As an answer to the heading, yes. I think I made an art breakthrough.
What does that mean you ask? Well, in my words, it's when you look at your art and are satisfied. You found your style and are happy with it.
As of right now, I'm satisfied with my human art style. Cats, however, still very much working on it!
>w<
Alright- Onto the actual art!
This one connects to the art below- So sorry for the horribly written captions, my handwriting isn't usually that bad-
Ohohoho- Here's Smoke as a human! Maybe I'm very proud of this drawing just because I changed the hairstyle, but in my opinion, he matches my masculinity scale- Really satisfactory, I love it ^^
Alright, so I've gotten into the fandom of Countryhumans- Yeah- I absolutely adore the concepts of having worldwide countries as humans with personality traits. Also love the ship Rusame, it's just so adorable with the two completely different personality types. In the drawing above, I'm not a huge fan of America's hair or eyes-
AHA! So here's my human style, back at it again. This one was in the makings of my breakthrough, but it was a part of the bridge that got me to where I am now! Her eyes are kinda large, but that's really it for criticism.
YESSS-
This is the very beginning of the breakthrough! Absolutely loving the new style, and it took me quite a while to figure out what I did differently to make her look satisfactory.
Alright, so I made this new character building challenge, where I ask my friends physical traits and I draw it together to make a character! Male or female, pose and expression, hairstyle, clothing and accessories, and anything else! Here's what we turned out with- One thing is for the clothing, they wanted him freaking shirtless-
Another character made with the challenge! She's actually pretty cool looking if I do say so myself :D
So I drew my school friend! Of course, I won't say her name. She's super pretty and I decided to use some colored pencils since I haven't used them in a while.
Here's another friend! Also super pretty, I decided to draw and color her!
My gym teacher! He's so fun and just an amazing teacher in general, so I drew him!
I draw people that are chill hehe B)
A rando classmate- Not really a fan of this drawing-
Smoke again! He looks more like an adult this time, which of course, I like the previous one more, but I also like this one!
Ah yes, this duo- So this boy was created from the character creator challenge I made! This is Parker, the workaholic. Also, possibly forgot to tell you all but I think I can draw males decently now!
Here's Freya, another character created from the character creator challenge, which is the ultimate procrastinator and just a silly little bundle of fun. Polar opposites to her brother Parker.
gAsP sHe'S hIs sIsTeR?!
Yep. You are very much correct-
Im finishing up a little short comic with them in it, so stay tuned for that!
Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day/night and everything in between!
