------------------Narrator's p.o.v
A week or so has passed since (Y/n) became Champion of the Kalos Region and now we see our protagonist walking out of the Battle Institute but enough of that lets get on with the meat and potatoes
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
(Y/n): man that was good! Though I wish the competition was a little stronger but oh well, there's always the Battle Maison in Kiloude City
I walk down North Boulevard minding my own business until my Holocaster starts to ring
(Y/n): who could be calling me? *opens her Holocaster*
??? (Holocaster): ahem... (Y/n). Please excuse me. I only need a moment. Or perhaps three...
(Y/n): this voice... it sounds familiar somehow
???: there is something I really need to talk about with you. Please come to the Looker Bureau. The building is close to Rouge Plaza. I can't say anymore right now. I will except to see you soon
Then my Holocaster turns off as I try to figure out where I heard that voice before while hailing a taxi to head to the Looker Bureau and after a while I arrive at bureau and head inside and see a man wearing a brown trench coat
???: it was good of you to come *turns and faces (Y/n)*
(Y/n): Detective Looker, that's why his voice sounded familiar
Looker: yes... I need 30 seconds of your time. Or- -three minutes only. Thirty minutes, maybe. First, you must know that I have taken the liberty of investigating you, (Y/n). For example, I can say that you're the newest Champion of the Kalos region. Also, I can say that you were the one to save our world from the group known as Team Flare. Good. Very good. *realises something* I have delayed in giving my introduction. My code name is- -no! Hah! I mean to say, my name is-
(Y/n): Looker
Looker: *looks at (Y/n) in shock then smiles* correct, I'm no more then a grim, middle-age man who works in this town as a detective. And now, let us approach the real subject, (Y/n), my friend. I investigated you, yes. I called you here today, yes. The reason for these actions? Listen well... Lumiose City... it is a tourist destination whose name is known all over the world. Many kinds of people live here and even more come to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. The fact is, wherever there are so many people in one place, trouble is never far behind. Trouble beckons me. Yes. Trouble troubles me. And so I arrive and so I open this agency. Being a detective and doing such work requires a person with a hard-boiled heart. But even a heart that embraces the loneliness can sometimes stumble, falter, doubt. And that's where you come in, kid. I want you to be my assistant. No, more then that! I want you to be my partner. If a Champion like you and an iron-jawed detective like me join forces, I promise we can bring peace to Lumiose City! What does your heart say, (Y/n)? Will you partner with me and fight crime?
(Y/n): sure! It's better than what I'm doing now
Looker: for you brave answer, I thank you. Lumiose City will regain its tranquillity! Well, I wish it could be that easy. Because even though you are Champion, you're still a rookie when it comes to detective work. And that's why I must ask you to enroll in my class in detective and espionage skills: "The Looker Method: Yes, even YOU can become a detective in five easy steps!" When you're ready to learn the meaning of "hard-boiled," just come and talk to me again
(Y/n): I ain't doing much, so let's get this bread!
Looker: very well then, allow me to explain what you will be doing. You will need to find to find five Lookers Tickets that have been sprinkled about Lumiose City and then bring them back to me! There's nothing more to it! Simple as can be! The Looker Tickets will be sure to catch your eye with a glitter and sparkles. I want you to succeed, so I have left some hints in my notebook about where to find the Tickets! Ah ha, so then, it is time. Away with you to begin your training! I trust you'll live up to my hopes!
I give Looker a nod and walk over to his notebook and have a look through it and get an idea where the tickets are
(Y/n): ok, so the 1st ticket is in the the Pokécentre, the 2nd ticket is in Lumiose Gym, the 3rd is on Vernal Ave, in a medical store, the 4th ticket is on North Boulevard on the 1F in the hotel and the last ticket is on the same boulevard in the Lumiose Museum on the 1F
With that information I make my way out of the Bureau and start making my way towards one of the Tickets then my Holocaster goes off so I answer it and I hear Looker's voice
Looker: so now that you're heading off into into the city, (Y/n), I just thought I would go over the locations of the hidden tickets once again
(Y/n): don't worry Looker, I've memorised it all
Looker: very well, but if you are having trouble remembering, you can return to the Bureau to look over the notebook. I wish you luck
The Holocaster turns off and I make my into North Boulevard and head towards the Lumiose Museum and once I get there I head inside and pay the entry fee
(Y/n): now the the ticket if on the first floor let's have a look around
I start to wander around the museum occasionally looking at the paintings around the place then after a short while I found one of tickets
(Y/n): *picks up the ticket* oh sparkly! Wait there's something written on the back of it. "Congratulations! You've found a ticket. Your brilliant deduction has brought you one step closer to becoming a detective!" Well I should head out and look for the rest
I place the ticket away and I make my way back to North Boulevard and make my way over to the hotel that pays surprisingly good money
(Y/n): I wonder if I'm going to get challenged for the title of Champion, well if it does happen I'll be ready for them
As I continue to walk down the sidewalk I see two guys a bit older then me walking down the other side of the road, the first guy is a white T-shirt with red short sleeves and a logo, the number "96", blue jeans, red and white sneakers and a slightly redesigned cap. He also carries a new yellow backpack and has watch of some kind on his lifetime wrist. The other one is slightly shorter then the first one as he wears a black short-sleeved shirt with buttons, green pants and shoes. He is also wearing a pair of sunglasses and carries a gray backpack
(Y/n): those two look strong, like really strong... I wonder what they're doing here?
