Jimin knew the decision to leave his home behind, even though he promised himself that it won't be for long, wouldn't be easy. However, he wanted this. And Taehyung looked extra happy because of his decision too. They were brothers. Inseparable since childhood. Jimin simply didn't want to let Taehyung go anytime soon.
They took off to Jeongguk's pack three days after the battle. They arrived in the southern wildlands in less than a day. The evening sun gleamed on the horizon as Jimin and others entered the packgrounds, many wolves clapping and cheering the three of them, as well as Jungwon's men who had pledged their loyalty to Jeongguk.
Jimin was nervous, needless to say. Taehyung was too, he knew. However, Taehyung held Jeongguk's hand and Jimin knew that he would be fine. Jimin would have to make up his mind soon and leave. Taehyung would be able to adjust well because this was his mate's home.
As Jimin watched the smiling faces of Jeongguk's people around them, Jimin couldn't help but have his eyes linger on one man. He was smiling the widest at Jeongguk, with an adorable gummy smile. Jeongguk too grinned at him brightly, waving at him and Jimin concluded that they were close friends.
The man- a beta, Jimin was sure, looked at Taehyung too and finally, his eyesswitched to Jimin. Their eyes locked and Jimin suddenly felt the air between them sizzle like electricity.
Jimin's lips parted open in surprise and the beta mirrored his expression.
"Jimin? Everything good?" Jimin was awakened by Taehyung's voice.
"Huh? Y-yeah" Jimin nodded and Taehyung sighed, continuing to walk again.
Jimin gulped and turned his head to look at the beta, whose cat-like eyes still stared at him. Jimin licked his lips as he felt his wolf purr in happiness inside him as if he himself had found his home.
Maybe he really does have a reason to stay here after all.

Taehyung didn't expect settling down in Jeongguk's pack to be easy. However, everyone from Jeongguk's pack had been nothing but kind and welcoming to Taehyung. Now a month after Taehyung and Jeongguk's arrival, the alpha had gotten to know everyone in the pack.
Bidding farewell to his pack members hadn't been easy. They had been Taehyung's family. Still were. However with the promise that he would visit soon, he left with Jeongguk.
Jeongguk and Taehyung had their own villa, just like any other mated couple of family of Jeongguk's pack has. Since Jeongguk was the leader, they had moved into his childhood villa, which was bigger than the other villas since he was the leader now. While Jeongguk was busy managing the pack, Taehyung was left to decorate and organize their new home.
Jeongguk had been busy since the day he arrived and Taehyung was quite upset that he barely got to spend time with his mate. Around a week and a half after they arrived, Jeongguk heat occured. This was the longest time Taehyung had spent together with the omega after their arrival today. And Taehyung was glad that Jeongguk was able to take a few days off from his work because of his heat.
Jeongguk's heat had been more than Taehyung had bargained for. It was exhausting; the omega's sex drive was unimaginable. Taehyung didn't know how he had so much stamina. But Taehyung wasn't complaining, of course. He loved it. Even when Taehyung barely had the energy to get up from bed but Jeongguk rode his cock mindlessly trying to get himself off.
Taehyung had lost count of the times he knotted Jeongguk. No matter how exhausting it had been, Taehyung loved how they were able to bond as mates and wolves during that time. He loved taking care of Jeongguk.
After his heat ended, Jeongguk went back to his work as the leader. Taehyung understood that Jeongguk, as the leader of his pack, had duties to attend to. The pack had been in shambles after Jungwon's leadership and Jeongguk had so many things to take care of. Taehyung helped, of course. He was given his own part of work that required his daytime. However, he wasn't half as busy as Jeongguk.
Jeongguk came home late at night and they had their dinner together, only having little time to talk while they cuddled to sleep. Taehyung didn't want to complain, even though his wolf was whimpering at the lack of time he spent with his omega,
It was a fine morning and a few days ago, the pack faced a small attack by a neighbouring pack. They had wanted to test Jeongguk's leadership, which was a common way to establish honour and authority in wolf packs. Jeongguk had won, impressively. Taehyung was proud of him.
Jeongguk was now at the infirmary, checking on the soldiers that were injured from that battle. Taehyung walked into the infirmary and spotted Jeongguk talking with a beta with a smile. His reddish mate mark that was now healed gleamed beautifully on his neck and Taehyung felt his chest swell with pride.
