Follow me if you're already invested in this story because I'll keep writing similar stories in the future, and you might miss out.

Dongfang Qingcang found himself stranded in a strange new world without knowing how to return home. He only knew that the girl beside him, Meilin, was familiar with this world. He gazed at the ceiling, overwhelmed with frustration and uncertainty.

Meilin noticed Qingcang's distress and approached him, her voice laced with concern. "What's wrong?" she asked gently.

Qingcang was lost in thought. Was he doomed to be trapped in this unfamiliar world forever? He turned to Meilin and asked, "Let me ask you, did you see a portal when I arrived here?"

Meilin was startled by the question, unsure of how to respond. "Yes, I did see it," she answered hesitantly. "But it disappeared as soon as you arrived. Why do you ask?" she asked with a hint of worry, noticing the scowl on Qingcang's face.

Qingcang's flat voice betrayed his disappointment. "That portal was our way out," he explained, slightly tilting his head as he looked at Meilin with a cold expression.

Meilin was stunned by what she was hearing. 'Our way out? Our!' she thought, anxious about leaving everything and everyone she knew behind to follow this mysterious man.

As Qingcang advanced towards her, Meilin stood her ground. He had saved her twice, but his possessive behavior started grating on her nerves. "Listen, I'm grateful for your help," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "But I'm not going anywhere with you," she declared, raising her eyebrow to assert her independence.

Qingcang's gaze was intense as he looked at Meilin, his frown deepening. He reached out and gently cupped her chin, causing her to blink in surprise. "I'll say it again," he said in a deep, commanding voice. "You belong to me. From now on, you stay by my side. Do you understand?" His thumb brushed against her chin as he held her gaze, his dark eyes never leaving hers, trapping her under his unwavering gaze.

Qingcang's words were meant to be serious, but they only irritated Meilin even more. Her agitation began to bubble over as she contemplated the underlying meaning behind his possessiveness. 'It was funny and flattering at first,' she thought. 'But now, he's really annoying me.' Summoning her courage, she decided to confront him about his behavior. "Why are you being so possessive?" she demanded, her tone laced with disturbance.

Qingcang's grip on Meilin's chin loosened, and he crossed his arms over his chest. A scowl etched onto his face as he responded. "I can only keep you from danger if you're near me," he explained, his protective streak on full display. His eyes bore into hers, his expression conveying his unwavering commitment to ensuring her safety. He could not bear the thought of his life being tied to a weak race.

"Safe from what?" Meilin retorted, her eyes blazing intensely with defiance. "From you? You're the most dangerous person I've ever met!" she exclaimed, her scowl deepening as she locked eyes with Qingcang.

Qingcang released a short grunt of disdain. In a matter of seconds, he began to dissipate his armor, and soon he was no longer dressed in his intimidating battle gear. Instead, he wore a sleek black suit with a golden belt and a flowing black lace cloak. The other difference was his headpiece, which was more stylish, tucked behind his head, and less frightening than his previous headpiece.

Meilin responded with a scoff, impressed by Qingcang's swift transformation. Despite the intensity of their earlier discussion, she could not help but feel a twinge of envy at his ability to change outfits so quickly and effortlessly. She often spent long minutes in front of her closet trying to decide on the perfect look, in contrast to Qingcang's ease. She sighed, thinking about how much easier life would be if she had the same ability.

Meilin walked over to the couch in her room and comfortably seated herself. She reached for her smartphone on the nearby table and spoke up. "Anyway, I'm feeling quite tired, and I think it's time for me to get some rest," she said softly and a little wearily. "It's midnight, and since you're a man, I don't think it's appropriate for you to stay in my home any longer. Because you saved me earlier, I'd like to repay you by finding a hotel for you to spend the night in." She looked up from her phone with a nervous smile, waiting for Qingcang's response.

"A hotel?" Qingcang asked as he stood before Meilin, his stern expression never faltering even as she suggested finding a hotel.

Meilin quickly realized that obtaining a hotel room for Qingcang would only be possible with proper identification or a passport. She slapped her forehead in despair, realizing her mistake. "Maybe not... you don't have anything to identify yourself, do you? You're not human, are you?" Meilin asked suspiciously, her gaze fixed on him.

"No," Qingcang replied, his expression unchanged and his tone emotionless.

Meilin could not help but think to herself, 'That's what I thought... I would have freaked out about this if I'd never seen otherworldly beings before, but encountering monsters has become my second nature.' She was well-accustomed to facing beings from other worlds lately. But Qingcang was different, and an aura of power surrounding him made her curious.

