Kyoko and Aoi was in her room and studied as the fairies played with cards. "There. We should be ready for math quiz tomorrow." Aoi said and smiled. "Yeah. But what if I mess up anyway then I'll fail and have to redo the year. I'm gonna be an old woman." Kyoko said and flopped her face in the bed.
Aoi giggled and got an idea. "I know." She said and pulled something out of her pocket. Kyoko looked up and saw a necklace. It had a gold chain and a lily hanging. "This necklace will give you luck. It's what I uses when I'm gonna talk infront of others." Aoi said and put it on Kyoko who smiled at it. "It's beautiful. Thank you." Kyoko said and hugged her friend. "You can give it back after school tomorrow." Aoi suggested and Kyoko nodded.
Later Aoi went home with Yangso and left Kyoko staring at the necklace. "It's a very beautiful necklace-yi." Yinsy said. "Yeah. And it's my responsibility to make sure nothing happens to it." Kyoko said and went to bed. The next she walked to school with the necklace around her neck. She smiled brightly as she walked through the park. "I'm so ready for the math quiz. I'm gonna nail it." She said yawning.
As she yawned her foot got caught on a root and she fell to the ground. "Are you okay-yi?" Yinsy asked as Kyoko stood up and dusted herself off. "I'm okay. Just need to be more careful where I step. Let's go." She answered happily and continued to walk to school. Not noticing that she left something in a bush.
Meanwhile in the darkened kingdom was Carlos doing tricks in his gym. He jumped back and forth while waving his arm and making weird sounds. "You pretty cures think you're so tough? Well how about this?" He said and did a front flip, only to land on his face. Calypso walked in and shook her head. "You're hopeless. Go out and look for light orbs." She said and Carlos quickly stood up in embarrassment. "Yes my queen." He said and ran out while Calypso shook her head.
Kyoko and Aoi walked out of their classroom after the quiz and smiled. "It wasn't as hard as I thought." Kyoko said sighing in relief. "Yeah. You can thank the necklace. It made you more calm, which made you concentrate." Aoi said as they walked into the courtyard. "Yep it's all thanks the the necklace." Kyoko said and put a hand where the necklace where.
But she then felt how it was completely empty at the place. That's when she realised that the necklace was gone. "I'm just gonna grab my book. I'll be right back." She said and ran off, leaving both Aoi and Yangso confused. She managed to find a place to hide. "I lost Aoi's necklace!" She yelled and Yinsy tried to calm her down. "Calm down. We just need tell her and she'll help us find it-yi." Yinsy said and Kyoko looked at her. "No! I can't tell her I lost it. She gave it to me in trust. If she finds out I lost something special of her. Then she'll stop being my friend." Kyoko said thinking about Aoi walking away from her mad.
Just then she got a small knock on her head. "Don't worry-yi. Aoi is your best friend and would never leave you for something like that-yi." Yinsy said and Kyoko looked down a little conflicted. Then something hit her. "I know. After school, I'll quickly go to the park, find the necklace and return it without Aoi even knowing it was lost." Kyoko said imagining her doing just so. Yinsy didn't know how to feel about that.
Aoi was eating her lunch and Yangso sat on her lap. "Why didn't you tell Kyoko that you found your necklace in the bush-ya?" He asked and Aoi smiled. "Because. I want Kyoko to not be afraid of telling me if she lost something of mine. When she confess, then I tell her." Aoi said and Yangso smiled at that idea. He knew that part of being friends was that you must confess if you've done something wrong. And he was more proud that his pretty cure was smart and cunning.
The school day went by and Kyoko quickly ran towards the park to start looking for the necklace. "Where is it? Did I fall there or there? Why does the park need to be so big!?" She said while looking as Yinsy looked concerned. Aoi stood some distance away and started to feel bad. "Maybe I should tell her." She said and Yangso flew infront of her. "Wait-ya. Remember that she needs to learn-ya." He said and Aoi reluctantly nodded.
Right outside the park was a man around twenty walking with a beautiful necklace with a glass heart on it. "This necklace really matches my eyes. And with it I know I'll get the modeling job tomorrow." He said and a yellow light appered around him. Carlos saw this from the other side of the street and smiled. He walked over the road and almost got hit by a car.
When he came to the other side, he smiled and took up a dark pendant with a round hole in the middle. "Lights out!" He said and a yellow light orb flew out of the man and into the pendant, making his eyes darken. "Modeling is stupid. Just like my dream." He said and walked off as Carlos smiled.