There was a beautiful glow around Jeongguk too. His complexion was glowy. Maybe it was just Taehyung, who was mate-deprived. He had hardly been able to hug Jeongguk in the last few weeks.
Probably catching on Taehyung's scent, Jeongguk looked towards the doorway. His soft smile widened into a bunny-like grin and he ran towards Taehyung.
Taehyung extended his arms for the omega to run into and Jeongguk crashed into him. Taehyung laughed and hugged Jeongguk back, feeling his wolf hum in happiness.
"Alpha" Jeongguk whispered, his nose nudging against Taehyung's neck. "Why are you here?"
"To see the new nurse, of course"
Jeongguk laughed. "Shut up. I'm not a nurse!"
"You have been spending the last few days here, my love. You have already become a nurse"
Jeongguk pouted. "Did you miss me?"
"Nope"
Jeongguk laughed, making Taehyung's heart leap in his chest. "Meanie"
Taehyung sighed and took Jeongguk's hand in his. They started walking towards the thicket. Taehyung stopped behind a tree and looked at Jeongguk.
"I missed you so fucking much. I don't think I can take it anymore" Taehyung whispered.
"I missed you too, my alpha" Jeongguk wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck, their faces inches away. "I'm sorry for not-"
"No need for apologies, my pup" Taehyung whispered, placing his forehead over Jeongguk's. "I understand that you have duties"
"I also have duties to you, as my mate. You're my alpha and I should take care of you, just like you take care of me. And I haven't attended to that recently-"
"It's okay, my love"
Jeongguk shook his head. "You might have felt lonely here too. All of this is new to you. Fuck I feel so bad now. I have been so thoughtless, only caring about the mess my pack was in. I didn't even have time to make sure you felt comfortable and welcome here" Jeongguk's scent turned sour with sorrow.
"But that's okay. Besides I had Jimin to hang out with"
"But Jimin's been spending time with Yoongi after they realized they were mates"
"And I'm happy for them. My love, you have had matters that would not wait for you until you attend them. But I will always be here, waiting for you. And I didn't feel lonely. You gave me work to do and I always cuddled you to sleep at night. Your packmemebers also made me feel welcome"
Jeongguk nodded at Taehyung with glassy eyes. "I love you so much. I will not abandon you like that ever again, okay?"
Taehyung pecked Jeongguk's cheek. "I love you too"
"I will be with you from this evening. It feels like things are finally back in place and I can finally rest"
"You make it sound like you're dying"
Jeongguk laughed. "What I'm saying is that you can have my full attention from today"
"I like that. You always have my full attention"
Jeongguk kissed Taehyung, sweetly and passionately and the alpha pushed him back until he was met with a tree trunk. Taehyung's hands found the omega's waist and he tilted his head, kissing Jeongguk deeper.
"Fuck I missed that" Taehyung whispered against Jeongguk's lips. "I barely got to kiss you properly. Much less knot you! For weeks"
Jeongguk gasped, looking around. "Tae! Someone might hear!"
Taehyung grinned. "So what? I want to knot you again. Fuck, Jeongguk. We're newly mated! We are supposed to be all over each other like hungry wolves!"
"And you think I haven't felt that need? Every time I see you in the daytime all I want to do is push you into some room, rip your clothes off and have you knot me until I can't feel my insides. But when I come home at night, I'm too fucking tired!"
"Well then I plan to tire you out tonight too, more than ever"
"That's the kind of tired I would love to be" Jeongguk grinned.
Taehyung smirked and kissed Jeongguk, fiercely and passionately. Their pheremones had become thicker and sweeter with arousal but Taehyung had too little care that they were in public. He pushed Jeongguk up from his thighs, making him wrap his legs around the alpha's waist and kissed him deeper.
Jeongguk moaned softly into the kiss, making a low rumble escape from the alpha too and Taehyung was about to ask him to take this to their villa when-
"Oh my goodness!"
Taehyung and Jeongguk broke free from each other at the voice. To their right was an elderly woman, grinning at them.
"Mrs Choi!" Jeongguk exclaimed.
"Oh no, continue!" She laughed. "But there are pups running around everywhere"
"I'm sorry, Mrs Choi" Jeongguk muttered.
"You know, I think after all that mishap of this pack, what it needs is a good wedding. And I suppose I can expect one quite soon, yes?" She said and waved at them, already turning on her heel to walk away from them.
Jeongguk looked at Taehyung who chuckled breathlessly. Jeongguk shook his head.
