"So!" Tina cheered, leaning forward on her seat in the choir room, draping her arms around Faith. "Halloween Horror Movie Night Friday, right?"

Faith scoffed out a laugh, leaning her head back so it could rest on Tina's shoulder as she nodded. "Hell yeah." She snickered before turning to Artie, giving him an evil smile.

"This is my year to scare you." Faith taunted, poking Artie's shoulder. Artie quickly slapped Faiths hand away, making Sam laugh, looking between Faith, Artie, Tina and Mike.

"A what?" He asked and Artie smiled, rolling closer to Sam, draping an arm across the blondes shoulders as he nodded to Faith. "Every Halloween since I've been friends with Faith and Tina, we've had a movie night at Faiths house. We'd watch horror movies and during it, Faith will try to scare us. We let Mike start coming last year because he and Matt had nothing to do on Halloween."

"Who's Matt?" Sam asked, his brows furrowed.

"Old glee member. He transferred." Mike answered, nodding his head solemnly as he frowned thinking about his old friend.

"Oh, we'll uh... I'm sorry about Matt." Sam said, giving Mike a sympathetic smile before turning to the other three. "But that movie night sounds really cool!"

"Well, you should come!" Artie offered, a big smile on his face. Sam's eyes immediately widened and he shook his head, laughing. "What? No. I don't want to barge in on your thing!"

Faith gave Sam a reassuring smile, bumping his shoulder with hers. "No! You should come! Plus, I can try and scare you."

Sam scoffed, lookin away from Faith. "I don't get scared."

"It could be an initiation..." Artie gasped, an evil smile on his lips as he twiddled his fingers. "If you don't get scared, you are officially welcomed into the group." Artie taunted in a low, villian-like voice.

Faith turned to Artie at his words, raising her brows at him. "Artie, you get scared!"

Artie immediately whipped his head to Faith, not liking that she was ruining his street cred by the second. Before he could say anything else to Faith, Mr. Schue walked in with a big smile,

"Great news, guys. I've had a little inspiration. This week's musical lesson isn't really a lesson. It's a musical." Mr. Schue announced.

Rachel let out a loud gasp, making Faith jump, thinking something was wrong. When she turned to Rachel, she saw her head tilted up and her eyes closed as she muttered. "Oh, please be Evita, please be Evita..."

Faith quickly mimicked Rachel's stance, facing the air with her eyes closed. "Please don't be whatever Rachel wants. Please don't be whatever Rachel wants." Faith whispered. Since her eyes were closed, she couldn't see Rachel turn to her with a glare.

"Rocky Horror!" Mr. Schue yelled. Faith's eyes flew open in shock. Rachel instantly raised her hand. "Mr. Schue? While I admire your choice of the groundbreaking '70s musical, aren't you worried that the adult themes might be a point of controversy?"

Kurt nodded his head, turning to Rachel to agree. "Seriously. A school in Texas couldn't even do rent. It caused an outrage and they had to cancel the show."

"Isn't that the whole point of the arts? Pushing boundaries, doing things people say you can't do for the sake of self-expression? I got it all figured out. I cut out some of the more risqu? sections. And I'm sending home permission slips to all your parents to make sure that they're okay with it. And we're going to charge admission and use the proceeds to help pay for transportation to nationals in New York. Now, let's talk about casting." Mr. Schue explained.

Rachel immediately shot her hand in the air again.  "Finn and I will play Brad and Janet."

Faith rolled her eyes and leaned forward in her chair so she could see Rachel and glare at her. "Who says you get to be Janet?" Rachel opened her mouth to defend herself but Mr. Schue turned to Faith and spoke up before Rachel could.

"I... actually already had a job for you, Faith." Mr. Schue said, making Faith look away from Rachel and to Mr. Schue.

"I want you to direct." He said. Faith smiled. She slowly pointed at herself, slightly in shock that Mr. Schue wanted to show off students talents that aren't Rachel and Finn. "By myself?"

