Siddharth walked towards Avneet's cabin after Ritwik lashing out at him,
He was frustrated, angry and disappointed as the past was again repeating itself, he opened the door only to find Jannat going through a file in her cabin's cabinet,
"Where's Avu? " He asked calm
"On the terrace! " Jannat replied rudely pushing him as she walked out the cabin.
He groaned frustrated on the way everyone were treating him, like he himself was a criminal
He ran towards the terrace, knowing that even if everyone was against him, his Avneet would always support him, he entered the terrace when he saw Avneet standing with her arms fold, her back facing him, he walked towards her tensed,
"Avu.. " He called her when she interrupted
"How it felt! " She chuckled not looking at him
Siddharth gazed her perplexed,
"How it felt to give a open live challenge to a brutal serial killer! " She gazed him disappointed
He chuckled astonished looking around,
"You are asking this! " He gazed her tucking hands in his pockets..
"Even though everyone's against me.. I didn't expect it from you Avni.. " Siddharth ranted disappointed, tears brimming his Hazel orbs
"So what you expected ! To accept this stupid decision of yours! " Avneet lashed furious
"Stupid decision! Saving lives of innocents is a stupid decision! " Siddharth yelled angry and disappointed
"Siddharth! " Avneet bursted as tears leaked her eyes
"When the hell are you gonna understand! " She yelled bursting into tears.
"This decisions of yours costs your family! " Avneet shouted
"13 years ago.. This same decision of yours costed Amaira when you had Brayden bailed out ! " Avneet lashed, tears leaking out continuously
"I freaking lost my daughter because of you ! Do you want to give Samaira and Samar now to that killer ! " Avneet yelled, but regretted immediately, she gazed Siddharth who chuckled disappointed, tears leaking his eyes
"Sid-" He interrupted
"You think so low of me.. " came his weak disappointed voice
"I didn't meant it.. Listen-" Avneet held his arm when he jerked her away stepping back
"Say truth Avu! " He ordered furious, tears leaking continuously
Avneet inhaled deeply looking in his eyes, his eyes portraying love, care and betrayal whereas her chocolaty pool filled with disappointment,
"Yes.. " Their eyes met, Siddharth exhaled shakily, numerous tears leaking out continuously
"Because I suffered ! I suffered seeing you lying helpless fighting against death in Coma ! I suffered the piercing questions of baby Samar and Samaira about their dad ! You were never in that place.. You would never understand how it feels to see your heartbeat sinking each passing day hopeless! " Avneet ended yelling pushing him as she ran in, she cried bad running inside leaving Siddharth in pain
He never knew that Avneet held him responsible for Amaira, her each word pierced his heart as daggers sucking his blood out..
He gulped controlling himself walking towards his cabin.
Avneet exhaled sharply collapsing on her chair, she wiped her tears off, sniffling and controlling herself just when her phone began to rang, she cleared her throat removing the phone from her pocket, it was a unknown number
"Hello.. " She picked the call up in a croaked voice
"Umm.. Are you Avneet Nigam? " She heard a lady's voice
She stiffened herself replying,
"Yeah.. Who's this? "
"I.. I'm Tanisha.. Tanisha Nair.. " Her heart skipped a beat hearing her, she straightened herself recalling
Tanisha.. The mother of Ahaana Nair whose report she had found in missing person's file with Siddharth's DNA matching with hers
"Why have you called me? " She asked in a cold tone, her blood boiling up
"I want to tell you something.. " She replied weakly
Avneet scoffed replying,
"I really don't wanna talk with you.. Neither about anything! " She was about to drop the call off when Tanisha blurted
"Ahaana is Amaira.. " She heard her panicked guilty voice
"Wh.. What? " Avneet asked shakily
"Meet me at Greenville Cafe at 7 "Tanisha gulped dropping the call off
Avneet's POV
How the hell is this even possible? I waved hand through my hair perplexed and feared..
