Outside, I heard the crunch of gravel underneath the wheels of the car as it pulled up on the driveway. Immediately, I hopped up,
"Danielle," I said without actually looking at her, "Could you take Annalise for a minute?"
"Yeah," Danielle replied whilst taking Annalise into her arms, "Hello," She cooed with her baby voice,
Pausing for a second, I opened the front door where I saw Zayn with a raised arm as if he were about to knock on the front door, "Harry's still in the car," He said pointing behind him,
Niall came up behind him and pushed him into the house, silently, I nodded and stepped outside without any shoes on my feet. The cold bit at my bare arms and pimples rose on my skin so that I looked like a chicken that had been freshly plucked,
On my way to the car, I passed Liam and Louis who smiled at me sheepishly. Ignoring them, I abruptly stopped,
Harry stepped out the driver's seat of the car, something crossed his face and I couldn't tell whether it was shock or the fact that he was scared, "Bobbie I-"
Interrupting him, I leapt onto him and crashed my lips into his. Luckily for me, Harry caught me wrapping his arms around me to stop me from falling backwards,
"I'm sorry if I..."
"Do you ever shut up?" I asked with a grin before kissing him again,
Harry pulled back so he could look into my eyes, "So you're not angry, with me?" He asked hesitantly,
I shook my head, "No," I sighed, "I could never be angry, lucky for you huh?"
"Very," Harry smirked and smashed his lips back onto mine with blazing lust,
"I forgot to mention something," I gasped roping the lost air back into my lungs, Harry stared at me for an answer but in his eyes, I could see him growing impatient and just wanting to kiss me again, "I forgot to tell you..." I murmured looking down, "That I love you too," I mumbled,
From the corner of my eye, I saw Harry's lips curve upward. He pressed his forehead onto mine and rubbed his nose against my own, "I'm glad to hear that," Then, he kissed me again and without a second thought, I kissed him back,
"My god," Harry gasped, "You're freezing,"
I shrugged, the cold seemed to have of rubbed off as soon as Harry started kissing me and a warm fuzzy tingle shimmered through my body,
"Let's get you inside," Harry didn't put me on the ground, instead, he adjusted me so that I lay in his arms,
"How romantic," I mused, Harry chuckled softly, I kicked the front door open with my foot and then Harry put me onto the floor, "Why thank you," I grinned,
"No problem," Harry kissed my head and then intertwining his fingers with my own we walked into the front room,
All eyes were suddenly on us, "So are you two definitely on?" Liam asked hesitantly,
Harry smiled down at me and squeezed my hand, "Yeah,"
"Yay!" Perrie clapped Jaime's little hands together, "I'm so happy for you two!"
"Yeah," Niall snorted, "It's about time," I stuck my tongue out at him just as Zayn hit him over the head,
"Bobbie," Eleanor then summoned me to the sofa, letting go of Harry's hand I walked over to her, "Could you take Noelle?"
"Of course," Despite my delayed reply Eleanor was already thrusting Noelle at me, "Are you alright?" I asked placing Noelle on my hip,
Eleanor nodded looking off-colour, "Yeah, I'm just not feeling too good. Can you help me up?" I took one of her hands, Louis hurried over and the two of us hauled her up, "Thanks," She breathed, Eleanor then started to waddle out of the front room,
"Do you want me to come with you, El?"
"You don't have to," She called back, Louis smiled at us before going after her, the two of them disappeared upstairs,
Harry cleared his throat, "Um Bobbie," I turned to him, "Shall we put the girls to bed?" He asked,
"It's a bit early isn't it?" I asked glancing at the clock on the mantelpiece, I watched as Danielle shrugged her shoulders toward him, "Alright, you grab the other two,"
With a smile, Harry picked up Annalise and Jaime in either arm, "Come on then," He grinned at me and I followed him upstairs,
As we arrived outside the girls' room, I paused and listened for only a second at Louis and Eleanor's voices coming from his room, just to make sure she was alright, then, I followed Harry into their darkening room,
Shutting the door behind me, I placed Noelle down in her cot and then took Jaime from Harry and put her down so that we could change Annalise first,
That's what we did, using our normal system, Harry changed the girls while I put them down, once we'd done all three, I hoped that they'd just sleep. But, as I put the last, Jaime down into her cot with a quick kiss and cuddle, Annalise burst into sobs,
"Damn," I heard Harry mutter under his breath,
Softly rocking Annalise back and forth, I turned to him, "What's up with you?"
Harry ran his fingers through his hair as if he were frustrated, "Nothing," He sighed turning his frown into a smile, "Nothing,"
Nodding but not feeling too convinced, I continued to comfort Annalise until eventually, fifteen minutes later, she fell asleep in my arms,
"Ssh," I whispered, Harry nodded and gripping my hand pulled me silently out of the room,
With smiles on our faces, I softly shut the door behind Harry and paused, our eyes flickered and I crossed my fingers. Silence.
"Thank god," Harry grinned, "They're asleep," He pulled me into his chest,
"What's going on?" I asked unsurely, "Why are you acting so oddly suddenly?"
Harry breathed heavily, "Don't be mad alright?"
