You repeatedly drum your fingers on the table of Stark Towers as you narrow your eyes at the hammer on the table, Thor on the couch flipping through channels.
You've been wanting to lift that thing for months, but always walk away when the opportunity presents itself.
"Lady (Y/n), is something the matter?" Thor asks suddenly, not turning around.
"No, no. Nothing at all," You reply, your voice one or two octaves too high.
Thor sighs and turns off the tv. "Very well, Lady (Y/n). I will retired to my chambers."
You watch as he exits the room with a small smirk on your lips.
He left his hammer behind.
Once you hear his door close, you pop up from the seat and tiptoe over to the hammer, almost afraid it'd hear you approaching.
Biting your lip, you let out a breath and place a hand on the handle.
"I can do this," You murmur, looking away from the hammer as you give it a small tug. You gasp as you see the hammer in your hand, not heavy at all.
Thor chuckles softly from behind the wall, watching as you slap a hand to your mouth as you swing the hammer around. A small squeak escapes your lips as you put it down, then pick it up again.
"Oh my god!" You giggle, flopping down on the couch and running a hand through your hair.
