Phil's POV
I woke up, still hearing the radio, but Ellie was still asleep on top of me. So I gently moved her and walked up to the radio room. I went in and saw that Dina was sitting in there, and she was on the radio.
"Good morning, what does the radio say?" I asked
"Good morning" She replied in an irritated voice
Maybe she was pissed at me, maybe at Ellie, maybe just at yesterday's situation, who knew. I approached her, trying to understand why she was so
"What the fuck do you want?" She asked
"Why are you so pissed off today? What the hell did I do to you?" I asked
"Nothing, I'm not pissed off at you" he replied.
"Ah okay, so you would be saying that you are pissed off at Ellie?" I said pressing her
"Yes, but it's none of your damn business!" She replied
"It's none of my fucking business? You literally broke Ellie's heart, you kissed Jesse, you made a crazy mess, and that's none of my fucking business?" I asked, getting pissed off as well
"What do you have that I don't have? Why did Ellie seem more attached to you than to me every time? What the fuck do you care about Ellie?" She asked, and I did nothing but notice her jealousy
"Listen, Ellie has always loved me; she only fell in love with you because she thought I was dead dammit!" I said and then added
"So do me the fucking favor of calming down now, because you're not fucking right at all!"
After this she calmed down and asked me
"What did she tell you about me?"
"Why?" I asked
"Because from the beginning you always seemed to be against me" She replied
"I was never against you! I never hated you! Why did you always hate me instead? What the fuck did I do wrong to you?" I replied
"I was worried about Ellie, I had seen how violent you had been with those two WLFs you bled. I didn't want Ellie to be near someone like you, you're fucking dangerous!" She said
"I'm dangerous? If I was as you say, maybe I wouldn't have taken you out by now? As you see no, because I don't give a fuck about taking you out or hurling myself at you!" I replied
"Well, actually you might be right" She said
"But that doesn't take away from the fact that you-" She interrupted as she saw Ellie walk in
"Dina what the fuck?" You still keep picking on him?" Said Ellie
"Calm down Ellie, Dina and I have already discussed and we are okay-" I said but Ellie cut me off
"I know, I heard everything"
"But weren't you sleeping?" Dina asked
"Apparently not! And now Phil if you don't mind, I should have a little talk with Dina" Ellie replied
"Okay, but don't kill each other" I said as I left the room
Ellie and Dina began to argue, and I must say that even standing outside, I could hear what they were saying.
Ellie's POV
Phil left the room and closed the door
"So what do you want?" Dina asked
"I'll be very quick" I said
"Okay, then talk" Dina said in an irritated voice.
So I sat down in front of her
"First, don't you dare address Phil like that!"
"What the fuck do you care how I talk to others?" Replied Dina, pissing me off a little
"What the fuck do I care? First, maybe because he's my boyfriend so I care; second, you've never acted like that to anyone, can you tell me what the fuck he did to you?" I replied
"He's not the problem!" Said Dina
"Then why the fuck are you against him?" I said, then added
"If I'm the problem, fucking tell me! Every fucking time you've done nothing but throw shit at him to make him look like the bad guy"
"Did you also see what he did to those two WLFs? How the fuck can you trust him?" She asked
"Dina you don't know all the shit he's been through, how much he fucking cares about me. So please SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" I replied, making her blood run cold, then continued
"HE LOST HIS FATHER WHEN HE WAS NINE FUCKING YEARS OLD! HE HAD TO FEND FOR HIMSELF UNTIL HE MET ME AND JOEL!"
"Ellie, but I didn't know that!" Dina replied, trying to calm me down, but in fact it pissed me off even more
"Exactly that you didn't know, how the fuck dare you label him a thug, a murderer, a lunatic. HE WOULD GIVE HIS LIFE FOR ME, AND HE WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DO IT FOR YOU TOO, KNOWING THAT I CARED ABOUT YOU!" I replied, going out of my mind
At that moment she was silent, but then she broke the silence
"Ellie- I- Shit, what does he have that I don't have?"
"A FUCKING HEART CAPABLE OF LOVING OTHER PEOPLE, UNLIKE YOU!" I replied, pounding my fists on the table
"You've always hated him, admit it!" I said looking into her eyes
"Yes, I always hated him, but because I was jealous of your relationship!" She replied
"Then why the fuck did you kiss Jesse if you cared about me?" I asked her
"I just missed him, that's all. I was worried about him" She said and then asked
"You don't want me to believe that you didn't kiss Phil, do you?
"WELL YES, BUT AFTER I SAW YOU CHEATING ON ME IN FRONT OF MY EYES!"
"Said the pot to the kettle!" She replied, pissing me off
"HE AT LEAST A KISS OF MINE RATED IT 10, NOT 6 LIKE YOU, HYPOCRITE!"
Phil burst in, fearing that something had happened
"QUIET! BE CALM! PLEASE!"
"Take it easy Phil, she wouldn't kill me" Dina said jokingly
"This is no fucking time to joke Dina!" I replied and then continued
"Phil, please leave us alone for a moment, then I will leave her alone"
"All right, but be calm. Do you know where Jesse is?" Phil asked
"He is sleeping" Said Dina
"Okay" He replied and closed the door
"Well, where were we?" Dina asked
"We were getting to the fact that I don't want to have anything more to do with you! Sentimentally speaking, I obviously need you in my team." I said and then left the room, slamming the door. I had finally let off steam, and I felt lighter.
Phil's POV
--- A couple of minutes earlier ---
I left the room hoping Ellie wouldn't fuck up, and looked for Jesse who was sleeping. I was a little worried about the situation between Dina and Ellie.
'Dina- I swear if you fuck up towards Ellie-' I whispered to myself.
I got to the closet where Jesse was sleeping, but he was already awake
"Good morning."
"Oh good morning Phil" He replied
"Do you know anything about what the radio said?"
"No, try asking Dina though, she should know something" He told me.
"Ok alright, see you later" I replied
So I went back to the radio room, hoping Dina would know something
"Excuse me Dina, do you know anything about what was on the radio?"
"They talked about someone named Nora, she would be in the hospital, here is her picture" She replied
"Thank you" I took the picture and went to Jesse
"Jesse, good news"
"Let's hear it"
"There is a certain Nora, at the hospital, I'm going to look for her"
"Perfect, let me get my backpack and let's go"
"No you will stay here, you have Dina to protect, and please- Take care of Ellie"
"Okay, all right. Just try to come back in one piece"
"Count on it" I said and started toward the hospital, leaving Ellie safe at the theater.