Yinsy and Yangso felt that a light orb was stolen and told the girls. They ran outside of the park and saw Carlos. "Carlos!" Kyoko yelled and Carlos turned to them. "Return the light orb!" Aoi said. "Sure. Here you go." Carlos smirked and held up the pendant. "Rise from the darkness. Go forth, Darkaro!" Carlos yelled and the yellow light orb turned black before flying out and turned into a monster that looked like a glass heart with a chain, face and limbs. "Darkaro!" It yelled. Kyoko and Aoi looked at eachother. "Let's go!" They both said and the fairies nodded.
The girls and fairies flew around in a pink and blue void and smiled. "Inner lights. Illuminate!" They all shouted and lights appeared from them, making a pink and blue round crystals. "Yinsy." Kyoko started. "Yangso." Aoi then added. "Change up!" They both said and the fairies shined before turning into a round circles with a hole in the middle. Their arms and heads was still there, together with Yangso's tail. "Light crystal ready." Kyoko and Aoi said before throwing the crystals at the fairies who caught them in their arms.
The crystals glew and the girls grabbed respective fairy. "Pretty cure, light up!" They all shouted and light appered around them. Their outfits appeared. It was their gloves, dresses, shoes, earrings and necklaces. Then their hair changed too. Yinsy and Yangso then flew onto the girl's waists, where Yinsy earned a pat on the head. And Yangso earned a high five.
Kyoko landed on the ground with cherry blossoms flying from her. "The blooming light of passion. Cure Sakura!" She said and did her pose.
Aoi landed on the ground with water drops flying from her. "The splashing light of wisdom. Cure Afrodite!" She said and did her pose.
"We ninja of light will protect everyone's shining hopes and dreams." They both started and stood in a pink and blue void. "Ninja light, pretty cure!" They ended and pink and blue sparks appered around them.
The cures jumped into the air and started to fight the Darkaro. "You think it's gonna be easy? Darkaro, show them what you can do!" Carlos said and the Darkaro's heart body started to glow before sending a ray of red light at the cures, knocking them back. Carlos just laughed as they stood up.
"What are we gonna do?" Sakura said. Afrodite looked at the Darkaro and saw the chain. "Let's used the chain. You grab one side and I grab the other. But first we need to cut it." She said and Sakura nodded.
They jumped into the air and activated their attacks.
Cherry blossom flowers appered around Sakura and and turned into shurikens. "Sakura shurikens!" She yelled and realised her attack at the chain.
A stream of water appered infront of Afrodite before turning into a bow. She grabbed it and aimed for the roots. "Afrodite arrows!" She yelled and realised a swarm off arrows at the chain.
Both attacks hit and the chain was cut. They quickly grabbed each end and started to spin the Darkaro around fast. "Hey stop that!" Carlos yelled and the cures smirked. "Ok." Sakura said and they let go, making the Darkaro fly right on top of Carlos knocked out. "Wanna finish it Afrodite?" Sakura said and Afrodite nodded.
She held one of her hands on her head and made dots of light with the other. "Let the wisdom flow." She said and the dots turned into bubbles. She held both her hands up and made the bubbles gather. "Pretty cure. Afrodite bubble wave!" She yelled and pushed her hands forward, making a wave of bubbles hit the Darkaro.
It exploded into light, making the yellow light orb fly back into the man, which made his eyes turn back to normal as his hopes and dreams came back.
Carlos stood up a little dizzy. "I'll get you next time." He said still dizzy and teleported away. The cures transformed back into their civilian forms and walked home. Kyoko looked at Aoi and then decided. "Aoi. There's something I have to tell you." She said and Aoi looked at her. "What is it?" She asked. Kyoko took a deep breath and her words came spilling out.
"I lost your necklace when I was walking to school. A root tripped me and it must have flew off my neck and I didn't notice untill lunchtime. Please forgive me." She said and closed her eyes. Just then she heard Aoi laugh and looked up. "What's funny?" She asked. "Well. I allready knew that." Aoi said and Kyoko's eyes widend in shock. "I found my necklace in a bush. And I wanned you to confess. Because I don't want you to be scared of telling me that you lost something of mine." She said and Kyoko started to laugh too.
"You're right. I should have told you right away. I'm sorry." Kyoko laughed and Aoi hugged her. "I forgive you." She said and they both then sepereted from the hug. Kyoko looked at Aoi with a mischievous face. "Well. I forgive you too. But you better run." She said and Aoi gulped before starting to run. They both laughed as they ran.
