What a nice day!
{ Y/N's Point Of View }
You were running to Sophocles's house since you woke up a little late, Dragalge was following you quickly.
"Alola Sophocles!" You shouted
"Togedemaru?" Togedemaru said
"Alola Y/N!" Sophocles exclaimed
"Are we gonna do our research?" You asked
"Yup! Follow me!" Sophocles said
You followed Sophocles into his research lab as he took a seat at his laptop, you grabbed a chair and took a seat to.
"Em.. what do you do in here?" You asked
"Research! Me and Togedemaru also train! Charjabug and Togedemaru always train together!" Sophocles shared
"Charja!" Charjabug exclaimed
"Makes sense." You said
"What're we doing research on again?" You added
"Pokémon behaviour! Their habits and others things! And we can go shopping for food after." Sophocles exclaimed
"That sounds fun!" You said
Dragalge looked at the screen as Charjabug looked from the left.
Togedemaru hopped onto Sophocles's head and looked at the one screen illuminating the whole room dimly, too bad the lights were off.
"It says here that Dragalge are very territorial and will spit poison at anything that wanders into their territory." Sophocles read
Dragalge made noises of approval as you stared at him oddly.
"Togedemaru is a happy Pokémon that gathers electricity. When happy, Togedemaru rolls up into a ball and rolls around." Sophocles read
"What about Charjabug?" You asked
"It says... Charjabug often hides in leaf piles in the forest." Sophocles said aloud
"Charja!" Charjabug exclaimed
"Must've been really hard for Mallow and Kiawe to find you." Sophocles said
{ 2 Hours Later }
You and Sophocles were all done researching about Pokémon and their behaviour, you and him would now be going to the mall to go do some shopping with each other and Pokémon.
"Let's go Dragalge!" You exclaimed
"Charjabug! Togedemaru! Let's go!" Sophocles shouted
You and him exited his house and began to run to the mall.
Sophocles made it to the mall first as you two walked around for a little bit.
"About that Ultra Beast thing, do you really wanna find one?" You asked
"Yup! I'm really fascinated by them!" Sophocles exclaimed
"I'd love to help with that one day." You stated
You most likely would if the Aether Foundation decided to investigate Melemele even further than they have already.
You bought something for Salazzle and Sophocles bought something for his research.
"So, what is your take on the whole Guzma thing?" You asked
"I'm pretty fine about it. Guzma doesn't seem whole heartedly like a bad person in general!" Sophocles exclaimed
"Nice, he doesn't seem like one to me too. Just a little misunderstood." You stated
Sophocles was really nice and sweet in general.
"Ooh! You want some Malasada's?" Sophocles asked
"Sure!" You exclaimed
Sophocles was given enough money by his parents to pay for it so he bought 11 Malasada's, 7 for you and 4 for him.
"Thank you! I'll be sure to repay you!" You promised
"It's alright! You are my friend after all." Sophocles smiled
You smiled as you two began to walk towards the exit followed by your Pokémon.
"Togedemaru!" Togedemaru said
"Charja!" Charjabug responded
Dragalge screeched as he danced around the two Pokémon
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow at school!" Sophocles exclaimed
"Bye Togedemaru and Charjabug! See you tomorrow Sophocles!" You shouted
Dragalge waved goodbye with a kelp-like arm before taking off after you who was already down the street racing to get back home.
"Sophocles is definitely the nicest." You stated
Dragalge agreed as you opened the door to your house.
"We're back!" You exclaimed
"Salaz!" Salazzle said
"Saur!" Venusaur added
Arbok greeted you first as Toxapex and Naganadel rushed downstairs to go greet you.
"I brought Malasada's!" You exclaimed
"Arbok!" Arbok replied
You smiled as you gave your Pokémon their Malasada of choice before eating yours right beside them, you went back to thinking about if Naganadel would ever be discovered.
There were pros and cons. You could hang out with Naganadel more and they could meet all of the other Pokémon at school but the Aether Foundation might become more annoying trying to study them.
Your train of thought broke as you got a knock on the door.
"Who could that be?" You asked
You opened the door seeing a delivery man, you forgot you ordered some new Pokémon food.
"Just sign here." He stated
You signed the paper and he was on his way leaving you with quite the valuable package, at least to some Pokémon it was valuable.
"I bought you guys some new food!" You exclaimed happily
"Toxa!" Toxapex exclaimed
Salazzle watched you as you set the box down and took the Pokémon food out.
"We can try it tomorrow, you all have more than enough now!" You smiled
You set the food down as you walked upstairs with your Pokémon following you.
"Let's get some rest for tomorrow!" You smiled
"Saur!" Venusaur said
He laid down on the bed as the other Pokémon joined him, except for Naganadel of course who'd be sleeping on your bed.
You got changed into pyjamas and prepared your school bag before finally getting into bed.
You started thinking about the same topic, Naganadel being discovered.
What would your friends think? Happy or disappointed you didn't tell them? What would people out in public think? Look down on you for hiding such a big thing?
Most importantly, what would Guzma think? That you're a weak trainer for possessing a strong Pokémon to protect you? Think down on you? Be weirded out because you have an Ultra Beast as a Pokémon partner?
How would the Aether Foundation react? Would they try to take Naganadel away and into their possession, you wouldn't let that happen. Would they start to monitor you or Melemele more often because an Ultra Beast showed up and became someone's Pokémon?
If anyone found out about Naganadel's existence everything would most likely collapse.
You checked the time after zoning back in realizing it was a little late and all your Pokémon have been fast asleep for a least an hour or two.
You flipped over and got into a comfortable position where you end up falling asleep, you had a pleasant night. It was quiet and blissful which was what you preferred for every night to be.
During the night you woke up a few times to shift Naganadel's large stinger away from your body but for the rest of the time you slept soundly, undisturbed by anything.
