Sophie POV
I was awakened by a loud clang of metal and that's when the worst pain ever hit me.
I felt myself being lifted into the air and Korra besides me.
My eyes were now wide open and my whole body was cramped.
Tarrlok blood bend us towards a house and down a flight of stairs before placing us into a metal box.
"What are you doing?"Korra asked just as he lets his control over us go.
Korra landed on her feet while I fell straight on the floor still not being able to control my legs.
"Tarrlok!"Korra shouts just as he closes the door.
"Sophie's fate is all your fault, Korra.If you had just agreed with me we wouldn't be here.It's honestly a pity, she had so much potential.Now she's a victim of your incompetence."he says to Korra.
She looks at me but then bangs on the door.
"You can't keep us locked in here forever!"she shouts but he doesn't answer.
She keeps hitting the door and I find the strength to sit up against the metal wall.
"Korra, it's no use."I say and hug my knees to my chest.
She slumps against the door opposite me and looks at me with sorrow.
"Im so, so sorry ,Sophie.This is all my fault."she says and drops her head.
"Dont say that Korra, you know it's not true.We'll get out of here, I know we will."I promise and lean my head against the metal wall.
After a bit Korra try's to throw herself against the wall and shouts for someone to help us making my head hurt again.
I bury my head into my arms, trying to block out Korra so that the ringing in my ears would finally come to an end.
The feeling in my legs was slowly returning but I still couldn't stand up.
I didn't know what they put in that tea, but shit, it was strong.
Korra slumps back onto the floor and looks at me.
She closes her eyes and sighs.
Korra gets into a meditating position and takes another deep breath.
I make sure to find a comfortable spot and try not to make a single noise the whole time Korra meditates.
After a while Korra's eyes shoot open and she lets out a cheer.
"I finally connected with you, Aang."Korra says looking up.
I looked at her in surprise and smile.
"But what are you trying to tell me.A way out of this box would be nice."she carries on and looks at me.
I urge her to carry on meditating and we go back into silence leaving me with my own thoughts.
I thought about the gang and what they might be doing right now, about Mako, about Kai. Basically anything.
Thinking made me feel dizzy again and wave of tiredness hit me.
Don't you dare give up on me right now, stay strong for Korra I tell myself.
A bit of time goes by again and I felt my body slowly regain some strength.
I hadn't tried to move my legs yet to not disturb Korra's meditating and damn were they cramping.
Suddenly Korra started breathing loudly and started to shake a bit making me wonder what she was seeing right now.
I didn't dare interrupt her but hoped she was okay.
I must have fallen asleep at one point because the next time I woke up I could hear bird's singing.
Korra was still meditating making me look around with new found energy.
Sleeping helped my body fight off whatever I was given and I felt as good as new.
I looked through the gutter ceiling of the box and started counting the circles in the wooden roof above us.
I shifted my gaze to Korra when I heard her gasp.
"Aang,this whole time you were trying to warn me about, Tarrlok."she says and rubs her eyes.
She looks at me and I can see a bit of happiness return to her face when she sees me looking at her, wide awake, with a small smile.
We hear the door open and both stand up.
Well Korra stands up, I just slowly wobble my way up.
"My life is a disaster now thanks to you."he says walking closer to the box.
People have to understand that Korra isn't the cause of all their problems.
Like stop trying to blame her
"Seemed pretty shitty before, if you ask me."I say and stabilize myself with the help of Korra.
"So you're little blood bending secret is out?"Korra asks, smirking.
"And I know how you bloodbent me without a full moon.You're Yakone's son."she carries on.
I gasp in realization.
I had read about him in a book about the most dangerous people of our time and Yakone and his abilities were at the top of that list so it made sense why Tarrlok could do what he did.
"I was his son but in order too win republic city I had to become someone else.My father failed because he tried to rule the city from its rotten underbelly.My plan was perfect.I was to be the city's savior but you— you ruined everything,"he shouts.
"Tarrlok, the jig is up and you have no where to go."Korra says back.
"Oh, no.No, I'll escape and start a new life.And you two are coming with as my hostages."he says moving further away from the box.
