I am taking pictures of a sleeping pile of Compys while Darius is taking notes in a small notebook on the ground. Kenji walks over and stomps down scaring them, while saying, "shoo, you retro iguanas!"
Kenji grabs the towel, shaking it off. The dust goes all over Darius. Darius and I go up to Camp Kenji. Which was built. It has sleeping areas, a shower, storage, Weaponry, medical room, and a platform.
Kenji enters the shower, then whines, "yagh! Does this water ever get warm?"
Brooklyn is trying to sleep, Sammy is trying to open a can of fruit, Yaz limps down the stairs, Temperance is rebanaging her wounds. The stitches in her leg and forearm are already removed. But the stitches in her hand are still in.
____Temperance____
I walk down the stairs as Kenji says, "No mas agua. A little help," as he chucks a water jug out of the shower.
Darius tells him that he got it. Yaz wants Kenji to do it himself. I happen to agree with her. Darius shrugs and slides down to get more water. He calls out to us to get over to where he's at. The river is gone. Dried up.
"Where'd the water go?" asks Sammy.
Yaz says, "Why don't we ask Mr. 45-minute Shower?"
Kenji protested, " Hey, looking good is part of my brand. And no way I drained a whole river."
Brooklyn and Rebel go to the river bed. Brooklyn goes up.
"We better figure out what's up or we're gonna run out of water." says Darius. "Let's-"
Brooklyn shhs everyone. She says, "I hear that hum again."
Everyone groans.
Brooklyn continues, "The river must've been drowning it out. If I follow that, I can find-"
"Frozen patch of flowers." Everyone says in unison.
Brooklyn wants to look for the patch of frozen flowers because she wants to uncover Jurassic world. Sammy decides to join Brooklyn. Yaz wants to join her too. Yaz is mostly healed now while I still need to heal quite a bit.
Rebel says, "I can join you girls. I can help."
Darius says, "Great! You do that. Kenji and I will figure out why the river stopped."
Kenji says, "Kenji do what now?"
I roll my eyes. "If you want to keep your shower habit and have water for necessities, we are going to find out what's going on with the missing water."
Everyone looks at me.
"What?" I ask.
"I know that you are healing well. But- " says Sammy.
"Your hand still has stitches, so why don't you stay here while we deal with this." continues Brooklyn.
I roll my eyes, and say, "I can still do things."
"With a fractured wrist and stitched hand?" asks Yaz, with an eyebrow raised.
"Point taken. I will stay here," I say while shrugging my shoulders. I know with my injuries I would be nothing better than a walking neon sign that said 'I am the injured Dinosaur telepath. Come and get me and mother-hen me.'
"Besides this way someone is at camp," I say.
With that both groups set out on their missions with their respective weapons. I sigh and gently rub my wrist. With the stitched palm itching, I can't scratch it.
Suddenly, tingling in my head started. Then I could see through multiple dinosaurs round the island.
Zeroing in to two Stegosauruses fighting each other over territory. I picked one of them to look through. I can see Darius and Kenji hiding behind a tree stump that fell blocking the water fall. A Stegosaurus launched a rock at the tree. Darius ran in front of the tree, yelling to try to get the Stegosaurus's attention, and failing. Kenji runs to join him. Kenji whistled, which got their attention. A Stegosaurus begins to charge forward. Darius holds Kenji where the Stegosaurus needs to hit to remove the tree from the water's path. They move out of the way when the Stegosaurus raises its thagomizer up, ready to strike them. The thagomizer hit perfectly, knocking the tree out of the way. Letting the water flow.
(A.N. Sorry that this is taking so long but be a little patience, please. I am feeling a little better after my grandfather passed on. I am starting to work on this and other Fanfictions that are coming soon. Mainly, a Ghost OC, a paranormal awaking au fanfictions, and more.