"She's right, you know?" Taehyung said.
"What?"
"A wedding"
Jeongguk blushed. "Our wedding?"
"Yes. Let's get married"
Jeongguk pouted. "Yeah, we might have to get married pretty quickly"
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Why?"
Jeongguk smiled at him shyly. "I don't want to stand on the aisle with a belly bump!"
Taehyung's mouth dropped open. "Excuse me?"
Jeongguk smiled at him.
"What?" Taehyung whispered. "Jeongguk, what are you..."
Jeongguk giggled, shrugging.
A soft growl escaped Taehyung's throat, his wolf not knowing how to act. He pushed Jeongguk back against the tree and buried his nose in the omega's neck. He licked over the mate mark, making Jeongguk sigh softly. Taehyung nudged his nose against the omega's scent gland, breathing in his scent.
Taehyung felt his wolf sigh in bliss as he breathed in the sweet scent of cherry blossom, caramel and-
Milk.
Taehyung felt his mind go into a craze and not quite believing what he just smelled, he took another deep breath, inhaling all the sweetness of Jeongguk's scent and oh Luna- the scent of milk was so, so evident but so faint. However, Taehyung as Jeongguk's mate could get a whiff of it.
Taehyung staggered back, eyes wide with surprise because Jeongguk...
Jeongguk was pregnant.
"You're pregnant"
Jeongguk smiled softly, his eyes sparkling. "Yes"
"How..." Taehyung gulped, his wolf growling in happiness and pride. Jeongguk was pregnant with...Taehyung's pups. Of course, Taehyung had knotted Jeongguk many times in his heat. Taehyung should've expected as much.
Taehyung had pupped Jeongguk.
"When did you know?"
"I didn't know until recently. And it probably happened during my heat. But I just started feeling so nauseous in the morning since like last week. I was eating more than normal and craving food all the time. I was craving you so much too. But I didn't even have time to get myself checked with the hassle but I got checked yesterday and the nurse said that I was pregnant. Around two weeks now"
Taehyung placed his hand over his mouth, letting out a deep breath. He wrapped his hands around Jeongguk and hugged him tightly.
"Fuck, Jeongguk. I'm going to be a dad?"
"Yes you are"
Taehyung wanted to cry from happiness. "Can't believe you're all pupped up now. My omega. My sweet mate"
"Tae" Jeongguk whispered.
Taehyung sank into his knees and raised the hem of Jeongguk's shirt to look at his tummy. But all he was met with a soft, flat stomach.
"There's no bump yet!" Jeongguk giggled.
"There will be one soon? I can't wait to see you all round and swelled up with my pups"
"Tae!" Jeongguk was blushing furiously.
"What if it's twins? Or triplets!"
"Tae, we can't manage three pups!"
"But twins? What if you're having twins?!"
"Twins is fine"
"Gosh, can't wait to see a whole litter"
"Ugh you're making me feel embarrassed!"
Taehyung laughed and nuzzled his head against the omega's tummy, making Jeongguk erupt into loud giggles.
"Fuck, I love you so much" Taehyung whispered.
"I love you too" Jeongguk whispered. "Are you okay with a baby right now? We're still young"
"I will never say no to a family with you, Jeongguk. I'm sure we will be the perfect parents" Taehyung said, eyes sparkling with delight. "I'm so happy. Thank you for this, Jeongguk. I have always wanted pups"
"Taehyung" Jeongguk pouted and looked at Taehyung with twinkling eyes. Taehyiung couldn't help but coo at him and kiss him.
"We should announce this to the pack, yes?"
"Oh yeah" Jeongguk whispered. "This evening, we will call a gathering. We have to tell your parents too"
"Sure" Taehyung tucked a lock of hair behind Jeongguk's ear, looking at him lovingly. "I will take care of you and make sure you're completely happy and comfortable during your pregnancy. I'm excited about our future"
"We're going to need a nursery"
"Oh my god! I need to build a nursery! I'm so excited" Taehyung laughed.
Jeongguk giggled and pecked Taehyung's cheek. "We should go back to the villa. Don't you think you should not your newly-pupped omega?"
Taehyung chuckled darkly. "Of course. Now that you're all pupped up, you will be hornier than ever and I'm going to knot you as much as I can"
"I'm looking forward to it" Jeongguk whispered. "After you knot me, shall we go and get things ready for the gathering, my alpha?"
"Yes, my omega. I will do as you please, mother of my children"