As Qingcang broke eye contact with Meilin, his gaze wandered down to her neck, where he noticed something unusual. The bruise that had been present just moments before was now gone as if it had never existed. He gave her a questioning look, his eyes filled with suspicion. 'Strange,' he thought. 'I saw that bruise when I saved her life the first time. Could she have been responsible for its disappearance?' He thought and lowered his eyes to his hand, surprised to see a missing childhood scar. It was a reminder of a time when his father had forced him to train with an iron sword instead of the wooden one he was used to. 'It's... gone,' he thought and looked back up at her, his suspicion growing. "What are you?" he asked, his voice stern.

Meilin was taken aback by Qingcang's sudden change in demeanor. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice confused.

Qingcang approached Meilin, his eyes never leaving her face. With a flick of his finger, he forced her to stand up as if something invisible was lifting her. She gasped in surprise, feeling like an unseen force was lifting her. He looked at her suspiciously and said, "It seems I've underestimated you, little human. Not only are you the key to my return home, but you also possess the ability to heal yourself and remove scars. What are you?"

Meilin's heart was pounding as she stood before Dongfang Qingcang. "I'm just a human," she protested, shocked by his accusations, her voice shaking with fear. "I have no superpowers or any abilities like you do."

Qingcang's expression grew darker, and his voice became cold and menacing as he warned Meilin, "If you play dumb with me again, I'll burn your house to the ground."

Meilin's mind raced as she tried to comprehend what was happening. As she struggled to find the right words, Qingcang's fierce scrutiny increased, causing her to blink in shock. "I don't know what you're talking about," she managed to say, her voice shaking.

Qingcang's eyes narrowed as he studied Meilin. He felt that she was hiding something from him, but he could not quite grasp it. "You're not lying?" he asked, his voice cold and unyielding.

Meilin felt a surge of terror grip her. She knew that Qingcang was not human and that his reactions were unpredictable. He had powers she had never seen before and could quickly kill dark beings. She was at his mercy, held captive in her own home. Tears began to flow down her face as she tried to convince him of her innocence. "I'm telling the truth," she said, her voice trembling with fear. "I'm just a normal human being, I swear." Her sobs echoed loudly through the room as she buried her face in her hands.

Dongfang Qingcang was utterly shocked by his sudden emotions. He felt warm tears forming in his eyes; before he knew it, they were streaming down his face. He reached up and touched a tear, feeling bewildered. "This tear... it's her..." he muttered to himself.

Meilin was beside herself with tears and bitterness as she realized how much Qingcang had disrupted her life. "Ever since I met you, my life has fallen apart," she cried out through her sobs. "First, I had a terrible night, then I stumbled into that portal and was scared for my life, and now you're threatening to burn down the house I worked so hard to buy. You're such a jerk!" she exclaimed through her overly loud sobs.

Qingcang's nostrils flared as he struggled to contain his mental pain. He could sense all of Meilin's emotions and struggled to deal with them. Her emotions overwhelmed him as if he was trapped and drowning in a sea of her feelings. 'Why can't she keep her feelings in check?' he thought irritably. 'My life is not the only thing at her mercy; I also have to feel what she feels... and she's a crybaby,' he thought to himself as he tried to maintain his composure. "Don't cry..." he said, trying to calm her down.

But Meilin was beyond consoling. Her face twisted into a scowl as she boomed, "YOU'RE SUCH A JERK!" Her eyes squeezed shut, tears streaming down her face.

Qingcang felt a twinge of uneasiness at Meilin's outburst. "Stop!" he commanded firmly, assertively trying to suppress her fury.

But Meilin's sobs only grew louder and more furious, her eyes tightly closed and tears streaming down her face. She clutched her chest, gasping for breath as she shouted, "I WANT YOU TO ACT NICER TO ME!"

Qingcang felt overwhelmed and defeated by Meilin's unrestrained outburst. "Fine! Just stop!" he yelled, his voice trembling with frustration. 'I'm a tyrant feared by all and the strongest in the three realms. How am I being controlled by this Silly Little Human?'

Meilin's sobs slowly quieted, and she was about to face Qingcang with the red and puffy eyes that she ended up having.

Qingcang felt uncomfortable about the tears that had earlier flowed down his cheeks. As he saw that Meilin was about to cast a look in his direction, he quickly looked away and wiped his eyes discreetly. He did not want her to see his pathetic tears and wanted to maintain his dignity.

"Wipe your face," Qingcang instructed Meilin, his tone now calm and collected as if he had not just lost control of his emotions.

