down everything is gonna be fine. We are gonna go and check on them so we can go back to eat." Mason said trying to calm me down
"But what if they're hurt, we spent so long trying to leave something could have happened." I said my breath picking up even more. Mason stopped, pulling me to stop with him
"Hey, Cassie. Look at me. Everything's okay. We don't know if anything's wrong until we get there, but we can't get there until you calm down. So just breathe, then when your breathing is slower and better then we can go help Maddy and Becca." He said very calmly which helped me calm down, he then pulled me into a hug and just held me in his arms. I focused on one thing, since my vision was blurry with tears and lack of oxygen, I focused on his smell, he smelled like vanilla and a hint of something else that I couldn't figure out what it was but it smelled good either way. My breathing slowed and my vision came back. I pulled away and Mason looked at me for a second, "Are you okay now?" I nodded my head "I want to hear you say you're okay." He pushed
"I'm okay Mason." I say looking into his really pretty eyes
"Alright, you ready to go?" He asks softly like I could break any second if he's too loud
"Yeah." Mason takes my hand and we start walking towards EVEREVE. It was a short 2 minute walk. I immediately spot Maddy and Becca sitting on a bench
"Hey girls, what's wrong?" I ask walking up to them
"We need your help deciding what to buy" Becca informed me, with this information Mason drops my hand and face palms, and my jaw dropped, "What, is something wrong?" Becca asks
"And why is Mason here?" Maddy adds on
"Well what's wrong is we thought something was actually wrong, and I'm here cause we thought something was actually wrong." Mason says with a bit of agitation in his voice.
"Oh sorry, we just needed help deciding what to buy" Maddy said with a smile
"Okay, show us whatcha got" I say sitting down on the bench they were waiting for us on, Mason sat next to me, "Well, that was fun" He looked over and gave me a 'really' look, I just giggled. Becca and Maddy both tried on two outfits, they both looked cute in the outfits that they chose. They had Mason and I rate them on a scale from 1-10. They couldn't decide so they ended up buying all of the outfits they had chosen. When they were done we head back to the food court.
"Welcome back!" Miguel yells wiggling his eyebrows at us. He has an ice-cream in his hand and melted ice-cream on his face.
"Is everything alright?" Jacob asks
"Yeah, they needed help deciding what outfits to buy" I inform the group
"They still couldn't decide so they ended up each buying two outfits" Mason finished, I nodded my head in agreement
"Wow that was the 'big emergency'?" Jacob asks laughing
"Yes ok, the people at the store were telling us we were too young to be there unattended and were about to kick us out' Maddy informed him
"Ok let's find the others and head home the mall is going to close in about 15 minutes anyway" Mason says. I look at my phone and he's correct it's 7:43. Miguel tried texting the guys but nobody answers, we wander around the mall for another 10 minutes before we find them in Hot Topic. Everyone splits ways Brady is taking a few people back to their hotels. Mason, Lola, Gavin, and I are walking back to Mason and I's hotel cause Lola and Gavin left their car there. While we were inside the temperature dropped. A lot. And I was just in leggings and a loose tank top. I crossed my arms to try and keep warm.
"Cass you cold?" Mason asks I nod my head
"Do you want my sweatshirt?" I hear Gavin ask, I wasn't really expecting him to offer
"It's fine man she can have mine I have a shirt on under and another shirt over." (He is wearing 3 layers a shirt, his white sweatshirt, then a plaid over shirt) Mason takes his plaid and sweatshirt off, puts his plaid back on and hands me the sweatshirt
"Thanks Mase." I put the sweatshirt on and give Mason a little twirl. He smiles at me causing me to let out a little giggle. We continue to walk to the hotel making small talk. When we get to the hotel, I hug Lola and Gavin goodbye and they leave. Walking to the elevator I push the call button. Mason walks up behind me and grabs my hand and twirls me around like a princess
"You look beautiful in my hoodies. I wanted to tell you earlier but there were other people around." I smile at him and he smiles back. I wrap my arms around his waist and he wraps his around my shoulders. We stand like that until the elevator opens. We walk in and head up to our floor
"Are you okay from earlier?" Mason asks me
"Yeah, are you?" I ask
"What do you mean?"
"At the pier, you can't tell me nothing was wrong. Believe it or not I kinda know you better than to believe that." I explain
"Well, I don't know if you could tell but Gavin has a crush on you, and it's painfully obvious. Then when he yelled your full name which none of the rest of us knew, I don't know, something just felt weird about it. I wanted to make sure you were okay the whole time." Mason explained quietly
"Aww Mason. That's so sweet, and please trust me when I say this. The only reason I never told anyone, is that it never came up, or anything relevant. And like I have told you before you I'm okay, I'm fine and I always will be. But if I need anything I will always come to you." I finish walking over to him to give him a hug. Just as I was about to the elevator doors open. I pull back to walk out but Mason pulls me into the hug anyway
"The elevator can wait. It's not about to make me miss out on one of my favorite hugs" Mason says and buries his head in my neck.
