Ellie's POV
I left the room and went and sat down where we were with Phil last night, his guitar was still there. I noticed, however, that his backpack was not there, so I went around the theater looking for him.
At one point I saw Jesse
"Hey Jesse."
"Oh hi Ellie" He replied
"Have you by any chance seen Phil? I can't find him"
"Phil? Um- He- No, I haven't seen him"
"Jesse, you were never good at lying, spit it out"
"Well, here- He- He went to the hospital, looking for a WLF- He said about someone named Nora"
My hands began to shake, I was worried since he had left me alone without telling me anything
"What do you mean? And you didn't go with him?" I asked
"I wanted to go, but he told me to stay here to protect you and Dina, his orders"
"Fuck-" I said and sat down waiting for him to return safely
Phil's POV
I climbed to a rooftop and could make out the hospital in the distance
"Bingo" I exclaimed.
So I climbed down from that roof and went through some stores, finding some ammunition and useful things. At one puto a big guy with a huge axe popped up, I tried to knock him out but he didn't move an inch. He threw me to the ground and tried to hit me with his axe, but I managed to pull out my gun in time and fire a shot right between his eyes, taking him out.
"Damn man, that was close" I sighed as I got up from the ground.
As I continued on my way, I saw some guys dressed in brown suits, whistling at each other.
"Who the fuck are these guys? Why the hell are they whistling?" I asked myself.
I then climbed up to a window but heard a whistle, and soon after a straight arrow in my right shoulder.
"Son of a bitch!" I shouted, trying to remove the arrow
I finally managed to take it out and bandaged my wound, which was still fresh and open.
I saw another, or maybe the same one, of the one who had shot the arrow at me; this time his back was turned, so I sneaked up on the bastard and grabbed him from behind, plugging his mouth.
"Come here you bastard" I dragged him into the house and tied him to a chair, blocking his mouth with a bandage
"You like spearing people with arrows, don't you?" I said, drawing my knife
"Let's see how you like it when they do it to you" Having said that, I stabbed him in the shoulder, and I could feel all his pain
"It's good isn't it? Isn't it beautiful? You bastard!" I shot him in the stomach and left him there to finish dying
I continued on, trying to avoid all those guys, and went through some houses. I looked out the window of a house and saw below a raging river, then suddenly a clicker trying to grab me pushed me down with him into the river. I took him out underwater and got out as quickly as I could to catch my breath, but I couldn't get out of the raging river. The water thus carried me into the sewers. I tried to get out of the sewers by first getting out of the water, which by now smelled dead.
"Nora, you better still be alive," I said.
I used a ladder and got out of the sewers, looked at the map and saw that I was near the hospital
"Found it!" I whispered
I continued on and found a girl sitting on her back, wearing headphones, listening to music. I approached her from behind and put the knife to her throat, not wanting to kill her
"Do you know Nora?"
"Yes, of course," She replied
"Where is she?" I asked
"Second floor, they are probably cleaning now"
I wanted to let her go, to she tried to grab my knife, but ended up cutting herself in the throat
"What a stupid move! I wanted to leave you alive"
I continued to the second floor and caught a glimpse of Nora's silhouette through the door, so I went in and closed it. I then drew my gun and pointed it at her, who was standing with her back to me.
"Nora"
She turned around
"Oh fuck, it's you"
"That's right, where is Abby?"
But she did not answer me
"If you pull that trigger, all the soldiers will come here" She said
"Where the fuck is Abby?" I began to become more aggressive
She threw a tray at me and ran away while I was stunned
"INTRUDER!" She shouted
I followed her and the soldiers fired at me, but they didn't hit. We ended up in an area full of spores, so I put on my mask and took Nora hostage
"Shoot me, and she dies!" I said to some soldiers pointing their guns at me
"Let her go! Now!" They said, but I didn't listen to them and jumped downstairs with Nora, and the guards followed me. I took out those soldiers who were left and approached Nora who was coughing on the floor because of the spores
"Where the fuck is Abby?" I asked, picking up a pipe from the floor
"I would still be dead, what difference would it make if I told you?" She answered
"Because I could make it quick, or make it much worse" I said
But she didn't answer me, so I hit her arms with the pipe, breaking them. I broke her hips and legs until she told me where Abby was. Finally I put her out of her misery with a well-aimed hit to the head.

I went back to the theater and knocked on the door, and Jesse opened it for me
"Shit Phil, is that your blood?"
"No relax, I just settled the score with Nora" I replied under my breath
I pulled out the map and pointed to the aquarium
"She is located here" I said
Meanwhile, Ellie arrived
"Phil!" She called out to me and I turned around
"Ellie!"
"Holy shit, are you okay? You're full of blood!" She exclaimed
"Take it easy, I'm fine," I replied.
Ellie took the map and I walked away, she followed and took me by the hand, leading me to the room where I had medicated her last time.
"Sit down" She said, and I did so.
She took off my shirt to clean my wounds and saw the wound caused by the arrow
" Holy shit Phil, how did you do that to yourself?"
"An arrow" I said, and she was amazed
She cleaned my wounds with alcohol, which burned like hell. As she finished there was a silence, we looked into each other's eyes, and she kissed my wound. There I began to cry
"Ellie sorry I left you here alone, it's just that this could have happened to you, and I don't want to" I said pointing to the arrow wound
"I don't want to lose you again Phil" She said hugging me
"You won't"
After we finished, we left the room and I sat down and tried to play the guitar. Still trembling, Ellie walked towards me with some water
"Here, relax"
"Thank you" I said, drinking the water
Then she took the guitar and moved it
"Now you'd better rest" She said and sat on my lap
"Ah fuck-" I winced
"Oh sorry!" She said
"Don't worry about it Ellie" I replied looking down
There was a bit of silence, in which she was hugging me, but she broke it by saying
"I still remember the time I fell in love with you"
"Really? Let's hear it" I replied
"Well, it all started when I first met you-I had noticed that you had something extra, something good. You weren't like the others, you were caring towards me, even if you didn't know me. It was the first time someone was really caring of me. There my heart melted, you always out me ahead of you, in every decision you made. And I believe in what you said"
"What did I say?" I asked
"You said that you would give your life if necessary, to save mine" She said
"Yeah, that's correct, why wouldn't I do that. You're the most important person in my life, and I don't want to lose you" I replied and then we kissed
After a bit, we pulled away
"Whatever happens, we stick together" Ellie said looking into my eyes as I nodded
"So when are we going to the aquarium?" I asked her
"For now I need you to rest, you're hurt"
"Thanks Ellie" I said kissing the top of her head
"You're welcome babe"
We then stayed there, just enjoying each others presence, but after a bit Jesse walked to us
"Hey- Oh" He was a bit confused as she saw us that way, but he continued speaking
"When are you two heading out?"
"Give us like 20 to 30 minutes, and we're going" I said as he put thumbs up and went away
That 30 minutes were amazing: we kissed, hugged and cuddled. It was really needed, really worth it. Once the time passed, we got up and were ready to go.
