"Babe, is there something bothering you?" Irene asks
Taehyung immediately puts his phone away. Irene can't see the pictures, it'll complicate things even more
"Yeah, there is an emergency. I have to handle it" he replies
"Right now? We didn't even have dinner yet. I made so many things for you" she says being sulky
"I am really sorry but I have to go" Taehyung says, picks his suit up and leaves without waiting for Irene to respond

Jisoo is pacing back and forth in her room, she has openly challenged Sehun. It'll only be a matter of time till everything comes crashing down.
Someone rings the door bell again. She feels scared, it must be Sehun again. She rushes to the door and opens it
"Sehun, i told yo--"
It's not Sehun, it's Taehyung instead.
"Uh.. Hi" she says
"You seem disappointed that it's me. Were you waiting for someone? Someone called Sehun maybe?" he says and walks inside
It is actually just the opposite, Jisoo is glad that it is Taehyung. Now even if Sehun comes again, he can't do anything. She feels this strange sense of safety with Taehyung around, the one were she feels that no one can hurt her.
"I am not, I just didn't expect to see you. Have you had your dinner yet?" she says trying to change the topic
"I am going to ask you once and for all, what was Sehun doing here?" Taehyung asks with anger boiling through his voice
"Sehun?" Jisoo's voice shakes
"Oh don't pretend to not know" he replies
"He--he was here--looking for you" she lies
"So, he came here looking for me and you ended up in his arms? Let me guess, you just tripped and conincidentally hugged him, right? I fucking told you I hate liars. How many times do I have to remind you? I fucking hate it" he says and approaches her
Jisoo can't feel her body, everything seems numb. The tone at which Taehyung is talking is making her nervous
"I am sorr--" she struggles to speak
"He is more than a friend, isn't he? You two tried to make a fucking fool out of me. He is your lover, not a stupid friend. I asked you again and again and even fucking warned you and you still lied" Taehyung says
"He is only a friend, i don-" Jisoo tries to lie again but Taehyung grabs her wrist
"Oh yeah, what are these?" he says and shows the pictures to her
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE?" Taehyung says
Jisoo flinches at this, she is caught in her own lies.
"And to add cherry on top of the cake, you met with your love behind my back" he says
He doesn't even look at her anymore. Instead he sits on the couch withhis hands covering his face, he feels dejected, defeated. It is already hard for him to navigate all the feelings that he has been lately feeling for Jisoo only for him to get dead mad at her like this. He has never felt anger of this intensity, not even when he got to know about Jisoo and Jungkook
Jisoo knows she messed up but what hurts her the most is seeing Taehyung like this.. She walks towards the couch and kneels down in front of him. She then takes his hand onto her and looks at him
"I am--I am sorry but I lied only because I was scared. That you'd leave me afte hearing about us. I have no one in Paris and you're the only person I have. And I didn't even ask him to come here, he barged in and tried to win me back. But I said no, I made him leave. I know it is hard to trust me but please, just this once, listen to me. I have no feelings for him, neither do I want to see him ever again" Jisoo says
Taehyung can feel the genuinity in her voice but he decides not to trust her again. He frees his hand from her grip and grabs her neck bringing her face closer to his. His eyes are bloodshot red, the veins in his forehead being prominent
His grip tightens a bit more almost in a choking manner while Jisoo tries to get his hands off. A part of her knows that he won't hurt her but another part is scared because he seems way too angry
"Bring anyone close to you and I'll ruin them" he says and lets Jisoo go. Jisoo huffs for air and looks at him
He doesn't spare her a glance, instead he starts walking towards the door. On his way, he sees a vase on the coffee table and he intentionally nudges it out of anger making it fall on the ground and break
Jisoo shivers at the sound of the glass breaking and watches him leave.
She just lays on the ground on her hands crying, she can't believe how Taehyung behaved with her. She didn't know that his anger is on this level. And all because she lied to him. She doesn't even want to imagine what he'll do to her if he knows that everything about her is a lie, that all she did was build a relationship based off of lies and false information.
But what hurts her the most is knowing that she has hurt him so much that he was forced to go to this extent. She hated seeing Taehyung like that

Taehyun left but he didn't go back to Irene's. He went to his hotel room, he just wants to be alone. Throughout his life he always thought that he didn't need anyone, that he wanted to make an empire and protect his family and that's all.
But now he feels helpless, he feels territorial, for the first time in his life, he feels selfish. He hates Jisoo and for everything she has done. But he also doesn't want to share her with anyone, he wants her all to him. These feelings are strange for him, and he needs to get away from all these. He needs to be alone
He paces back and forth in his room trying control the anger but it takes control over him. How dare Sehun lay his hands on Jisoo knowing that she is engaged to him? How dare Jungkook try to come close to her when he already has Lisa? How is it that Jisoo has all these guys wrapped around her fingers? What's so special about her?
He takes his phone and scrolls through the pictures again. He doesn't know why these are adding fuel to the fire. How many guys has this girl been with? He looks at each and every photos like an eagle. Jisoo looks happy in all of them, a smile that he hasn't seen in her face ever since he first saw her. Yes, she sure does smile when he is around but not like this. He wants to see her unrestrained smile, he wants to be the reason behind that smile, but why?
Just then Irene sends him a text
I hope that you've taken care of the emergency. I guess I am so unlucky that I can't even have some time with you alone. Anyways, you know that tomorrow is the "Global Charity Event" and you've asked me to give the presentation on behalf of our company. It is such an honour ot be able to represent our company in front of all these amazing people and I am very confident about my project idea and the way I am going to pitch in front everyone and you know how competitive I am. I'll make sure that the Business Of The year Award goes to our company but I also have a request. I don't want you to bring Jisoo with you. I know that you're allowed to bring your spouse and everything but I won't be able to see your with her there in front of everyone. That is my place beside you and I don't want you to give it to her.
Taehyung takes a deep breathe, in between all the mess, he almost forgot about the event tomorrow. It is the most prestigious charity event where all the top ranked business corporation gets to pitch an idea about a future project and the one that impresses the most gets funds to carry out the project. And to top it all of, there is an award given to the one company who has achieved the most growth and made an impact. Taehyung's company has been winning it for the past 6 years but this year is different.
All the previous years, although Taehyung was the CEO, his father was also the Vice and he has only retired from the position last year. So this is the first year where Taehyung is doing everything alone, and he has to prove that he is just as prudent as his father. He wants to make everyone proud and he has given Irene the opportunity to pitch her idea and make the presentation He trusts her fully and knows that she'll bring the title home.
But usually you attend the event with your spouse. Taehyung had no intention to bring Jisoo with him in the first place especially after what she has done. So, Irene doesn't need to be woried, he'll go alone. He doesn't want Irene to be sad, the only girl who actually cares about him. Jisoo has no place in the event
Taehyung looks at the photos one last time only to turn his phone off and go take a shower. He wants to be detached from everything that has been going on in his mind

Jisoo wakes up the next day, she doesn't even know when she fell asleep on the couch. She freshens up and makes herself some pancakes but her mind is still cloudy from last night.
Suddenly the doorbell rings and she opens it.
"Maam, good morning. I have brought the dress that you custom made. Should I bring it in?"
This lifts Jisoo's mood up, she was expecting Taehyung to ask her go with him to the event but he never did. But what was gonna happen in there was way too precious to miss, so Jisoo will just have to surprise Taehyung by going there
But how does Jisoo know about the event when no one has told her anything?
A lot of research and planning and plotting.
What is going to go down in the party is beyond anyone's imagination. Good luck Taehyung and Irene, it'll be a long day for you.