Mr. Schue shrugged. "Think of me as your assistant director. Mr. Mitchell always says how well your student films are so I want to see you do that in real life."

"I'll be playing the guy in the wheelchair, right?" Artie asked, raising his hand disappointedly and Mr. Schue pointed at Artie. "That's what I was thinking." He said before turning to Kurt. "And I thought Kurt could play the role of Frank-n-furter."

Kurt immediately shook his head, waving a finger at Mr. Schue's offer. "No." He started, making Mr. Schue's jaw drop. "There's no way I'm not gonna go on stage in high heels and fishnets and wearing lipstick."

"Why? Cause that look was last season?" Santana snarked out, turning to Kurt with raised brows.

Kurt shook Santana off, rolling his eyes at her. Before he could open his mouth to counter her, a voice spoke up.

"I'll do it."

Faiths eyes doubled in size as she spun around in her seat to look at Mike behind her. "Really?" Faith asked, a big smile on her face as Tina watched Mike cautiously.

"It's the male lead. You know that, right?" She asked and Mike slowly started to smile, shrugging his shoulders. "I know, but I'm feeling a little more confident about my singing voice after our duets project."

Mr. Schue clapping his hands made Faith turn back around in her seat to look at him. The teacher pointed at Mike in excitement. "Great! I have no problem with that. Now, we're a little short on female roles, so we're going to have to double up on columbias and magentas."

"It's standard practice on Broadway. It'll preserve your voices." Rachel added.

Faith rolled her eyes at Rachel acting like none of the glee kids knew anything. Her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned forward in her seat to glare at Rachel. "You know, you don't have to always act like you're the only one that know everything."

"I'd like to preserve you. In a jar. In my basement. And throw away the key.." Mercedes added on after Faith and the whole class started to laugh.

"Sam." Mr. Schue started, making Sam's brows raised. "I'd like you to play the role of the creature."

"From... the black lagoon?" Sam asked, a small smile on his face. Faith hesitated. She couldn't tell if he was joking or not but after a few seconds, she shook her head and grabbed his hand that was resting in his thigh.

"Rocky. He's like the Frankenstein character, but blond. You'll kill the part. He's cute, so it's good casting." Faith shrugged out as Sam stared at her with an awed look. She just called him cute. He was practically making a list in his head of what Faiths called him; first pretty and now cute.

Faith looked down at her hand still holding Sam's and felt her face redden. She quickly let go of Sam's hand and turned back forward so her hair would cover her face from Sam's view incase she was turning red.

"Better start working on those abs." Santana commented and Sam snapped out of his stare, scoffing at Santanas words. "Are you kidding me? You could cut glass with these babies. I have no problem showing off my body." Sam said, running his hand over his abs.

"Okay! Looks like we got ourselves a show!" Mr. Schue yelled and the whole class erupted in excitement. Under all the cheers, Sam leaned towards Faith.

"I've never seen Rocky Horror." Sam whispered.

Faith turned to Sam, their faces inches away from each other since Sam had just whispered in her ear, but neither of them moved as she gave him a reassuring smile and a shrug. "Don't worry, I have it on DVD. We can watch it at my place after school if you want."

Faith turned back to the front of the class, raising her hand to ask Mr. Schue directing questions as Sam watched her with a dreamy look on his face.

"Sweet." He answered, but his voice was barely audible. All that was rushing through his head that was he was going to Faiths house.

...

By the end of the school day, Mr. Schue told Faith that Coach Sylvester made a rewritten script to fix anything she didn't like from the original.

Faith decided that while Sam was over to watch Rocky Horror, she could work on the blocking to make it as similar to the movie as possible.

The two sat on Faiths bed, watching the movie on her TV as she wrote notes about the blocking of the scenes for the musical. Their legs were touching and neither of them dared to move.

"Faith!"

Faith turned her head to her door at the sound of Finns voice coming towards her room.

