The Pokémon school had been cancelled due to a Pokémon problem but you still would be going out to the market with your new friends and Toxapex.
"Toxa!" Toxapex exclaimed
You were already out the door since your Pokémon stayed in their poke balls.
You fixed your hat before walking towards the group who was near one of the well known shops.
"Alola!" You said
"Alola Y/N!" Sophocles exclaimed
"Toxa! Toxapex!" Toxapex said
"A shiny Toxapex!" Lillie pointed out
"Awesome!" Mallow complimented
"It looks just like how I remember it!" Lana said
"I never expected to see one today." Kiawe stated
Toxapex seemed very happy about the your group of friends complimenting him, You would be too if you were him.
"Turta!" Turtonator said
"Vul! Vul!" Snowy exclaimed
You looked off into the distance seeing three people and three Pokémon being a short guy with dark hair and a Garbodor, a guy with bright blue hair and a Salandit and a girl with bright pink hair and a Zubat.
They looked like trouble but you ignored it.
"Toxapex!" Toxapex said
"Turta..." Turtonator replied
"Steenee!" Steenee added
"Charja!" Charjabug exclaimed
"Come on Lillie! Over here looks cool!" Mallow shouted
"Shopping..." Sophocles groaned
Togedemaru giggled before rolling around her trainer rapidly.
You looked over your shoulder back at the three and their Pokémon, they were also eyeing you.
You realized Toxapex had wandered off towards a garbage can.
"I'll be right back!" You informed
"Me and Sophocles will head inside." Kiawe stated
"Toxa!" Toxapex said
"Come on Toxapex, we're gonna do some shopping with everyone and maybe we'll get something for you!" You exclaimed
"Hey!" Someone said
"Hand us that Pokémon!" Another ordered
You looked up seeing those same people and Pokémon, team skull grunts. Personally, this was your first encounter with them and they seemed pretty annoying.
"Woah! You look like the boss!" The same one with blue hair said
You had recognized these grunts since they were all over Alola. Tupp was the one with bright blue hair and a salandit, Rapp was the one with bright pink hair and a Zubat while the shorter one was Zipp and he had a Garbodor.
"On track Tupp! We need to get that pretty pink Toxapex!" Rapp shouted
"Yeah!" Zipp added
"Okay, okay!" Tupp yelled
"Salandit..." Salandit said
"Tell you what. I'll battle you for it. I lose, take Toxapex. You lose, you leave." You stated
Even if you did lose Toxapex wouldn't leave but you had a feeling losing is highly unlikely.
"Go Zubat!" Rapp yelled
"Go Salandit!" Tupp shouted
"Go Garbodor!" Zipp ordered
Toxapex stepped on the battle field, good thing they started the fight in an open area on the beach or this wouldn't be safe for nearby domestic Pokémon.
"Salandit! Use Venom Drench!" Tupp called
"Zubat! Use Air Slash!" Rapp ordered
"Garbodor! Use Pound!" Zipp said
They really knew how to battle, it was unfair with one Pokémon but you'd gladly take the opportunity to battle.
"Toxapex, use Liquidation!" You said
You were calm with move orders, why did people yell so aggressively?
It struck Zubat who was immediately weakened.
"Garbodor! Use Sludge Bomb!" Zipp yelled
"Quick, use Baneful Bunker!" You exclaimed
Toxapex formed something that'd defend him from sludge bomb and it was quite affective.
"Back into action using pin missile on Zubat!" You said
"Salandit, use Ember!" Tupp said
Toxapex took down Zubat but endured the move Ember in the process.
"Zubat!" Rapp cried
She seemed to care, good to know they don't abuse there Pokémon.
"Toxapex, use Poison Jab!" You called
"Toxapex!" Toxapex exclaimed
"Garbodor, use Toxic Spikes!" Zipp ordered
Both were direct hits doing quite the amount of damage to the other.
"Toxapex, use Recover!" You said
Toxapex gained health and was now ready for more.
"Use Double Slap!" Tupp yelled
"Salandit!" Salandit exclaimed
"Y/N! Over here!" Lillie shouted
You looked over seeing everyone watching, now, this battle wasn't for show but you were sure Toxapex was gonna show off.
"Toxapex, use a series of Liquidation on Garbodor!" You said
"Toxa!" Toxapex replied
Garbodor was knocked back into Zipp's arms obviously unable to battle.
"Finish it Salandit using Venoshock!" Tupp shouted
"Toxapex! Defend yourself using Baneful Bunker and then Pin Missile!" You quickly called
"Wait!" Tupp yelled
Too late.
Salandit was knocked onto the ground and unable to battle.
"Salandit..." Salandit groaned
Toxapex ran happily to you and jumped up to give a high five, you did but made sure to avoid any obvious spikes.
"Vul!" Snowy said
"We'll be back!" Tupp yelled
They all ran off with their Pokémon, most likely to Nurse Joy.
"Toxapex! Toxapex!" Toxapex exclaimed
"You did so good buddy!" You praised
"That was awesome!" Mallow yelled while running over
"Steenee!" Steenee agreed
"I must say, fighting with Poison Types must be fun." Kiawe said
"Turta!" Turtonator exclaimed
"Sure is!" You said
"Can't wait to battle with you!" Lana said
"And I can't wait to analyze it!" Sophocles admitted
{ An Hour Later }
You were back at home after finishing the shopping spree but you were still thinking, who was their boss that I looked like?
You got it off your mind when Venusaur came over and laid down beside you near the couch.
"Saur." Venusaur said
"Arbok!" Arbok exclaimed
Naganadel hovered beside you happily, Salazzle was laying down beside Arbok and Dragalge was flying near Toxapex.
"Salaz..." Salazzle said
"Tomorrow I'll be taking Arbok with me to school, isn't that exciting?" You asked
"Arbok!" Arbok hissed
"You're gonna love it there! After I'll take Venusaur and then Salazzle." You reassured
You smiled while looking out the window and the same train of thought came back, who did you look like and why? It was normal for people to have lookalikes but you figured you two were very different ages.
I mean, even Kukui and some team skull grunts said you looked like someone.
You laid down on the couch beside Toxapex and yawned.
Naganadel laid down on the ground while making sure they weren't stepping on anything.
You eventually ended up falling asleep on the couch since you had gotten quite tired and too lazy to move, not even your Pokémon wanted to move you either. They'd probably end up falling asleep near you too because they seemed so absorbed by the tv and you sleeping there is an excuse to watch it even more. The thought still wouldn't go away but you'd deal with that in the morning, if you even had the strength to fight thinking about the lingering thought brought up often.