"You'll never get away with this!"Korra shouts hitting the metal walls again.
I look up, hold onto the gutter and give it shake.
That's not gonna budge.
"Amon"we hear Tarrlok shout from the top of the stairs.
Oh you got to be kidding me.
Korra gasps and we listen to what is happening upstairs.
We hear Amon resist Tarlokk's bending and Tarrlok screams when his bending is too taken away.
Amon commands the equalists to retrieve us but to electrocute the box to knock us out before they open it.
I quickly look up again and get a idea.
I quickly take my belt out of the loops of my pants and pull it straight.
"What are you doing?"Korra asks curiously.
"My belt is something called a insulater for electricity which means it can't conduct electricity so if we pull it through the gutter and hang from it without touching any other surface in the box you won't get electrocuted."I explain while pulling it through the top of the box.
"Here Korra take it so you won't get shocked."I say and nod my head towards it.
"No you have it I have these"she says and starts unwrapping the leather straps around her arms.
I nod and pull myself up with all the arm strength I can muster, which isn't much, just as they electrocute the box.
Korra and me scream as if we are being electrocuted to not give anything away.
He electrocuted the box for a solid ten second which could have been deadly to any human.
Korra and me both fall back onto the ground.
She lays on the floor with her feet to the door and I kneel in the corner ready to jump out of here the second I can.
They open the box and the leader tells the others to tie us up but before they can do anything Korra bends fire at them from her feet and jumps out.
I follow suit but wait behind Korra to just let her do her thing.
I pick up one of the electrocuters and hit one of the equalists out of the way with it.
We run up the stairs and out of the front door.
We make eye contact with Amon and Korra bends water at him to try and give us time.
We ran as fast as we could but Amon and a few other equalist were behind us making me panick.
They can't get Korra, they just can't.
We stop at a steep drop and I realise that I have to make a decision.
I'm holding Korra back right now, She'd be faster alone, She'd be able to get away even through I won't.
I was holding her back and she was exhausted already anyway.She can't use the energy she has left on me.
We stand there for just a second before I place my hand on her shoulder.
If she knew what I was thinking she'd never take the jump.
"I'm sorry."I say and push her back, forcing her to jump.
Because of how exhausted she was, she didn't have enough time to react and so couldn't stop herself from falling.
I hear her scream my name just as I take a step forward and tighten my grin on the electrocuter.
"That was quite the sacrifice, but it's gonna be worthless, my protégé."Amon says walking closer to me.
"As long as Korra is safe, I still have hope."I say, trying to keep their eyes away from my hands.
I had broken open the electrocuter when I hit the equalists over the head and was busy rewiring it so would explode if you'd press the button.
He takes a step closer to me but I hold up the stick and point it at them.
"Not another step or—"I say before I abruptly stop when something stabs my leg and makes me scream.
They used my distraction to stab me and electrocute me to which I fell on the ground in pain.
"Welcome to the team, hotshot."I hear Kai say just as I blackout.

3rd POV
"That sounds like Naga."Mako says looking down from oogi onto the street.
Tenzin quickly redirects Oogi to where the sound came from and lands next to Naga who had Korra on her back.
"Korra!"Tenzin shouts.
"Oh, thank goodness."Tenzin says walking up to her.
"Where's Tarrlok?How did you get here?"Chief Beifong asks.
Mako pushes through them and stands in between them.
"Give her some space.Where's Sophie?"he asks Korra frantically.
Korra looks away and closes her eyes to stop the stinging in her eyes,"She didn't get out.Amon has her now.She sacrificed herself for me.I'm sorry I couldn't save her."
Mako looks up into the sky but then goes to pick up Korra off Naga.
"My sister knew what she was doing.We aren't gonna let her sacrifice be worthless.We're going to save her and destroy Amon."he says and carries Korra off.
"I was so worried, not just about Sophie but also about you.Are you alright?"Mako asks.
"I'm fine.I'm glad you're here."Korra says, snuggling closer to Mako.
Mako puts Korra in the back of the car and caresses her face.
"You're safe now."he says to her quietly.
