Everyone dreams of being the greatest at something.
May it be the greatest bender, the greatest warrior or even the greatest Avatar.
But in my case, I never had to dream of being the best, the greatest.
The spirits have blessed me with extraordinary skills, skills that would help me bring this world further, even to its limits.
And that's when it all started, that's when my destiny was written.
To be The Greatest of them all.

Igniting Their Hearts ~Zuko x OC~
Makinota was raised just outside the borders of the Northern Water Tribe for the first seven years of her life. When one day, her parents were killed and she was kidnapped by the Fire Nation. I know, its cliche. But being a mixed-blood bender in the current times, and after almost 100 years of war, all Fire Benders are considered monsters. Even the innocent ones. Makinota is just trying to find her old life. Find her purpose. And most importantly, find who she can really trust. But in the end... aren't we all? (Long chapters and irregular updates. Though, I do update and I will keep going. This book in entirely a fountain of unneeded inspiration I can't put anywhere else, and something I do when I get writers block on everything else. Still, thanks so much for reading!) (UPDADE; I'm trying my hardest to figure this out, but until then it's complete and not going anywhere until I can handle my shit. Love y'all!) {All characters and storylines belong to Michael Dante Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko, I only created Maki and the changes I made to fit her into the story.}Complete![ATLA: Book Three: Fire [Makki]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/147047025-256-k299541.jpg)

At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. An Avatar: The Last Airbender Fanfiction (Zuko X OC) "And lastly, we are free, but we are not our own persons." At this, the student frowned and looked up at her teacher. "How can that be free?" Mentored from youth by the most notorious entertainer in all of Fire Nation, Chiyo is destined to follow her path to greatness. She is a true inspiration, the reason I write. Go look at her stories, they are works of art as none I've seen before, more beautiful than a sunset and emotional than a teenage girl, yet all woven together in a cloth made of tears and smiles, truths within fantasies, and hope within darkness. That cloth is perfectly imperfect, as it was made by a human, but nothing I've ever read could be compared. Go give these works of art a try, you'll be doing yourself a favor.Complete