As those thoughts run through my head I arrive at the hotel and make my way inside and look around the bottom floor until something shining catches my eye
(Y/n): yes! another ticket! Three left and there's something written on the back as well. "Congratulations! You found a ticket! Just as I would expect of my colleague-to-be, (Y/n)! March on! March on! Dive deep into Lumiose City!"
I put away the ticket where the other is store and head towards Lumiose Gym, after a short walk I arrive in the Gym to see Bonnie holding one of the tickets that I'm looking for
(Y/n): hey Bonnie!
Bonnie: heya (Y/n)! What are you doing here? Have you come to battle Clemont again?!
(Y/n): sorry Bonnie but no I'm not, I'm actually here to collect that you're holding
Bonnie: really? I saw a man wear a trench coat drop this
(Y/n): and the exact same man asked me to retrieve these tickets, if you don't believe me I've got two tickets just like that one
Bonnie: don't worry about showing anything, you're helping someone so here you go!
(Y/n): you are way too kind Bonnie, but thank you anyways
Bonnie: any friend of Shauna is a friend of mine, I should be heading back to Clemont, see ya
Bonnie then heads over into the elevator and goes up to Clemont I take a look on the back of the ticket as it reads "Congratulations! You've found a ticket! Your training is coming along smoothly! If my deduce are correct, I would say that this is the third ticket you've tracked down. Which would mean you are more than halfway through your training! Lumiose is an imposing city, but do your best!"
(Y/n): +puts away the ticket* almost done, now to head over to the to the Pokémon Centre since it's closer, then head over to the medical shop and then I done
I make my out of Gym and head over to the Pokémon Centre and head inside and find the ticket near the changing rooms and pick up the ticket
(Y/n): that's ticket four now *turns the ticket around* now what do you say. "Congratulations! You've found a ticket! Shall I share my diagnostics with you again? This ticket must be... your forth ticket. Correct, yes? I imagine you are consumed with curiosity. How could I possibly know this? The answer to that is simply- -I am a hard-boiled detective, after all!"
I give a small chuckle at the message and get a taxi and head over to Vernal Avenue and into the Herboriste and grab the ticket and read the message on the back
(Y/n): "Congratulations! You've found a ticket! If you have gathered all five tickets, make your way straight to the Looker Bureau! Your training continues until we meet again! Remember that, brave (Y/n)!" Well I should head back to tell Looker I've got the tickets
I head back outside hop into a taxi and head back to the Looker Bureau. Once I get there I head inside and I'm greeted by the detective
Looker: welcome back
(Y/n): here's the tickets *hands Looker the tickets
Looker: ein, tvo, tri, fjore... fif! Five Looker Tickets! Congratulations, (Y/n)! You have completed your training using my patented course, "The Looker Method: yes, even YOU can become a detective in five easy steps!" From this day onward, you are a fully fledged, completely boiled detective!
Narrator's p.o.v
Looker: ...Ahem! With that accomplished, let me issue my request once more. (Y/n), be my crime-fighting partner?
(Y/n): of course
Looker: excellent. It will be an honor for you to serve as an officer of the Looker Bureau! And... as partner to one and only Looker! I'll send you a message on your Holocaster whenever we have a job to do!
(Y/n) gives Looker nod and handshake then heads out into Lumiose City leaving Looker to himself
Looker: *walks over to the window* ... ... ... to complete my patented training course, "The Looker Method: yes, even YOU can become a detective in five easy steps!" in so little time and with such ease... (Y/n), you truly are a masterful Trainer. The big case on which I have been at work... it is a certainty. We will crack this case together. And, as for what is past, old friend, be patient. Justice will be served- -enough for all!
Looker then unknowingly clenches his right fist as a look of determination spreads across his face but that ends today's chapter I hoped you enjoyed it and I hope to see you soon bye bye