Siddharth said.. That Ahaana isn't Amaira?!
Wait..!
Did he lie to me again!
It stricked me, I picked my phone up walking towards Jannat's Cabin.
Jannat's Cabin
Avneet barged inside furious with Ahaana's report file in her hand, Jannat was busy updating the case report on her laptop just when she slammed the file on her desk,
Her expression cold and furious sending shivers down Jannat's spine
"Ahaana Nair.. Tell the truth about her! " Avneet spatted angry
Jannat gulped straightening herself as she closed her laptop,
"Wh.. What truth are you talking about? " She acted perplexed
"Jaan! Is Ahaana Amaira? " Avneet exhaled sharply hoping for a lie, lie that Tanisha wasn't right... Lie that Siddharth was being truthful to her
"Avu-" When Avneet interrupted
"Jaan please! " She collapsed on the chair as tears made their way out burying her face in her palms
"I need truth.. I can't handle this messy Siddharth anymore" Jannat heard her weak, defeated voice
She got up the chair as she kneeled in front of Avneet, her eyes glistening with tears,
"Avu.. " Jannat croaked
"7 years before.. Exactly after 6 years Amaira was reported dead we had this new case about a girl aged 12 missing from the Sunrise Mental Asylum.. " Jannat added in a weak, shaky tone
"When we reached the asylum to inquire more.. Tab.. " Jannat teared up walking towards her laptop
Avneet exhaled shakily, she didn't knew when her eyes began to water, heart pounding fast
"They.. " She stopped staring her who closed her eyes tight, trying to calm herself up
"Continue.. I'm ready! " She exhaled deeply wiping her tears off
"They gave us this photo.. " She turned the laptop towards her showing her the photo
"Amu.. " The only word that escaped Avneet's mouth as tears began to leak out, her eyes on the pendant the girl was wearing whereas her palms covering her mouth shocked, she was blank.. Not knowing whether she should feel relieved and happy that her daughter reported dead 13 years ago was alive or she should feel outbursted and broken for Siddharth hiding such a critical truth of her life
She gazed Jannat exhaling shakily who gulped guilty not looking at her, tears glistening her eyes too,
"So pathetic you both are! " She ranted broken as she walked out the cabin furious, Jannat rested on the chair, closing her eyes tight rubbing her temples frustrated.
With Siddharth
"Means you all are also not with me, right? " Siddharth chuckled disappointed gazing Abhishek who was standing furious in front of him.
Sumedh settled on the couch whereas faisu standing on the door frustrated,
"Thing isn't about being with you Siddharth.. This case is a dead one.. " Faisu ranted irritated
"No cases are dead one.. Just this involving some higher officials doesn't make it a dead one! " He shouted frustrated
"Some higher officials? " Sumedh chuckled
"Are you even understanding the evidences we have in this bloody case? " He added disappointed by Siddharth
"That Tylenol..! Those stupid chits.. Nothing makes sense! " Sumedh yelled disappointed
"We have Aiden in our custody! We just need Brayden.. All truth can be out! " He yelled back
"It involves higher officials! People like Brayden are ants to them...! He would be dead by now! " Abhishek bursted out
"I just need to find Brayden and this case is done! " Siddharth replied in a broken, disappointed tone as he barged out the cabin
Avneet was standing out the cabin hearing their conversation, she sniffled gazing Siddharth who walked out the cabin furious along with his car keys,
"Everything we ever do is to trust you.. Then why do you keep creating mess! " She thought disappointed walking towards her cabin

Avneet reached the Greenville Cafe where she saw Tanisha settled on a corner table, her expression tensed and worried, she walked towards her settling on the chair in front,
"I thought you won't come.. " Tanisha sighed in relief seeing her
"It's just about my daughter.. Tell me everything and we're done! " Avneet replied rudely
Tanisha inhaled deeply looking around as she rested on the chair back,
"You're still same rudey! " She chuckled
