Arthur Leywin POV
After everything that happened last night, in the morning I bid my farewells to my family and friends in Helstea mansion and now I am on my way to the portal gate that will lead me to the Elven kingdom, Elenoir
I was passing the busy streets of Xyrus while riding in a carriage that uncle Vincent arranged for me
It wasn't as luxurious as the ones I rode back when I was Lance, but it was better than what most of the nobles can afford
" Young master Arthur, we will be soon arriving at the gate" the coachman informed me
I picked up the bag where I was carrying my stuff and placed it on my back, ready to leave the moment we arrive
Even though I could carry everything in my dimensional rune I decided to use the bag so it wouldn't be suspicious how am I going on a trip in a foreign nation without any luggage
In my bag, I had some spare clothes, gifts for my friends in Elenoir ( the royal family), and the compass they gave me to navigate the forest
I also had a very special gift I prepared for Alea, but I kept it in my dimensional rune since it was very expensive
I got out of my carriage and headed to the guards that were protecting the portal
" Stop there" one of the guards said
" State your name and where are you heading" said the other guard
" Arthur Leywin, heading for the kingdom of Elenoir"
After the confirmation, I was allowed to pass the gate and now, I am standing in the middle of Elshire forest
Once again, I was stopped by the guards, this time Elven, but after confirming my identity and purpose for coming to their kingdom, I was let go
I could have rented a carriage to take me to the capital city Zestier, but I decided to take a walk since it has been a while since my last visit
I was walking through the forest, enjoying the scenery around me when a sudden realization hit me
' This forest will end up being a wasteland'
Only thinking about that was very depressing
The place where I spent a great deal of my childhood was turned into a pile of ashes while I could just watch it gets destroyed from the safe place
I gritted my teeth in frustration
" Papa, calm down" Sylvie tugged my sleeve from beside me
" I am sorry Sylv" I apologized with a smile
After we passed the gates she took on her human form, and ever since then she was walking uneasily
But I don't blame her, today she is supposed to meet someone that will become her mom, somebody that she already looks at as a mother, so even if she is uneasy and nervous it is understandable
We slowly proceeded through the forest until we reached the entrance of the city
There was a smaller column of people waiting outside the gates of the city, but I just went ahead of them to the guards, not even listening to their complaints
" Stop right there kid!" Shouted one of the guards " I don't care what noble family see you from, you have to wait in the line" he said while pointing to the end of the line
I ignored him and opened my bag, pulling a compass out of it
I presented it to the guard and once he realized what have I just given him, his face went pale and sweat ran down his face
In a moment his stance straightened and he moved aside so I can pass
" I am terribly sorry sir, you may pass!" He shouted
The other guard who looked at all this confused approached us to see what was going on
" Hey Vels, what's going on?" He asked
" Th-this kid is a guest of the royal family" the first guard, now known as Vels, whispered to the other guard
"!"
The other guard also moved aside and let me pass through

After the scene at the gates, I entered the capital and was on my way to Aleas place
Before we started our ways in the Glades she gave me her address so I can know where to go when I arrive at the capital of the elven kingdom
Needless to say, Zestier and Xyrus we're two fundamentally different cities
For starters, it was much colder in Xyrus compared to Zestier, not that it matters much to me though
The living dynamic between the cities was so much different that it made me wonder if the two cities were really on the same continent
' Are you excited?' I asked my daughter that was now in her white fox form
' Yes! But I am also a little anxious... and worried' she said the last part weakly so I patted her head to improve her mood
And just like that, I entered the large building that had multiple apartments within it
What I found weird was the fact that the building looked like a giant wood from the outside
' But doesn't basically everything look like that around here?' Regis commented
' True' I said as I slowly scratched my cheek
I knocked on the door where the surname " Tristan" was written
" I am coming" I heard a sweet voice shouting from the other side
A bright light shone from my side and Sylvies human form came to life
She stood by my side, holding cutely onto my shirt with her tiny little hand
The door opened revealing an angelic-looking girl
" Welcome" she said with a smile

Virion Eralith POV
I was sitting in my son's office together with him, my daughter-in-law, and my granddaughter, when suddenly a guard came into the room, looking quite panicked
" Your Highness the king and queen! Elder Virion!" He gave us all a deep bow after calling out to us and after that kneeled, looking at the floor
" Speak, what made you come here in such a hurry?" My son, Alduin, asked
" Yes!" He lifted his head and started speaking
" We have just received a report from the human boy with blonde hair and golden eyes who has just entered the capital with a compass given to him by the Royal family!"
" What!?" Alduin shouted in disbelief
" But we didn't give the compass with our insignia to anyone with those features" Merial said worriedly
Tess on the other hand looked really confused because of all ruckus that was happening in front of her
' Wait that description, could it be...'
" Oh! So Arthur came to visit" I shouted in the realization
"" Eh?"" The pair of King and queen in the room were confused after my revelation
" Wait, so Art came to visit!?" Tessia shouted with joy
" Father, what are you talking about? Arthur has auburn hair and azure blue eyes?" Merial questioned
They all looked at me waiting for the explanation and I decided to let them wait for a little, just so I could tease them
" You may leave" I said to the guard that was getting uncomfortable there since he missed his chance to excuse himself
I took a sip of my tea, and after deciding that I made them wait for long enough, I started explaining
" The other day when I went to Xyrus, I met Arthur and he said to me that due to his beast will his appearance has changed" I said calmly after which I took another sip of tea
" Ah... I see" Merial said while thinking
" That just sounds like Arthur" Alduin joked
" Tru... Ahhh little one that hurts!" I shouted as I was interrupted by Tess pulling my beard
" Why didn't you tell me that you met Arthur?!" She asked angrily
After realizing what kind of mistake I just made, I decided to put my all into making my cute granddaughter forgive me
" I am a sorry little one, I just forgot to mention it! Please let me go and I will buy you a crepe!" So I tried to bribe her
" With extra cream?" She said with teary eyes
" O-okay!" After that she let go of me all happy
" But if he came to Zestier, why didn't he arrive yet?" Merial asked a valid question
I pondered over that a bit, but I couldn't think of anything
" Beats me..." I said with a shrug
" Aya" I called out to our currently only Lance, who will hopefully soon get a companion since we plan on making that little twerp Alea into our second one
In the next moment, as if out of nowhere, Aya appeared in front of me, kneeling on one knee
" You called me, Elder Virion" she said respectfully
" I have a mission for you" I said with smirk
