"Ngh..." Azul groaned as he now finally woke up. The grey haired male looked around in a bit of a daze until he felt a certain female clutch at his arm making him blush a bit.
"She looks so peaceful..."
"Oh hey, you're awake." Floyd said as he now approached Azul.
"Azul, how many fingers am I holding up?" Jade said as he held up his five fingers in front of the male's face.
"Eh...eight?" Azul said, his response coming out as more a question rather than an answer.
"You're still in shock it seems, but your blot induced rampage has subsided at last." Jade said as he then smiled a bit in relief.
"That little tantrum you threw really put us
through the wringer you know." Leona said.
"Your the last person who should be talking..." Kanzaburou mumbled.
"Yea I kinda have to agree there...Leona, I'm not sure you get to say that." Ruggie said making the male roll his eyes.
"Especially after he tried to potentially kill Ruggie? Yea...that was a sight..."
"W...what did I do?" Azul said still sounding a bit confused.
"You overused your magic and Overblotted. You don't remember it?" Jade said.
"You were sucking everybody's magic dry left and right while bawling out, give me your power!" Floyd said as he mimicked the male. "It was the cringiest thing I've ever seen. I'm still not over it."
"Oh no....me? Going berserk? I don't believe
this..." Azul mumbled to him as he glanced to his side now watching as the raven haired female slowly sat up now awake.
"Yea, believe it.." (Y/N) said as she let go of the male.
"Tomioka sama you're ok!" Kanzaburou happily as he gently hugged the female before Grim soon joined him.
"Well not entirely..."
"Nice to see you're finally awake." Grim said as he smiled at the female.
"Thank you..."(Y/N) said before holding onto her wounded abdomen. "Senpai has a strong grip..." She mumbled to her making Azul's eyes widen as he stared at her in shock.
"W...what?"
"What the hell Azul?!"
"We'll make sure you're escorted safely to the infirmary in a bit and have that taken care of." Jade said as he gave the female a small smile.
"It'll just be a small bruise.." (Y/N) said as she now stood up from her spot.
"I agree with the uncooked unagi, small or not I'd rather you have yourself taken care of just in case." The raven haired male said now making (Y/N) nod as she finally gave in.

