Fu Yue watched as the tall man had his face go completely pale and then rushed out of the room in the next second.

It wasn't long before he returned with a trembling doctor in his right hand and placed the poor man in front of him.

Fu Yue: "..."

Fu Yue's eyelids twitched, "I am perfectly fine. No need to bother the doctor."

In response to his words, the man's eyes were full of doubts, obviously not trusting what a memory loss patient like him had to say. In the end, Fu Yue expended quite an effort for him to finally let the doctor go.

"... You can't remember anything at all?"

Fu Yue nodded and quietly observed the other party's expression.

Even though the other side appeared quite fierce at the beginning, Fu Yue could tell that he was genuinely upset about this situation.

At this point, he couldn't help but become curious about their relationship and asked right away, "What's our connection?"

"Ah… This is driving me crazy." The man muttered under his breath as he covered his face with both of his hands, not willing to believe that he would actually hear this absurd question one day.

Nonetheless, a few seconds later, as if coming to terms with reality, he motioned Fu Yue to sit down on the couch.

The man stabilized his emotions and finally opened his mouth, "Your name is Fu Yue."

"...Fu Yue?!" Fu Yue exclaimed in a pleasant surprise.

Noticing his reaction, the man's expression somewhat improved, "At least, you seem to be familiar with your own name."

With a slight pause, he continued, "My name is Fu Zhen, I am your big brother. "

Not expecting this development, Fu Yue's eyes widened in shock and his mouth hung open soundlessly.

A bit disoriented, he hastily confirmed, "... A family kind of brother?"

Not fully understanding why he was asking this, Fu Zhen raised an eyebrow and emphasized, "Blood-related and in the same household register kind of brother."

Having been made clear that he was not mistaken, Fu Yue's heart suddenly sped up due to nervousness mixed with some sort of excitement.

His hands tightly clutched the couch as if wanting to calm himself down with this information.

So he finally has a family…

Fu Yue was an orphan. The word family was a foreign term to him.

He couldn't imagine how it felt to have a blood-related relative in the same world as him.

Initially, Fu Yue only thought of Fu Zhen as a stranger so he acted casually without thinking much. But now that he turned out to be his biological brother, he couldn't help but become stiff, not knowing how he should behave in front of one.

Fu Zhen, on the other hand, mistook his reactions as being uncomfortable with him and felt a pang of sadness in his heart.

He internally sighed.

Even after losing his memories his instinctive reactions toward him are still the same.

Just as Fu Zhen was immersed in his thoughts, Fu Yue's clear voice suddenly pulled him back to reality, "So, Gege. What about our parents?"

Fu Zhen abruptly froze. He looked at him in shock, "What did you just call me?"

Looking at the bewildered Fu Zhen, Fu Yue asked, even more surprised than him, "Am I not supposed to call you Gege?"

"No." Fu Zhen hastily denied it fearing that Fu Yue would have a change of heart and switched to a polite tone like in the past. He awkwardly explained, "You used to call me in a respectful tone rather than an intimate one so I was just a bit surprised…"

Feeling that something was off, Fu Yue with sharp eyes straightforwardly asked, "Were we not close?"

Fu Zhen was momentarily taken aback by his question. Despite not wanting to admit it, he still honestly admitted, "Our relationship is rather lukewarm, unlike others."

The last few words were uttered in a soft voice almost sounding like a whisper but Fu Yue still heard it loud and clear.

He shouldn't be having this thought about his supposed big brother but he couldn't help but see a big dog with droopy ears and tail.

Wanting to encourage him, Fu Yue got up and lightly patted his shoulder, "Bro, don't worry. Brotherhood is not always as colorful as sisterhood."

The corner of Fu Zhen's lips twitched fiercely, "Who said I want to have a sisterhood with you?"

Fu Yue gave him a 'I believe You' face with understanding eyes before sitting back in his original position.

Fu Zhen rolled his eyes and switched the topic, "Our parents should be arriving soon."

His words just fell and the door to the ward was pushed open by a tall handsome middle-aged man dressed in a black business suit.

Fu Yue unconsciously straightened his back and sat properly facing this dignified elder.

Signs of aging left traces on his handsome face but they didn't diminish his appearance and instead added a hint of wisdom and maturity charm.

His light brown hair mixed with some gray hair growing around his temples was neatly combed and pushed to the back revealing his prominent forehead.

His suit outlined his well-maintained figure which was not inferior to any young man in their twenties showing how great he was in taking care of his health.

He also possessed a pair of light violet eyes but unlike Fu Yue's, they were deep and mysterious. In addition to his suffocated aura which was like a giant mountain pressing down on you, he was the embodiment of an apex predator.

Just as Fu Yue was overwhelmed by his presence, the handsome uncle's eyes were visibly softened the moment their gazes met. Without saying anything, he slightly moved to the side making way for another person to enter.

Only at this did Fu Yue realize that there was another beautiful man who was a head shorter and much smaller than the brown-haired uncle.

It was not an exaggeration to say that Fu Yue was completely dazzled by his beauty and he needed to look twice to confirm this was a man, not a woman.

If the first uncle was a towering mountain then this person was like a gentle moon. Standing side by side, the contrast was even more prominent.

His medium-length silver hair which reached his shoulders and fiery red eyes only made him look even more ethereal like a fairy making heads turn everywhere he went.

