Sorry for the long wait. A lot has happened....again. But I plan on doing two chapters, one today and one tomorrow. And maybe one for Christmas. Anyways, ON WITH THE STORY.
When you woke up Terry wasn't there, You assumed he was probably working. So you got dressed and headed down stairs. Before you even got the bottom, you smelled something good. You thought it was Howe, so you decided to go and talk to him while he cooked. When you opened the door, it was not Howe who was cooking, it was Terry.
"What are you doing?" You asked confused, bc normally he was either working or talking to his friend Kreese or something.
"Making you breakfast, what else?" He said turning his head slightly to look at you. You hmmed and walked over to sit on the counter beside where he was cooking. He looked at you lifting one eyebrow, and went back to cooking.
Sooner or later he was done, it looked good, but did it taste good? It did, you almost asked for seconds realizing there was a stack of pancakes already on the table. You ate three or them. Once you guys were finished, you told him that you and Mike made plans last night at the fast food place, to hang out today. But one thing concerned you, 'he hasn't talked much this morning...' you thought.
He said ok for you to go with Mike. But then you stood up, and walked over to him, and yanked him up out of his chair, and pulled him to the couch. You sat him down and you sat beside him fully facing him.
"What's wrong." You straight up asked.
"What, nothing. I just, didn't want to upset you in anyway this morning because of last night, so I figured I'd give you space. And when you're ready if you want we can talk about, whatever it is that you were upset about."
Too stunned to speak, you pounced on him and sat in his lap while giving him a hug. "Thank you, Terry. That means a lot."
You looked at his watch catching a glimpse of the time, and you were about to be late. "Shit, I gotta go. Mike's been waiting for at least 5 minutes now."
You got up quickly putting your shoes on at the door, Terry sat at the couch just watching you through a shelf, and he gently smiled for no reason, he just liked how you could just be you most of the time. Howe opened the door and smiled down at you. And he walked you to the car to go pick up Mike.
During the whole time with Mike, you couldn't help but feel off about something. Howe and Mike both noticed.
"Would you like me to drive back home to go pick him up, y/n." Howe spoke up knowing what was wrong.
"Hm, oh. Um, if it's not to much, could you. Mike I'm sorry, it's just he was off this morning and I feel bad about just leaving him there alone. And he seemed so-" You were cut off by Mike laughing.
"It's fine, y/n. You don't have to be sorry, he can come. I don't mind. But I'm not so sure he'll like the place we're going." He said smirking.
You guys were going to the mall, mainly to go to your favorite store, but also there was this girl that always picked on you and today was the day you get back at her. But thing is, she's always surrounded by people, well today she wasn't. She worked at one of the stores at the mall. And you knew just how to get your payback.
When Howe reached the house, you told him that you would go get him. When you got inside he wasn't in the living room. 'where did he go?' you thought. You decided to check his study room, and see if he was working. He wasn't in there either, then you remembered he might be in his personal dojo.
You were right, he was there.
"Hey." You said walking to the edge of the mat. He stopped who he was fighting and looked at you. You smiled and asked him if he wanted to hang out with you and Mike.
"Thought you wanted it to be just you and him?" He said confused.
"No, you assumed. I wouldn't mind if you came. To be honest, I kinda want you to." You said kinda Shyly. He walked over to you and jumped off the mat so he was standing in front of you.
"I wish I could, love. I do, but I have work to do. And some errands to run. But maybe we could do something tonight, yeah?" He said apologetically smiling at you.
"Oh, ok. I guess we could, maybe when we get back we could talk about it." You said with a tiny bit of hope in your voice that you actually could do something with him tonight.
After you said bye to Terry and he kissed your cheek. You headed back to the car. Once you got there you told Howe that he wasn't coming and to just go ahead and go. On the way there you and Mike talked about the plan for this bitch. Once you guys were at the mall, you went to her store first. And then you saw she was working at the desk. You knew the plan wouldn't work with her out in the open, but you decided to try anyways. You and Mike to your positions and then you (whatever you want to do to someone for payback)
And you both left while laughing at her looking stupid. Howe was just across the road grocery shopping.
You and Mike were just walking around, when you got a text from a number you didn't really recognize. You opened it and you froze after you read it.
"I see you." It said with a picture of you standing in the middle of the path where everyone was walking. Infront of the store you were at. Then another text popped up.