"Good luck Azul...you're gonna need it..."
Ruggie nodded now agreeing with Jade and Kanzaburou before glancing at Azul. "Hey, I can't exactly blame a guy for getting bent out of shape when something you've been building up for years gets ruined." The sandy blonde male said before letting out a sigh. "I mean if someone broke the coin bank I've been saving my money in I'd hold a grudge for life."
"But all those shady business dealings have gotta stop. You have to learn from this." Grim said.
"How about you guys learn not to coast through exams using someone else's notes?!" Jack exclaimed as he glared at Ace along with Deuce and Grim.
"However, it's still amazing..." (Y/N) suddenly said now earning everyone's attention. "No one else could have made those notes."
"Yea.." Kanzaburou nodded as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Even managed to help this lousy raccoon get an 85, that's actually pretty impressive."
"Hey!" Grim exclaimed as he glared at the male.
"What...?" Azul said.
"You know it's true. One all nighter reading that study guide you wrote was enough to bag me over a 90 on my exams." Ace said.
"Yea, it was seriously on point." Deuce said.
"I heard from the Headmage that you wrote that study guide yourself, analyzing a whole century's worth of test question trends. I'm still not ok with your shady practices, but your work took serious guts. That much I'll admit." Jack said.
"Hmph, your clumsy attempts at consolation aren't helping me in the least." Azul said as he gave them a small smile.
"Awww, what's the matter?" Floyd said now grinning at the grey haired male. "Are you getting a bit teary eyed Azul?"
"Dear me. You've gone back to that ink spewing crybaby again." Jade said.
"Hey, you two signed an NDA covering that
exact topic!" Azul exclaimed as he glared at the twins who simply smirked at him.
"Right you are. My mistake." Jade said.
"Oh yea, that reminds me..."Jack said before slightly trailing off a bit. "We've brought the photo of Prince Rielle you asked for. We got ahold of it. The sun hasn't set yet. I think that seals our victory."
"Oh right." (Y/N) said before taking out the picture from the chest pocket of her uniform. "Here's the picture." She said but simply raised an eyebrow as she noticed all eyes on her. "What..?"
"Uh...you have other pockets you know..." Ruggie mumbled as he looked away from the female now feeling slightly flustered.
"Yes. That's true, but here the twins would think twice before reaching for it." (Y/N) bluntly said as she opened the now folded picture.
"Unless they're perverts..."
"I don't know if I should call that a smart move or a really brave move on her part...."
"What's this? It's just some picture of a bunch of mermen fingerlings huddled in front of a camera." Leona said as he then stared at the picture.
"Is it some kind of group photo of an elementary school class? What did you want it for anyway?" Ruggie said as he stared at it with a look of slight confusion on his face.
"Ahaha!" Floyd laughed before grinning at the picture in the female's hands. "That takes me back! This is a picture from our school field trip." He said happily before pointing at the familiar teal haired kids. "Me and Jade are right here. And..." He then points to grey haired child in the picture. "See the kid sulking way off in the corner? That's....baby Azul!" He cheered.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed in unison, minus (Y/N) who stared at the picture with a flowery aura now surrounding her, making her almost immediately forget about the bit of pain she felt earlier.
"They were all so cute back then, both Azul and the twins!"
"Aaah!!! No! Don't look! Please don't look!" Azul exclaimed trying desperately to snatch the picture away from the female who simply hid behind a smirking Floyd.
"Heheh..."
"Well well, Azul. You sure are spirited all of a
sudden. Shouldn't you get a little more sleep?" Jade said as he gave him a close eyed smile. "Considering how far things have already gone, it would be easier for you to let this one go."
"Let's see here..." Ace said as he then looked at the picture as well.
"What's in the corner...?" Leona pointed out.
"Are you talking about the octopus who's more rounded than any of the merkids, even holding the pic at an angle?" Ruggie said.
"A baby Calamari." Kanzaburou said as he stared at the picture, a small smile now adorned his face.
"Whoa, Azul! I never knew you used to look like that!" Grim said as he stared from the picture and then at Azul.
"But look at just how cute he is..." (Y/N) said as she stared at the picture happily. "He's so cute and round..."
"AAAaaaAAAaaaAAAaaah!" Azul yelled out, his face now bright red upon hearing the female's comment.
"Hey hey Angelfish, what about me? Don't you think I was a cute kid?" Floyd asked as he lead over towards the female now looking over the picture happily.
"Of course.." (Y/N) said as she gave the male one of her rare close eyed smiles. "Both you and Jade were also very cute kids as well." She said before giving the male a headpat making his blush at the sudden contact before grinning at her.
"Much appreciated." Jade said as he smiled at the female, a small blush on his cheeks all while Floyd simply continued to let (Y/N) give his headpats.

"I...I get it. I totally get what you're feeling.
Everybody's got a past they wish they could
erase!" Deuce exclaimed before quickly looking away from the picture. "I saw nothing! Neither did the rest of you, ok?! Never speak of this again!"

"Yea no, I think I'll keep the picture for myself now..."
"Aaargh..." Azul groaned before finally letting out a small sigh. I was going to expand the Mostro Lounge with a branch café and simultaneously erase the shame of my boyhood. It was supposed to be the perfect plan! Two birds with one stone!"
"Hey, you know what they say, a rabbit in hand is worth two in the bush." Ruggie said.
"I got my schoolmates yearbooks and the
negatives from the photographers. I succeeded in laying claim to every single old photo of me through a whole web of deals, but there just wasn't any legal way to dispose of that last photo." Azul said.
"That doesn't mean it's cool to make other
people do your dirty work for you!" Grim
exclaimed as he glared at the male.
"I don't see the big deal really. I like the old
Azul." Floyd said as he smirked at Azul. "He'd make a better meal than the one we've got now." He said now grinning at the male.
"Don't say that." (Y/N) scolded as he lightly hit the male's arm making him pout.
"Ok..."
"That's not the point at all!" Azul cried out.
"You don't need to be that hung up on hiding it." (Y/N) said as she gave the grey haired male a small smile. "You put in a lot of work in what you do."
"This is the worst. I could crawl into an octopus pot right now." Azul said sadly.
"Anyway, we held up our end of the deal and brought the photo to you within the deadline you gave us. We've completely fulfilled your terms." Jack said.
"Yea, a real shame about the contracts getting sanded before we did." Grim said.
"But stealing just doesn't sit right with me." Jack said before looking at Azul. "Azul, you're a law abiding sort of guy right? Take some responsibility and return the picture back to where it belongs."
"Come on senpai..." (Y/N) said as she approached the male now smiling at him. "We can return it together."
"But first I'll find a way to duplicate this..."
"Fine." Azul said now averting his eyes from the female. "But at least let me switch it out for a version where I've been edited out of the picture."
"Hah. You just don't know when to let
something go." Leona said.
"He's right, you know. Records are a valuable treasure." Jade said.
"Come on, it's not that bad." The raven haired male said. "Besides, Tomioka sama seems to find the picture rather intriguing."
"Well, if it's a kid we're talking about of course she would..."
"Ooh, field trip! When do we go? We're going as a group, right?" Floyd happily said as he now smiled upon hearing the news. "I haven't been to the Atlantica Memorial Museum since our elementary school field trip. This is gonna rule!"