"Rudey! " Avneet chuckled sarcastically
"How about the fact that my husband hides a very critical fact of my life from his own wife but it's known to someone who had a huge crush on him.." Avneet added in a broken defeated tone
"He just keeps you safe! " Tanisha sighed irritated
"This isn't what you call keeping safe! 13 years ago.. he bailed out Brayden again keeping me in a dark light and then it's revealed that he was my daughter's abductor! " She yelled disappointed
Tanisha closed her eyes exhaling deeply as Avneet chuckled biting her inner lip,
"You know.. Just.. I've had enough today.. Just tell whatever you know about my daughter.. " She replied in a serious stern tone
"I was your daughter's psychiatrist at Sunrise Mental asylum.. I think you know the backstory right? " Tanisha asked, Avneet nodded gazing her
"She had a very violent behavior whenever anyone would touch her that pendant and.. " She exhaled shakily remembering
"She was given shock therapy... " Tanisha gulped recalling, Avneet stiffened,
"Sh.. Shock therapy for what? " She asked in a croaked voice
"To erase off all her childhood memories, all the memories of her parents.. Her siblings.. " She replied as tears leaked out
"Shock therapy to a 5 year old kid? " Avneet broke miserably asking
Tanisha nodded helpless,
"When I joined that asylum.. She was 10 year old.."
Flashback
Tanisha entered her cabin where her case files were kept and Dr. Malhotra.. The former psychiatrist of Amaira was settled, she greeted smiling gently as she settled on her chair,
"Ahaana" The Case file read
"What's the case? " Tanisha asked confused going through the file
"She's a 10 year old girl on shock therapy past 5 years.. " He replied in a helpless tone..
"Shock therapy?! " Tanisha shakened
Dr. Malhotra nodded helpless,
"She approximately had 50 sessions of those therapy.. Par only 20% of her memory has been wiped off.. " He added
"It's illegal to give shock therapy to a 5 year old! " Tanisha sighed disappointed
"I know.. But she's daughter of someone our director knows.. We're helpless.. I've always reported that her memory has been wiped off.. But whenever she See's someone new.. She calls
" Daddie"... That's why I want you to treat her... Make her act that she has forgotten everything... "Dr Malhotra replied
Tanisha inhaled deeply going through the file, she walked towards Amaira's room, the security opened the door, it was a dark gloomy room where she was kept trapped, she was sitting on the bed weak and thin looking out the broken glass window of the room, barely any rays entering in, tears glistened Tanisha's eyes as soon as she saw her, she was just a helpless little girl..
" Daddie.. " She turned around hopeful with a chirping voice but her hopes crashed not finding Siddharth, she cuddled to her knees more shivering in fear
Tanisha walked towards her locking the door as she kneeled in front of her,
"No shocks! " Amaira bursted into tears snuggling into her knees, she was so terrified of the brutal torture to her that the only person she waited was Siddharth , her daddie.. Who would save her one day from the hell,
"It.. took 20 sessions for her to feel free with me.. To trust me.. " Tanisha sighed defeated
"When.. one day she told me everything.. About the accident.. Her birthday.. Her dad.. lying in blood pool.. Everything.. " Avneet sobbed helpless and defeated, she felt pathetic, a pathetic mother who wasn't even able to save her own daughter
"Then.. I decided to help her... I found out the records everything I could to find more about her when I came to know that she was daughter of my fiancee..the one whom I loved..." Tanisha croaked recalling
" Rohan.. Rohan Mehra.. " She revealed, Avneet immediately snapped gazing her
"Head of Intelligence department.. Rohan mehra?! " She asked flustered
Tanisha nodded exhaling deeply,
"And so I executed a plan.. "
With Siddharth
Siddharth entered a Medical, the chemist greeted him as he smiled nodding,
" How can I help you Sir? "He asked
" May I get sleeping pills.. "
Siddharth smiled.