"My mom and I are making dinner tonight." His voice yelled from the hall before he opened the door to her room. "What are you in the mood—"

Finn stood frozen in Faiths doorway, a "kiss the cook" apron on as he stared at Sam.

As he stared at a boy on Faith's bed.

Faith saw Finns jaw clench as his face turned a bit red. He tilted his head as he turned to the girl he considered a sister. "Faith. A word?" He asked, nodding out to the hallway.

Faith looked back and forth between Finn and Sam before snickering and getting off the bed. She walked passed Finn out of her room and down a couple more feet in the hall so Sam wouldn't hear anything.

She could hear Finn following her and stopped. As soon as she turned around to face her, she was met with Finn looking at her with wide eyes.

"Does Burt know there's a guy in your bed?" Finn whisper yelled, his eyes still wide. Faith crossed her arms and stood on her toes to get closer to Finns height. "Your mom knows. My dads at the shop still and he doesn't need to know." Faith said, glaring at Finn at her last few words.

"Your door was closed." Finn shot and Faith quirked a brow. "Your doors closed with Rachel all the time. Even when there's no parents home." Faith said in an almost threatening manner.

Finn bit the inside of his cheek, his "threatening big brother" demeanor faltered and Faith tilted her head mockingly. She pushed passed Finn to walk back into her room.

She stopped just as she reached the doorway, turning to Finn. "Also, Finn?"

The boy turned at Faiths call. He saw the amused smile on her face and was already preparing for whatever insult or comment she was about to make.

"Next time you try to go all 'protective big brother' on me, maybe don't wear that apron."

Finn looked down at his apron and groaned. "You and Burt got this for me for Christmas." Finn defended and Faith gave him a genuine smile in return. "And I love that you're wearing it. I'm just saying it might not help you look too threatening."

Faith than blew an obnoxious kiss Finns way that Finn groaned at, walking back towards the kitchen. Faith laughed, glad she could annoy him before walking fully into her room, finding Sam's eyes on the TV as he ate his popcorn.

Faith climbed into the bed next to Sam. He turned his head when he felt the bed shift. He quickly swallowed the popcorn in his mouth and smiled at Faith.

She smiled back and got more comfortable in the bed. She grabbed her notebook for blocking from her nightstand and placed it on her lap, immediately starting to take notes. She didn't notice, but every few seconds Sam would turn his head to look at Faith. He didn't know what it was about her when she was deep in thought but he couldn't take his eyes off of her.

When "Damn it, Janet" started on her TV screen, Faith felt her phone buzz beside her. She looked up from her notes, Sam's eyes widening, looking back to the TV as if he hadn't been looking at her.

Faith grabbed her phone to see who texted and cursed under her breath at Mikes text. "Dammit!"

"Janet?" Sam asked, turning to Faith with a small smirk at his word play.

Faith turned to Sam with furrowed brows. "What?" She asked before she got Sam's joke and chuckled. She shook her head and Sam smiled. When Faiths laugh faded, her frown returned. "Mike just texted. His parents aren't letting him be Frank-n-Furter."

"What?" Sam asked, sitting up immediately and turning to face Faith all the way.

Faith sighed, dropping her head to her hand. Sam wasted no time scooting closer Faith and pulling her into him. It was only the first day, but she had already put so much work into this play and now there's no Frank-n-furter.

Faith took a deep breath before lifting her head. She smiled up at Sam, thankful he tried to help.

"Thank you." She whispered as Sam stared down at her, almost in a dreamy like state.

He smiled, nodding his head ever so slightly. "Of course." He said. His voice barely above a whisper.

Faiths smile grew and against her own strength, her eyes dropped to Sam's lips. Immediately knowing what she did, she looked back up into his eyes, hoping he didn't catch it.

But he did.

The small smile on Sam's face slowly grew into a smirk as he mimicked her actions, looking down at her lips and back to her eyes.

The two went like that back and forth, each time both of them getting closer and closer to the other. Almost as if it was a game to see who'd given in and lean in all the way.