ground for?" Ace said as he stared at Grim who started sniffing around.
"My gourmet hunting instincts are telling
me that there's a pitch black treat as
delectable as a truffle around here!" Grim happily exclaimed.

"Myah! There it's a black stone! I found it! There's no fooling gourmet hunter Grim's nose!" Grim said.
"A black stone?" Leona said.
"Time to chow down!" Grim happily said before soon quickly eating the black stone. "Mmm, It's rich with a briny punch like salted squid guts. This would drive any discerning gourmand wild! Seriously top tier stuff!"
"You disgust me..." Kanzaburou mumbled as he stared at Grim before slowly shaking his head in disappointment.
"Really? You're eating off the ground again?" Deuce said.
"I gave up on telling him to stop a while now..." (Y/N) said as she now let out a small sigh.
"Feels like a waste of breath to even tell him to stop at this point. There's just no accounting for a monster's palate." Ace said.
"Hey, Does that weasel always pick up black stones off the ground and eat them?"
Leona said now earning the female's full attention as she gave him a small nod.
"Well...." The female trailed off before looking back at Grim who was simply smiling happily. "Grim can be such a glutton sometimes..."

"Really?" The male said as he stared at the female slightly surprised. "I wasn't trying to offer some cryptic clue or the like. Heh. In any case, I'm glad to know this garden will remain nice and quiet." He said as he gave her a close eyed smile. "Ashengrotto's calm features contorting in frustration must have been quite the sight. Would that I could have been a fly on the wall. Mm it seems I had best be returning to my dorm now. I bid you good night."
"Hm..he seemed almost in a rush...." (Y/N) hummed as she stared at the spot where the raven haired male once stood. "I hope he's ok..." She said to herself before soon hearing voices not too far away.
"Huh?"
"Well? Is he here?" Silver said.
"No, I don't believe he's present in the vicinity." Sebek said.
"Perhaps he's near the western schoolhouse." Silver said.
"How could you go on an excursion unescorted?!" Sebek exclaimed as he glared at the male before him. "This is your fault for taking your eyes off of him Silver!"
"He's not a baby. Personally, I think you're
worried to an inordinate degree." Silver said.
"It won't be so inordinate if something happens to him. You must never relax even for a second! Or do you not understand the gravity of your duty as a guardsman?! You're lucky that he and Lilia took you in and raised you despite your humanity. Don't you dare forget it!" Sebek exclaimed with slight annoyance laced in his tone.
"I think we're getting off track..." Silver said now letting out a small sigh before following after Sebek who ran off.
"Master...?" (Y/N) mumbled as she watched as the two figures slowly disappeared in the distance.
"They seem very protective but...even Kanzaburou doesn't act like this with me..."

Now inside the Ramshackle Dorm, the raven haired female was getting herself ready to go to bed after a long eventful day.
"Aaah...now that's a whopper of a fish, I...I can't eat all that..." Grim mumbles in his sleep.
"Heh..." (Y/N) smiled a bit at the scene before her. "What an exhausting day..." The female said to herself before noticing the mirror glowing. "Huh? Is this another dream?" She quietly said as she stared at the mirror slightly curious.

