"are you alright?" Niki asks me as I lay down on the couch, my mind was playing that tragic incident over and over again "I guess not"
I remind him "don't do that again, you like causing scenes a lot" he scoffed and ran a hand through his hair "if I haven't stopped him, then what would you do?"
I glanced at him and pursed my lips, I've always hated how primitive he could be in situations like these "how far do I have to go to feel like I'm enough"
He sat on the space I gave him and pursed his lips "you're enough. does he make you feel worthless?" and perhaps I do feel like that sometimes
whenever I think about my stupid young decisions with him I feel like it was pretty deluding to think that it was an innocent and pure love
I couldn't even properly love him back then
Niki stands in front of me, the wind coming from the half open window cascades over his well defined face and brushes against his hair delicately "the eyes are the loneliest creation God ever made"
he looked at me with a sad face "you look ugly when you're sad" I almost frowned from his crude words when another soft whisper follows
"love looks pretty on you"
And to think that he was there when I fell in love all over again, there when he promised to be a better man for me, there when he held me in his arms, and there when we would have bad days together
He saw everything between us
"Niki" tears started to drip in my eyes as he leans over and lets me hold him in my embrace, I tightly wrap my arms around him and sob loudly
I want to get out of this situation, I can't handle this anymore
I never knew crying in his embrace would feel so light and comforting "I'm here" he says in a consoling voice as he waits for me to calm down "Noona, it's alright"
It's stupid. I shouldn't care. We're not a couple. We're just two lost people trying to find track again. But, if I'm honest, his reaction stung.
The incident itself felt like a rejection. I suppose I'm not supposed to care, just let him walk and come back whenever he pleases wouldn't be that hard
But deep down inside, I knew that it wasn't
I settled down a bit when I saw Sunoo peaking a little, I sniffled and shoved Niki away "what the fuck are you looking at?" I ask the curious man
"why are you crying?" he asked in a worried tone and approached us, Niki sighs and glares at him "could you mind your own business? you smelly douche bag-"
"Niki!" I scold him "it's nothing much, you don't have to worry" I tried to assure him because I know that he's already doubting situations "is this about Jungkook Hyung?"
Niki grunts "Sunoo!"
He flinches from surprise and I sigh "please don't worry, this is nothing to be worried about" I stood up and approached him "this has nothing to do with Jungkook"

It was late at night as I stand at the balcony, gazing at the stars as they shine as they usually do, I think about the times Taehyung and I would adore them
I do realize that he likes star gazing
A bitter laugh almost comes out from my laughs when Sunoo comes right up to me, looking like he got woken up "hey, your phone keeps ringing" he hands me my phone while yawning
He goes back as I check to see who would even call me these deep in the night, could it be Dahyun? but she sleeps early though
I look at the caller and several unread messages and widen my eyes
Taehyung:

I'm so drunk
I'm drinking so that I could forget you
But fuck, it makes me think about you more

