With the capture of Xerosic and the destruction of (Y/n)'s hand, we see our said protagonist leaving Hotel Richissime fiddling with the bandage on her injured hand as Zoroark with an illusion stops her doing so, but enough of that lets get on with the meat and potatoes
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
Zoroark: can you stop fiddling with it for 5 minutes, please
(Y/n): well soorry, it's just really itchy
Zoroark: by Arecus, be grateful that you didn't break your hand during your outburst
(Y/n): it wasn't that bad
Zoroark: you collapsed due to minor blood loss! How are you so calm about all this?! Not to mention you jumped off the 5th story of the Hotel we just stayed the night at!
(Y/n): you're being over dramatic, I'm fine
Zoroark just lets out a groan, then my Holocaster chimes saying that I've got a message
(Y/n): now who could be messaging me? *checks the message info* Oh, it's from Emma *opens the message*
Emma (Holocaster): hello, (Y/n). Can you hear me? It's me, Emma. I have incredible news for you, so please come to the Looker Bureau!
(Y/n): *closes the message and puts away her Holocaster* well looks like we're needed at the bureau
Zoroark: just don't do anything stupid, ok?
(Y/n): I'll be fine
Zoroark just rolls her eyes and dispels her illusion then I return her into her ball, then after that I make my way to the bureau and once I enter Emma notices me
Emma: finally, (Y/n)! What took you so long?
(Y/n): slept through my alarms. One being my Pokétch and the other being Zoroark pushing my off the bed
Emma: guess what!
(Y/n): what?
Emma: Mr. Looker is getting out of the Hospital! Finally! I wanted all of us to be here to welcome him home!
(Y/n): hat's excellent news!
Mimi: *walks into the building holding something* Murrr-murrrrrr...
Emma: *looks down at Mimi* oh! Mimi, you're back! Come on, Mimi! You're part of the of the welcome party, too!
Mimi: Mrawr! Murrr-rrrawr!
Emma: huh? What's wrong with Mimi?
(Y/n): *notice what Mimi is holding* looks like Mimi is holding something
Mimi: Mrrrawr! *hands what it's holding to Emma*
Emma: it's...a letter? It's from Mr. Looker. (Y/n)... I'll read it out loud, ok?
(Y/n): sure
Emma: *takes a deep breath* "to my dearest friends... I must but a moment of your time. It is I, the great detective Looker. I write today because there is something I must confess to you. This is confidential! Top secret! I am not a private detective at all but an officer of the International Police! You are shocked, of course. My hard-boiled detective act was brilliantly flawless, after all. But I know you have been worrying about my long 'hospital stay' and the strange 'illness' that kept me there. The truth is--I am the very picture of health! My hospital stay was a ruse to keep you all from harm's way. My intentions were only the best, but it was still a lie, for which humbly apologise." "However, my friends, there is another reason for this letter. And so request of you just a minute or two more. I came to this region for an investigation. Detective Officer Looker was on the case! And indeed... thanks to yours truly the case is now closed. My greatness prevailed! I cheer! And yet... it also means my time in Kalos is done. I must say good-bye to this lovely region. Emma: *tears form in her eyes* wh-what is this... is he joking? What's this "International Police"? H-he wouldn't go and leave us, would he? Why...?
(Y/n): *brings Emma into a hug which Emma returns* I wish I knew kid, I really do
Emma: could he leave without even saying a word to us?! It can't be... he can't go... I don't want him to go off somewhere without us! *breaks the hug with (Y/n) and drys her tears* He can't have gotten far yet, right? *(Y/n) only shrugs* (Y/n)! I'm going after him! *Emma dashes out of the building*
Mimi: Mrrraaawwwrrr!!! *runs after Emma*
(Y/n): damn it you two!
I to run after two but I bump into Nix whom helps me catch my balance
Nix: wotcher! How's it going, (Y/n)? I was bored, so I came over! Eh, when I was comin' in just now, Emma were tearin' out in a hurry! Somethink happenin'?
(Y/n): sorry Nix, but I don't have time to chat! I need to catch up to Emma!