Sam could feel the heat radiating off of Faiths face from how close they were. Both of their heads were spinning and they hadn't even kissed yet.

Faith finally took the courage to lean in the rest of the way. Her hand went to the back of his head and she leaned forward, letting their lips meet, catching Sam by surprise. Immediately, he kissed back, a smile forming on his face as fireworks went off in his head.

Sam's lips were warm and soft. Faiths were slightly chapped, but Sam wasn't complaining.

They both slowly pulled before they knew it, their faces still close. Faith opened her eyes and watched Sam, who still had his eyes closed.

He his lips were slightly parted and his cheeks had a tinge of pink to them. She smiled, feeling her already burning face grow hotter.

Slowly, Sam opened his eyes. His immediately locking with Faiths as if they were magnets. His corners of his lips lifted, creating a cheeky grin as he looked at her.

"Hi." Sam muttered, his words barely above a whisper, but considering how close they were, Faith could hear him loud and clear. Faith's stomach erupted in butterflies.

"Hi." Faith muttered back, a small laugh escaping with the words.

And for a while, the two forgot about the movie playing next to them, their eyes only stuck on each other.

...

After a few days of rehearsing, Sue came into the choir room with Ms. Pillsbury and Carl. They walked right up to Faith and Mr. Schue who were talking to the actors. After Carl and Sue explained that to help the performing arts, Carl would take a role in the play, Mr. Schue shook his head, his face scrunched. "I don't understand."

"Well, you guys have a hole to fill, and I'm just trying to help fill it." Carl said and Faith immediately looked passed Carl to the glee club, her eyes locking with a smirking Santana.

"Wanky." The two girls sang together, earning a scolding from Ms. Pillsbury.

"Well, you know, I can't just give you a role." Mr. Schue told Carl, shaking his head in a fake, disappointed manner. Faith smiled at that. Knowing that not only did he lot have the right to reject him but that what she would say next would just piss off Mr. Schue.

"He's right. I'm the director. I can give you the role." Faith said, sticking her hand out for Carl to shake. Carl gave the girl a half smile, going to shake Faiths hand, but Mr. Schue grabbed Faiths wrist, pulling her hand down.

"No. You'd have to try out."

Carl shrugged, turning to Ms. Pillsbury for a quick confirmation before he turned back to the choir teacher, nodding. "Fair enough, but I'll need a lady to sing to."

Faith and Santana both immediately rose their hands in the air, Faith not even noticing Sams shocked eyes.

Carl turned to Ms. Pillsbury, grabbing both of her hands in his as he smiled at her. "Ems?" He asked quietly and Ms. Pillbury immediately nodded. "Okay." She whispered, making Carl smile.

The man walked towards the band, nodding his head at them. "'Hot patootie.' B-flat."

Faith walked back towards her spot with the rest of the class, Sam still giving her shocked eyes as the song started.

Halfway during the song, Carl ran up to the students, standing on the highest riser next to Finn and Rachel. "Hot patootie, bless my soul! I really love that rock and roll!"

As he ran down the riser to get back to the floor, Carl grabbed Faiths hand and pulled her out of her seat. Faith laughed as Carl spun her around.

"Hot patootie, bless my soul! I really love that rock and roll!"

Carl let go of Faiths hand and ran to Emma. Mike instantly got up when he saw Faith standing alone. He ran to her and grabbed her hand, startling Faith at first before she smiled at him.

"My head used to swim from the perfume I smelled."

Mike let Faith finish her spin that Carl cut off and even pulled her into a quick dip, making almost the whole class whoop.

"My hands kind of fumbled with her white plastic belt."

Once she was back up from her dip, Mike led her towards Carl and Ms. Pillsbury by the piano. Mike tapped Carls shoulder and pointed to his feet, teaching Carl and Faith some dance moves.

"I'd taste her baby pink lipstick and that's when I'd melt. She whispered in my ear tonight she really was mine."