"Ok," I stretched the word out and Harry picked me up, just by my waist as if I were incapable, down the stairs he stopped and gave me a comforting smile,
He then with one hand on my shoulder, used his other to push open the newly shut front room door to reveal darkness,
Feeling more then confused, I looked up at Harry which was when the lights flicked on, "Surprise!" The excited cries called out making me jump,
"What..." I gasped,
The front room was filled to the brim with smiling faces however not many familiar, a few of the only ones that I recognised was of Ed and the three other girls in Perrie's band who I had only ever seen briefly in photos before,
"Let's get this party started!" Harry announced, the music started pounding, "You didn't think we'd forget your eighteenth did you?"
"I thought..." I trailed off,
"I could never forget," Harry breathed tracing a finger over my cheek, with a cheesy grin, I walked further into the heart of the room,
Danielle jumped up to me, "Did we surprise you?" She asked whilst handing me a beautifully wrapped present,
"Thank you," I smiled gratefully, "And yes, this is the last thing I would've expected,"
"Bobbie," Perrie smiled, "These are the girls, Jade, Leigh-Anne, Jesy, and girls, this is Bobbie," We all murmured 'hello's' and they wished me a happy birthday before being whizzed off by Danielle to dance nearer the speaker,
The night continued with Niall eating most of the food and me and Harry using the majority of the time dancing to the music that I personally thought was too loud and hoped didn't disturb the girls, I couldn't hear them crying, so was satisfied,
Then, Harry bent down and whispered in my ear, "Come with me," He gripped my hand and led me through the crowd,
We got to the kitchen and I stopped thinking that was where he was taking me, I was wrong, Harry tugged at me again, "I thought..." I started but didn't finish my sentence as we continued but then stopped at the cupboard under the stairs, "What the...?"
"Come on," Harry opened the door and switched the light on, inside was a hoover, and lots of cleaning things that the boys always denied having which explained to me why the place was so dirty,
I stood inside the cupboard crouching down, my back and neck hurt with being in the uncomfortable position, "Now I know how Harry Potter feels," I muttered, Harry chuckled but also looked pained, I didn't think he predicted just how unpractical it was,
Harry shut the door and smiled, "I've got something for you," He smiled, I didn't say anything but just watched as he stretched on hand and reached it into his back pocket where he pulled out a small red box,
As soon as my eyes caught sight of it, my heart hammered hard in my chest and I almost choked on the spit in my throat, "Harry," I croaked,
He laughed at my dumbfounded expression, "It's not what you think sweetheart," He smiled and opened the box, inside, was a small shining silver band, "This, Bobbie, is not an engagement ring," I heard myself breathe a sigh of relief, "But, it is a promise ring. And I wanted to give it to you because I promise, to look after you, to protect you and do whatever I can for you...Because I want to show, how much I love you,"
"Oh Harry," I squealed like a schoolgirl and pressed my lips against his, Harry smiled, "One question though," Harry's eyebrow flickered, intrigued, "Which finger do I wear it on, because no offence, I don't want your fans thinking we're engaged because they'll go crazy at me,"
Holding up one of his fingers indicating me to wait for a second, he bit his lip and pulled out something from his front pocket, it was a chain,
"I thought that you could wear it on this," I smiled,
"You, Mr Styles, are a genius,"
Harry grinned, "I know," Carefully, he slipped the ring onto the chain, I then, shuffled around and he clasped it around my neck,
As the metal hit my skin, a shiver ran down my spine, I placed my arms around Harry's neck, and thanked him gratefully,
Then, suddenly, the door opened and Danielle's silhouette appeared at the doorway, "Oh," She gasped, "Sorry," She was about to close the door, but then didn't and reopened it, "Actually no, Bobbie. I need you right now."
"Now?" I asked hesitantly not wanting to leave Harry in such a magical moment,
"Yes, now!" She grabbed my arm and hauled me out of the cupboard rushing me into the kitchen I realised that most of the guests had already left,
In the kitchen, Eleanor was leaning against the sink, one hand gripping the side with a white knuckle whist the other flopped loosely by her side. Louis was there too looking very pale and honestly, a little scared,
"Bobbie," Eleanor wheezed, "My water's just broke,"
"Um..." I bit my lip,
Louis ran up to me, "What the hell do we do?" He cried out shaking my shoulders,
"First things first, Louis," I placed my hands on his cheeks, "We don't panic," I turned around to Harry, "Get the car keys, now,"
Nodding, Harry sprinted down the hallway. Then, I turned to Eleanor, "How are you feeling?"
Eleanor shrugged seeming fortunately calm, "Alright," She gasped and moved a hand to her stomach, I took her arm and began to guide her to the door, "Come with us," She uttered, "I need you there,"
"Ok," I said, Harry and I helped Eleanor put her shoes and coat on, Louis looked pale and trying to relax, for Eleanor's sake, "Perrie!" I called, she appeared in front of me almost immediately, "Can you look after the girls for me?"
"Of course," She smiled weakly,
"Who hasn't been drinking?" I asked,
"I haven't," Harry raised an arm,
I nodded, "You can drive us there, right?"
Copying my nod, Louis Harry, Eleanor and I walked out to the car. Eleanor climbed into the back with Louis and Harry jumped into the drivers' seat with me next to him,
"You ready El?" Louis asked finally regaining control of himself, "We're going to become parents..."