Nix: now you're gonna up and leave, too?! I came all the way over here to visit! Why you all gotta be so cold like that? An' even old man Looker! *(Y/n) stops in her tracks* When I just ran into him, he said he had to go to the Lumiose Museum and totally blew me off without another word!
(Y/n): thanks Nix, also something has come up so you stay here for now, just don't break anything, ok? Good!
With that I leave the building and sprint towards the museum and once I enter the museum I pay the fee and head up to the third floor and see the museum director
Director: oh! You're that curious young lady who came the last time... well, the repairs to that mural have been completed now. And the police officer who just left told me that the suspect has been apprehended
(Y/n): did the officer say where they were going?
The Director just shove his head making let a sigh of disappointment out as I make my way back down to the ground floor and once I reach the front desk I hand back their guidance speaker device, then the artist that I talked to when the mural was vandalised approaches me
Artist oh! You're that same kid who came before to see the mural! The criminal responsible was caught--did you know? *(Y/n) just nods* I overheard the director of the museum talking with the police! But still...it sure was odd... why do you think that police officer looked so sad when he walked out of here?
(Y/n): don't know, it'll be a mystery till the end of time
I lied naturally as I breathed, knowing fully well why Looker looked sad and as I left the museum my Holocaster goes off so I pull it out and see who it's from and it is from Emma
Emma: (Y/n)! I just got a message from Xerosic! He's with Looker at Lysandre Café! I'm going to take Mimi there! Hurry and join us!
With that I pocket my Holocaster and hail a taxi and pay the fee to get to Lysandre Café, once I get there I enter the café to see Looker and Xerosic talking about something
Xerosic: I'm telling you I gave them back! Every last one of them!
Looker: ...fine. If you really say that you returned all the Pokéballs that Essentia stole...
Xerosic: and I did! I returned them! And I'm turning myself in without a fight, so just give me a minute!
Looker: there is no minute to give you! Our train is about to depart!
Xerosic: *faces towards the door* haha! Here they come!
Looker: *faces to where Xerosic is looking and notices (Y/n) walking towards him* what? (Y/n)! Wh-why are you here?!
Xerosic: because I contacted Emma, of course! I'm sure she'll be here any minute, too!
Emma: WHERE IS HE? HOLD ON! WAIT FOR ME, MR. LOOKER! *rushes into the café*
Xerosic: good timing, Emma!
Emma: oh, Dr. Xerosic! Thanks for your message! *walks closer to Looker* Mr. Looker, I've been searching everywhere for you! Please t-tell me why, please... why did you lie to us? Why are you leaving us behind? *tears swell in her eyes*
Looker: I...I'm sorry, Emma... but my letter explains everything. I work for the International Police! I am a globe-trotting, crime-fighting elite! Wherever there is a case, I must go! Justice awaits!
Emma: then take me and Mimi with you. We'll join whatever police! *wiped tears from her eyes* We can be police or anything--if only we can stay together!
Looker: Emma, I wish it could be like that. You can't come. It's not possible at all
Emma: why not?! Why can't we?! I'm part of the Looker Bureau, too! I'm your assistant, aren't I?!
Looker: in fact, the time has come for you to graduate from being my assistant. As of this moment, I name you head of the Looker Bureau!
Emma: wh-what? *tears start rolling down her cheeks*
Looker: listen to me, Emma. You were born and raised in this fair city. Every day of your life, you have been here. You are the only one that knows this city inside and out. No one else could do the things you can do for it! I pass my torch of brilliant detective-ing to you! Take my place and keep protecting the peace of Lumiose City!
Emma: but that's not fair at all! *faces towards (Y/n)* Come on, (Y/n)! Say something! Tell him he's wrong!
(Y/n): *let's out a sigh* I get where you're coming from Emma, I really do. But Looker needs to keep moving otherwise somewhere else terrible things could happen
Looker: Emma, (Y/n) is right, so please, I must ask you to respect the necessity of my decision. (Y/n) understands perfectly why I must go. It is the way of partners. She is my partner. We understand each other
Mimi: Mrrrawrrr...