Faith instantly caught onto the dance moves as Carl patted Mike's back, leaving the two to keep dancing as he ran to Artie, squatting down to his height. "Get back in front, put some hair oil on. Buddy holly was singing his very last song."

All of glee club jumped out of their seats and started to partner up to dance. "With your arms around your girl, you'd try to sing along. You felt pretty good, you really had a good time!"

As Mike spun Faith again, their hands separated but Faith kept spinning. When she felt someone catch her, her hands instantly interlocked with the person. She looked up to see who she ran into and saw Sam looking down at her with a big smile.

Faith quickly wrapped her arms around Sam's neck and Sam wrapped his around her waist, pulling them closer. Faith felt butterflies in her stomach at Sam's touch. Sam starting dancing wildly with her, spinning her and jumping around to the point where Faith could only laugh since she could hardly keep up.

They hadn't really talked about the kiss, but since it happened, the two of them have gotten a lot closer and physical.

"Hot patootie, bless my soul! I really love that rock and roll"

The students all laughed as they dance through the end of the song up until a loud voice stopped them.

"No, no, no, no, wait, wait, wait!" Coach Sylvester yelled, stopping all of the kids laughs. "This will not do."

"Excuse me?" Carl asked, squinting at the coach. Faith was confused too. From what she understood, Coach Sylvester was the one that wanted Carl to be in the play in the first place.

"For this musical to continue, we need a Frank-n-furter, not an Eddie. Eddie was eliminated in my rewrites." Coach Sylvester groaned and Faith immediately slumped, forgetting that Sue had cut the character. Mr. Schue noticed Faiths glum expression and sighed, turning back to Carl. "Sue's right. You want to play in our sandbox, sing a Frank-n-furter number."

"Well, I'm sorry, bro, but I think it's fine to wear that Frankie bustier in the privacy of your own home... I'm freaky like that." Carl said, winking at Emma, making Santana slap Faiths arm as Faith choked on air.

"But don't you think it's a little inappropriate in a high school musical? I mean, at least if I play Eddie, I won't have to grind up against the students." Carl said and at the same time, Faith and Santana both started raise their hands before Tina pulled down Faiths hand and Mercedes pulled down Santanas.

"You know, Eddie's an important role. If I did it, I'd be showing my support for the arts." Carl shrugged out.

Mr. Schue licked his teeth in annoyance, tilting his head as a dry chuckle escaped his lips. "Are you telling me how to direct my show?"

Faith, noticing that this could go south very fast, quickly raised her hand, an innocent smile gracing her face as she turned to her teacher. "Um... if we're quoting what you said Monday, it's my show."

Mr. Schue rolled his eyes at Faiths comment, the regret for letting her direct already setting in.

"Mr. Shue?" Mercedes called out, quieting the man. Faith turned to Mercedes who was walking towards her.

"I'd like to play Frank-n-furter." She said.

A small smile took of Faiths face as she thought of Mercedes as Frank-n-furter. Mercedes noticed the small smile on Faiths face and took it as a sign to continue.

"I was rereading the script yesterday, and it said 'don't dream it, be it.' And it's my dream to play a lead role, so I figure, why not me? I mean, I'd be all kind of crazy sexy in that outfit. And I can reinterpret the number a little bit... make it more modern. I'd really like the chance, Mr. Shue." Mercedes said, a hopeful smile growing on her face.

"Plus, if you say no, Faith overrules you so..." Mercedes added on, now ignoring the teacher and looking at her friend. Mr. Schue looked back and forth between Faith and Mercedes before keeping his eyes locked on his student director.

"Faith?" He asked and Faith instantly nodded, an excited laugh leaving her lips. "Yes. Of course. You'd be amazing!"

Coach Sylvester smiled, grabbing Mr. Schue's shoulder and squeezing it to aggravate the man. "Well, there you go, Will. You killed two birds with one stone here today... congratulations. Look, you got yourself a Frank-n-furter and an Eddie. This is outstanding."
