Raid's POV .
Year 4 .
Flashback .
" You want my mom to talk to your dad again , Brian . " - Pakeeza states picking up the books the boy had intentionally made drop .
" You wouldn't . " -
" Oh I would , don't you remember my mom telling you not to bully me anymore . " -
Even though her gaze seemed lowered , she still sounds confident .
Brian seems to storm away with his entourage obviously in rage .
I then decide to approach the Muslim girl .
" Hey , that was pretty cool . " - I compliment but she still doesn't look up , she is still focused on cover of her chemistry textbook .
" Yeah , just throw the old my mom is a lawyer and they get scared . " - she smiles .
" umm * scratches head * I'm new here and was wondering if you would show me around . " -
" oh ... sorry I can't , I have plans with my best friend but I know someone who could . Welcome to Berry High by the way ! " -
" Pakeeza ! " a girl yells from the end of the hall .
" I have to go now , bye ! " - she runs off before I could even tell her my name .
And if I know myself that well which I do , I remember crushing on her when she once again refused to go on an ice cream treat with me .
End of flashback .
" So you crushed on her because she kept rejecting you . " - Rahmat teases .
" Maybe but then she apologised with a cookie the next day ." -
" * smiles * So what now ? " -
" I guess I was too late , her heart had already been taken when I arrived . So right now I'm just waiting for her to wake up so I can bid my final farewell . " -
" I'm proud of you . " -
We both turn to look at Pakeeza who now has oxygen tank aiding her breathing .
" She's going to be alright , Raid . " -