"Dad's mad at you.😏🙄" You looked terrified at your phone. And Mike noticed, and grabbed it. He grabbed your arm and ran as fast as he could with you dragging yourself behind him. He stopped to snap you out of it and as soon as he did you were both off to the car. You called Howe, and as soon as he picked up you started yelling for him to get to the car, because you had to leave now. But before you could get to the door you were yanked back by the one person you feared would catch you. Your older brother. You tried to get him off, but nothing worked, then all of a sudden Mike punched him and he stumbled back. Mike grabbed you and you guys ran towards the car. Once you got in you yelled at Howe to go. Once you guys were on the road, you started crying and having a panic attack. And Mike tried to calm you down but you didn't realize Terry was in the car till he pulled you into his lap and started trying to soothe you. Then he looked at Mike and asked what happened. Mike started to explain everything and in that moment you realized that they knew where you were. You told Howe to pull over. He looked at you in the rearview mirror and saw how you gave him a pleading look. He hesitantly pulled over. And you got out, Terry lifted one brow and Mike told him it was better if he went to go talk to her instead of Terry.
"Hey, you ok. Well I know your not, but-" he was cut off by you hugging him.
"This is gonna sound weird, but can you stay at Terry's for a day or two?" You asked looking down at your feet. He made you look at him, and smiled at you and you knew that he would do anything to make sure you were ok and to know you were safe.
You both got back in the car and you sat between them both and laid your head on Mike's shoulder and held Terry's hand. And on the way home Mike tried to make you laugh. Once you guys got back to the house, you explained to Terry with more detail about what happened and hesitantly asked about what you needed, he got confused about why you seemed so shy or nervous about asking for something like this, but he decided that was another question for next time. He agreed to letting Mike stay for awhile. And you asked if you could talk to Terry alone. Mike said he would watch a movie while they talked and Howe would make popcorn. Seems like you guys were gonna have a movie night, to make you feel better.
You and Terry walked to another room, and you didn't say anything at first so he started.
" I know you don't wanna talk about it, but does this also have anything to do with your father?" He asked concerned. He knew it did, but he wanted to hear you say it.
"Yes. But, I think he knows I'm here, because they live all the way on the other side of the valley far from here, and I don't know how they found me and I feel like just by being here I'm putting you and Mike and Howe at risk of getting hurt, and I don't want you guys to be in pain because of me and-" you were cut off by Terry pulling you in for a hug. You lost count by now on how many times he's done that today. He pulled you back by your shoulders and said, "I promise you don't have to worry about us. Especially me, I can handle whatever he has and might do. My main concern is keeping you safe and Mike considering he is still a child. And Howe is well a little bit stronger than he appears to be." He said reassuringly, smiling at the last part.
You smiled back knowing he was right. He then looked at your facial expressions and how it changed fast.
"What?" He said knowing something was bothering you. "I'm not like him, your father, I mean. Im not gonna hurt you, leave you, or anything else he might have done. You can always talk to me, wether I'm busy or not, you need me you come talk to me. Even if it's just to eat ice cream with you." He said smiling at you for the last part which mad you chuckle and smile back at him.
"Thank you, Terry. And speaking of ice cream. Im pretty sure Howe bought some, I'll race to the kitchen to get some. Before you even got the chance to run to the door way, he grabbed your arm and pulled you into a passionate kiss (woah, that sounds super cheesy 😅) you looked stunned as he pulled back and ran towards the door, you ran after him and found him already making you a bowl of ice cream, then after you both got your ice cream, you went to the living room and saw that How'd had set three large bowls of popcorn and two plates one for candy and one for different kinds of small snacks. You sat down beside Terry and put your legs in Mike's lap, he looked at you and said "woman, do I look like a foot rest to you.?" You looked at him smirking and said yes then stuck your tongue out at him. The rest of the night was full of laughter, you honestly never felt so happy. You enjoyed being with your three favorite people. During the movies you would play a game or two to make sure no one fell asleep because you guys all agreed you would try to watch 5, movies. But on the fourth one you and Mike passed out and Terry and Howe both laughed knowing they won. And Terry let you and Mike sleep on the little beds you guys had made out of the extra cushions from the other couch. But he felt bad you guys were sleeping on the floor so he held you as Howe put the cushions back and placed you on the couch and tucked you in. Howe did the same thing for Mike. And they both kissed your forehead goodnight.
Hope you liked this chapter. I kinda like how Howe is with y/n so I plan on kinda adding him in there a lil bit more. But I wanna know if you guys like it. And I'll do my best to add another chapter either tomorrow or Monday. If I don't, I'm truly sorry. I'll do my best tho, and I know for sure that I'll do a Christmas chapter. But for now please tell me what you want to see happen, wether its with the dad and brother or something like the last few parts where they're having fun. Till the next one, Peeps.