Fu Yue alternated his gaze between the two men and seemed to touch the essence of the truth but before the thought could form it was disrupted by Fu Zhen's voice.

Fu Zhen stood up to greet the two, "Father, Dad, you both are finally here."

The brown-haired uncle gave a slight hum as an acknowledgment before closing the door with a backhand. Meanwhile, the silver-haired man quickly rushed to Fu Yue's side.

"Xiao Yue, are you okay?!"

Not used to this type of excess concern and proximity, Fu Yue's whole body stiffened.

The silver-haired man immediately noticed something wrong with his younger son. He softened his voice and apologized, "Your Father and Dad are so sorry for being late. Tell Dad, are you still uncomfortable anywhere?"

Fu Yue slowly shook his head and distressingly winked at his big brother.

Fu Zhen received his signal and he was in a bit of a dilemma in breaking the news to his parents.

The brown-haired uncle furrowed his brows at their little interactions, "Ah Zhen, what's wrong with Xiao Yue."

Fu Zhen lightly sighed and suggested, "Dad, I think it is better to give him some space. He lost his memory so he doesn't remember who we are."

Both men froze upon hearing this. Especially the silver-haired man who seemed to be heartbroken with this news.

Seeing the silver-haired man's eyes slowly reddened, Fu Yue became a bit flustered.

Not wanting to make the situation even more awkward, he hurriedly lightened the atmosphere, "What matters is that I am healthy. Memory can be made, don't be disheartened!"

The silver-haired man didn't expect to be comforted by his younger son and felt moved. Not wanting to make him uncomfortable, he got up and went to sit down opposite his younger son with his husband, "Our Xiao Yue is right, as long as you are well and fine, we are satisfied."

Fu Yue gave a sheepish smile in return. At this point, he figured out that these two men were his parents which meant…

He scooted closer to Fu Zhen who had just settled down right next to him and whispered, "Are we adopted?"

Others: "..."

Even though Fu Yue had his voice lowered, they all sat not far away from each other and could make out what he had just said to Fu Zhen.

Fu Zhen was flabbergasted with his question. He exclaimed, "Are you sure your brain is not damaged?"

Fu Zhen was not to blame for this reaction. Anyone with eyes could see that the four were related and why was the first thing that came to his mind was that they were adopted???

It went the same for Fu Yue's side. He was not blind and could see that Fu Zhen took after the brown-haired uncle while he shared similarities with the silver-haired man.

But here is the contradiction.

Fu Zhen said they were blood-related which ruled out the possibility of the two uncles remarrying each other turning them into step-brothers.

Therefore, the likely possibility was their biological parents were somehow related to these two gentlemen but met with unexpected mishaps that left them parentless.

In the end, these two gentlemen who couldn't have children decided to adopt them as their sons.

There was nothing wrong with Fu Yue's logic except that he used it at the wrong place…

"You are not adopted." The brown-haired man firmly refuted his claim.

Having the intimidating uncle overheard his question, Fu Yue felt a bit embarrassed but his mind was soon overwhelmed with questions momentarily forgetting his fear.

His mind rapidly spun and cautiously posed another question, "Then… this gentlem-Dad, did you change your gender?"

Others: "..."

The silver-haired man who was the subject of the question choked, "Dad didn't go through any surgery…"

Upon hearing this, Fu Yue, who ran out of ideas, uttered in disbelief, "Where do we come from then???"

Others: "..."

The brown-haired man took a big deep breath and solemnly said, "Ah Zhen, go get Doctor Shu."

"Ok." Fu Zhen was very much in agreement with him.

"Since Second Young Master Fu lost his memory, it is normal to forget common sense too. Let him slowly learn and familiarize himself. Sooner or later, he can interact and socialize normally again."

After Doctor Shu finished his words, the fu family members turned to look at the soulless Fu Yue who had just learned some earth-shattering news and was slumping on the couch as if he had lost his will to live.

No wonder, everyone looked so concerned about his well-being.

As it turned out he was no longer in the same world.

He crossed over to an ABO world!

Even worse is that he is an Omega ah ah ah!

Despite being a straight man, Fu Yue was no stranger to this ABO setting.

It's all thanks to the fanfictions those people on the internet wrote about him and other esports players.

Fu Yue remembered slapping his thigh excitedly praising the creativity of humankind that transcended logic.

But at this moment, he couldn't bring himself to laugh.

Everything was so strange to him that he felt a bit overwhelmed by being in this strange world all alone.

Just as he thought of this he suddenly felt the back of his head being cradled and he was soon enveloped in a light hug.

An Yan gently gathered his younger son into his arms and soothingly rubbed his back, "Xiao Yue, it is okay. We are not going anywhere. Let's learn slowly."

Fu Yue's pupils shook. Even though he was still feeling a bit uncomfortable, he didn't feel rejected by his gesture.

Taking in his pleasant cologne, listening to his soft-spoken voice, and surrounded by his warm embrace, Fu Yue felt oddly safe and shielded.

His complicated thoughts miraculously drifted away. Closing his eyes, he returned the hug and buried his face into his chest.

An Yan's hand momentarily paused at his unexpected reaction but soon, a smile formed on his face.

Fu Zheng and Fu Zhen didn't interrupt the pair and watched silently in relief knowing that Fu Yue didn't feel rejected by their presence.

Little did they know, Fu Yue who has always been living alone yearned for a family the most. He was willing to face this reality if it meant that he could gain this precious chance to experience this warmth.