Meilin sat on the couch, her body trembling as she tried to contain her tears. She had never been so scared in her life. This mysterious man had just threatened her, and she knew he had the power to carry it out. "Promise me that you'll never threaten me again," she implored, her voice shaking with fear as she wiped away her tears.

Qingcang sighed, feeling the weight of her request. He was a powerful being, the lord of the three realms, and his promises were binding, but he never expected to make one to a mere human. He gazed down at Meilin, taking in her fragile frame and trembling form. "I promise," he declared with confidence.

Meilin gazed at Qingcang with pleading eyes, and he could feel the desperation in her gaze. "And promise to be genuinely kind to me," she said softly, barely above a whisper.

Qingcang scowled at her request; his brow furrowed in irritation. Being genuinely nice to someone went against everything he stood for. He was the feared Moon Supreme, and being friendly from the bottom of his heart was not in his nature. "Don't push your luck," he growled, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Meilin. He had only agreed to be nicer to her, not to become a completely different person. The thought of having to be nice made his blood boil, and he was not about to let her have the upper hand. He would not be controlled by her or anyone else.

Meilin raised an eyebrow, undisturbed by his reaction. "Fine... How can I trust that you will keep your promise?" she asked, her voice now calm and steady.

"I am the Moon Supreme, and I always keep my promises. You have my word," Qingcang said, his voice steady and reassuring.

Meilin's eyes widened and blinked twice, trying to process the information. She had never heard of a Moon Supreme before, but it was clearly an important title. Judging from Qingcang's demeanor and attire, it was clear that he held a high position in his world. His long, flowing robes were made of the finest material, and his long, dark-brown hair was tied back in an elaborate knot adorned with an otherworldly headpiece.

Meilin nodded, satisfied with Qingcang's response, and tried to regain her composure. "Okay... Then let's start over," she whispered, barely audible.

"Very well. How did your neck heal so quickly?" Qingcang asked, trying to sound calm and collected instead of frightening Meilin.

Meilin was taken aback by Qingcang's question. She reached up to touch her neck, amazed that the pain where the dark being strangled her had disappeared. "What do you mean?" she asked in surprise.

"Remember when that creature attacked you in the portal?" Qingcang prompted. "Your neck was badly bruised, and you could barely speak, let alone shout like a crybaby. Yet now, you seem perfectly fine."

Meilin's mind raced as she tried to come up with an explanation. "I have no idea how it happened," she responded, still shocked. "Maybe it was the portal that caused the healing... But I'm tired now, and I want to rest. Maybe tomorrow, I'll think of the reason."

Qingcang's eyes narrowed as he regarded Meilin. "Rest?" he repeated, his tone incredulous. "We don't have time for rest. I will find a way to open the portal to my world, and you, little human, will collaborate."

Meilin felt a surge of tension rising in her chest. "But it's late, and I've already been in danger twice," she protested. "How can I keep going like this?"

Qingcang stood there as he silently listened to Meilin's words. He let out a deep sigh before speaking, "Fair enough. We'll sleep for tonight, then."

Meilin furrowed her brows, confusion, and worry etched on her face. "Sleep? You? Wait, are you planning to sleep here?" she asked, looking at Qingcang with a mixture of disbelief and concern.

Qingcang raised an eyebrow, giving Meilin a look that seemed to say 'what do you think?'

Meilin looked at Qingcang as if he was crazy, and her voice turned arrogant as she responded. "You can't stay here! Leave," she exclaimed, her voice rising with every word.

Qingcang's expression was stern as he replied, "That's fine. Where would you like to spend the night with me?" He raised an eyebrow as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Meilin could not believe what she was hearing. "Spend the night...with you?" she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. Qingcang's gaze softened as he looked at her, making Meilin wonder if he had ulterior motives. "Are you crazy?" she boldly asked, her tone laced with arrogance, and he responded with a slim frown. "I'm not going anywhere with you." She tried to calm her racing thoughts. 'What have I gotten myself into?' she thought.

Qingcang sighed in frustration as Meilin studied his every movement and facial expression, his arms still firmly crossed. "Let me make this clear," he began, leaning in closer to her, narrowing the distance between them. She noticed his every movement and how close he stood in front of her before he continued speaking, "You're mine. I won't let you out of my sight." Meilin gave him a look as if he had lost his mind. "You sleep with me," Qingcang stated in a deep, menacing voice.

Oh, I had SO MUCH fun writing this chapter, haha. Dongfang Qingcang is so innocent and naive when it comes to girls; it's so funny that he doesn't even know what he's saying. Lol. Anyways, please leave a comment and give this a vote to help me out if you want. I'd appreciate it a lot!
