even if they weren't necessarily talking, clearly they didn't need to in the first place. holding hands together gently, he was so comfortable and sweet. what did she do in her past life to deserve such a sweetheart. god, she was so hopelessly in love with him. leaning a bit into him, she couldn't help but feel that same old fluttering feeling in her chest.

it was clear that he was tired. as much as he smiled and was trying to keep his energy up, he was evidently exhausted pretty consistently. she just wanted to hold his face and tell him it's all okay. "right now?" she nodded.

"how do i look?" he hummed, pulling at the jacket clutching his sides. he didn't know what to think about this, whole, fit. he wasn't sure what to buy and the other seemed too distracted to pay attention fully. "you look nice." she smiled lightly, as she had been for the last few hours. have they been out having fun all day? absolutely. but the female who brought them here was not having it.
frowning, he slipped it off and tucked it into its hanger. "that's what you've been saying for everything eevee." grinding his back teeth, this was disappointing. how was he suppose to get things that the girl liked if he was getting lukewarm responses. seeing her eyes widen, she huffed out a breath before pulling his shoulder down towards her.
leaning in, he could barely balance himself. damn why was she so strong all of a sudden. feeling his face get cupped and eventually squished, his eyes peered down to her perfect sparkling eyes and speckled sunspots. "do you think i'd say that if it wasn't true? you look great in everything that you're in because i think you're beautiful." feeling his face warm up, she dragged his face down and left a kiss on his nose before scurrying away to get him more clothes to try on.
holding his hand over his mouth, he had no idea how to function. how does he? did she just? just? oh my god. she was so cute. holy shit. she called me beautiful. the girl of my dreams called me beautiful. he felt star struck and over the moon. it was so hard recovering from that. touching his nose, the warm feeling swirled in his chest like fireplace warmth.
he was pretty self critical of himself, but with her. he felt like he could do anything without much worry when he was with her. she made him feel safe, and my god was it addicting.
feeling giddily, he thought about the moment a little bit more. she kissed my nose, her lips are soft. she kissed my nose. she kissed me. i want to kiss every freckle on her face. she kissed me. he was going through mayhem in his mind and couldn't think straight anymore. hoping she wouldn't come back to him behaving like this. praying to a god who was already granting so much for him.