I put the phone down from the intense recklessness of my heart, it was beating profoundly against my chest and I almost lost my breath
Was he drunk texting me?
The next day at school makes my head throb from the last incident, Jungkook and Niki are next to me as we walk by the halls "Hyung! do you wanna come over later? Let's watch some movies!"
Jungkook slides his hand on my shoulder and pulls me closer to him, I glance at his inked arm dangerously dancing on my body "hmm, only if she would want me there"
"Do you?"
I rolled my eyes in secret before responding "whatever goes your boat, do what you want" I said fiercly, almost int he edge of telling him to not touch me and mind his own business "alright, I'll be sleeping there later as well"
Jungkook slips his hand down my back and finally lets go, I finally take a deep breath and heard a deep grunt from behind "I can't believe she's still with this fucking guy. He's such a prick"
Taehyung scoffs, shaking his head a little before shoving his way past me, bumping our shoulders on purpose as he states such rubbish
Jimin turns his head towards me while sticking his tongue "what the hell?.." Sunoo says in confusion "who was that? and the audacity!"
I try not to roll my eyes from his crude and ignorant remarks "asshole" I mutter and turned to my brother "let's go somewhere else"
"Who was that annoying man anyway? I'm aware that he was the guy Niki was shouting at and the one you were crying for, who is he?" he says desperately
I know that keeping things burried wouldn't last forever as there are some who try to resurface it all over again, hiding things might be useless "my ex"
His eyes were so wide that they could almost pass out "YOUR EX?! SINCE WHEN AND HOW WHEN JUNG-" I cover his mouth and hiss at him "quiet!"
He shoves my hands off his mouth and whispers torridly "how in the world did that bastard get in your standard? I bet he's the fucking prick here" he scoffs
"I'd rather you be with Jungkook-"
"To hell with that devil" Niki walks up to us with crossed arms, glaring at Sunoo with cold eyes "you shut that dumb mouth of yours, Jungkook is a piece of shit"
"No, that man is!" Sunoo argues
Niki grunts "you little shit-"
"That's enough" I grab him by the ear to make him stop his indecisive judgments and sigh "can you two just shut up as if this is your own relationship, get your own!"
They both fix their posture as they walk on both of my sides, slinging their arm on my shoulder while laughing "no one will hurt you" Niki says
He lifts his hands to pat my head "but when you're happy, I'll let you be" he says, assuring me that as long as I'm happy he won't get in between
But when I do get tormented, he won't accept it
I walked at the back of school wondering my own business as I see Taehyung and Jimin talking, his blue hair was dancing against the wind as he leans against the wall
Jimin notices me and smiles, whispering something to his friend before walking away "what are you doing here?" Taehyung asks rudely
I purse my lips in annoyance "I was just walking by, don't be too full of yourself" you selfish yet arrogantly handsome ass hat! That gorgeous face of yours will not have an affect with me!
I walk past him when he grabs my wrist and pulls me ruthlessly to his chest, I widen my eyes and tried to pry his hands off me when he exclaims "why are you so hard to please! why won't you hug me, kiss me, hold me alone!"
"Just like before.." his voice softens
My eyes trail along his face, eating up every little detail there is, his beautiful brown eyes, his adorable nose, his plump lips, and his sharp jawline
I can't believe that a man like him is throwing tantrums "I hate it when you get mad at me, can't you just tell me what I did to get you mad?" his soft hands fondled my arm and slowly went down to touch my hands
Intertwining them together as he consoles me "can you tell me what's wrong? I don't think I can go through another day knowing that my baby is upset about me"
Baby? Baby your ass!
"This bitch Lani said you told her about us! and she said mean things...about me" I said with so much annoyance, sounding like a child complaining "why would you tell her that.."
"What do you mean? and why would I tell her about us?" His brows knit in confusion and his lips turned into a frown "I never told her about us"
"But she knew! she told me things" my voice gets smaller with every word I say, now that he's telling me about his side it makes me feel a little bit better and light "but I would never tell her, believe me"
Many questions circulated on my mind, not much know about our history then who would be the one that would snitch on us when they're all our friends
"don't worry" he cups my cheeks "I'll talk to her and find out who is behind this, okay?" he said softly
"She said she had you when I was gone"
"She didn't, only you did"
"I'm all yours" he pulls me close to kiss my eyes, my nose, and my cheeks, the soft strands of his hair glide against the coldness of my skin "are you still mad?"
"No"
"Your reflection is lying" he says, pinching my cheeks when I wasn't responding enough to him "since the very start, there wasn't anything between us"
"Sure?"
he hooks his finger unto a strand of my hair and laughs "are my drunk texts not enough to convince you?" he laughs while reminding me of last night
"Shut up!" I yelled with wide eyes
"It's not funny!" I complained again and again until he pulls me to his embrace, the subtle vibrations of his chest caused me to stop
"I love you" he whispered