Looker: oh, Mimi... please don't make a sad face on my account. No matter where I go, our bonds will never change. You will be my dear friends from the Looker Bureau, always and forever
Xerosic: yes! That is it! Bonds! The preposterous notion which cannot be seen nor measured! And yet I cannot deny that they do still exist! Fear not, Emma, for I suspect that you will always be tied to the International Police by your bonds!
Emma: Dr. Xerosic...
Xerosic: Emma! I give you my Expansion Suit! I have removed the remote-control functionality, so you needn't worry! As the new head detective in town, please use your powers as Essentia to protect your beloved Lumiose City! And...and... please take all of the Pokémon that I raised for so long! They are yours now!
Emma: Dr. Xerosic... Dr. Xerosic, you've tried to do terrible things to the world, I guess. I find it hard to see you as that kind of person. I only became a Pokémon Trainer thanks to your being there for me. ... ... ... I will always cherish your Pokémon and your suit, Dr. Xerosic. I won't forget our bonds, either...
Looker: everyone... I'm sorry, but... we are nearly out time. Our train is due to depart
Emma: Mr. Looker... I think I understand... and I know what I'm gonna do. I'll keep working hard for you. I've got Mimi and (Y/n) to help me. With Dr. Xerosic's Pokémon and Expansion suit, I will become the new head of the Looker Bureau!
Looker: *gives a small smile* I leave it in your hands, Emma! I'll rest easy, knowing you're on the case!
Xerosic: Emma! Don't you mess this up, my girl!
Looker: ahem... (Y/n)! Emma! Mimi! I entrust to you three the great task of protecting the peace of Lumiose City! *walks towards the exit* Thank you for everything! Farewell, my friends! *both Looker and Xerosic leave the café*
Emma: thank you... and goodbye...
(Y/n): let's head back to bureau, so you can sort yourself, then let's go shopping
Emma just nods at me as we head back to bureau with Mimi in tow
Narrator's p.o.v
Once the two made it back to the bureau, as we see Emma organising her new desk then she puts down a photo of Looker, (Y/n), herself and Xerosic standing side-by-side then let's out a sigh of relief
Emma: that's enough... *walks towards Mimi*
Mimi: Muuurrrawr...
Emma: hey, Mimi? You know, we've made a lot of really good friends since we left the alleys... Miss (Y/n) and Mr. Looker... and Dr. Xerosic, too...
Mimi: Mrawr! Mrawwr!
Emma: Mimi... those two old guys really did everything for us... do you think that's what it's like...to have a father?
Mimi: Mrawr?
Emma: hehehe... nothing. Never mind. Of course you wouldn't know any better then me, Mimi. But...I'm still glad. I'm glad we got to meet them

Emma: let's go meet up with (Y/n), she's taking us shopping!!

With that the two leave the the bureau and see (Y/n) waiting waiting patiently
(Y/n): so, you two ready?

With that the trio make there to the supermarket only bumping into a familiar trio
Green: oh hey, (Y/n)!
(Y/n): *Emma and Mimislightly hides behind (Y/n)* hey you three
Blue: any news on that Pokémon Village?
(Y/n): yep, we can battle there, under Wulfric watch
Blue: awesome! Ya hear that Red?! *Red nods with a smile*
Green: by the way (Y/n), who's that behind you?
(Y/n): that's just Emma and Mimi, sorry about them,they're just shy when it comes to new people
Green: that's understandable, we'll it was nice meeting you, see you at the Pokémon Village
Blue: smell ya later, (Y/n) *Red just waves goodbye*
After that (Y/n), Emma and Mimi continue their way towards the supermarket then Emma speaks about something
Emma: hey, um... (Y/n). Who were they?
(Y/n): that's just Red, Green and Blue. They're from the Kanto region and Red and his team are said to be really strong, so I'm going to battle him
Emma: whoah! Can Mimi and I come watch!
(Y/n): sure, I don't see why not
Mimi: Mrawr!
Emma: awesome!
(Y/n) laughs a little at the duo's enthusiasm as they continue their way to the supermarket and that ends today's chapter I hoped that you enjoyed it and I hope to see you soon bye bye