"Is...anybody there?" They said once again now knocking on the mirror, its silhouette clearly seen before the mirror stopped glowing.

It was now morning and (Y/N) was now eating breakfast with Kanzaburou and sadly not Grim until the three of them heard a loud banging outside the front door.
"I'll go see who it is." (Y/N) said as she went to open the front door only to be met face to face with a smiling Floyd.
"Morning, Little Angelfish, Baby Seal, Pelican! We're here to get you. It's time to go!" Floyd happily exclaimed.
"Good morning senpais.." (Y/N) said as she greeted the two males before her.
"My name is Kanzaburou dammit!" The raven haired male exclaimed, a hint of annoyance laced in his tone.
"Eerk! Whenever I see you two I'm always
worried you're scheming something. Makes my heart skip a beat." Grim said.
"Please, we would never dream of getting rough with those who aren't in breach of contract. The weather is quite clear today perfect for an outing." Jade said now giving them a close eyed smile. "On that note..."
"Off we go to the Atlantica Memorial Museum!" Floyd cheered.
"Azul has arranged it so that we'll have the whole museum booked for ourselves. He's already gone ahead and is waiting for us on site." Jade said.
"That picture had better go back where it belongs." (Y/N) said.
"You're taking this so seriously, Little Angelfish!" Floyd said as he slung his arm over the female's shoulder. "We get it, don't worry. Now, time's a wasting!"

Soon enough, after meeting up with Azul the group made their way to the Atlantica Memorial Museum.
"Dude! This is wild." Ace said as he looked around in amazement. "So this is what it's like inside."
"There's a statue of a legendary Sea King. Huh, I guess there are more famous figures around these parts than just the Sea Witch." Deuce said.
"Wow, that king's pretty ripped." Jack said as he stared at the statue in awe.
"Hm, not bad..." Kanzaburou hummed as he looked around at the museum.
"But how does paper and pictures not shrivel up and get ruined underwater?"
"Welcome everyone to the Atlantica Memorial Museum." Azul said as he gave them all a smile. "The Mostro Lounge will be holding a study tour today. Or at least that's the purpose of our visit on paper. Regardless, I bid you take your time and enjoy yourselves."
"There you are octo tentacle Azul! Only you're not. Are you just staying in human form?" Grim questioned as he looked over at the male.
"Yes." Azul said as he gave Grim a small nod. "Betentacled merman like myself aren't
common around these parts. I wouldn't want to draw any undue attention to myself when our job is to return a photo on the sly."
"I see no reason to be concerned. No one would see the cute chubby little merman in the picture and connect that it's you." Jade said.
"It wouldn't hurt you any to swim around in
your real form on a trip home! Why limit
yourself to two legs when you can have eight?" Floyd said.
"Hmph, just drop it, please." Azul said before looking back at the group, now smiling at them once again. "I'm going to slip the photo back in its spot. The rest of you, feel free to explore the museum."
"Hey, check it out. There's a display for the
mermaid princess's silver hair comb." Floyd said.
"I saw a picture of that in the pamphlet before. That's clearly a fork, not a comb right?" Ace said.
"Heheh..." Jade let out a chuckle before smiling at the group. "Maybe that's how it looks to you land dwellers." Jade said and soon enough everyone went their own separate ways to explore the museum.
"You're not joining them?" Azul said as he glanced at the raven haired female who simply decided to stay behind.
"No..." (Y/N) said as she looked back at the male. "I'm a little worried about you."
"You're so suspicious. I'll put it back right now." Azul said before he hesitantly placed the picture back in its original place. "I thought that if I could erase every photo of my past, I could erase my past itself. My youth was spent mocked as a slow dimwitted octo twerp. The Sea Witch never hid her past misdeeds. She worked to restore her reputation and earned the people's respect that way. I kept saying I wanted to be like her, but in the end I couldn't accept my own past. I kept rejecting it." The male said before letting out a small sigh.
"You know senpai..." The female started off before she glance back at the picture now placed back where it was. "I meant every word of what I said." (Y/N) said as she turned to give the grey haired male a close eyed smile.
"You are very smart, a great dorm leader, and an attractive guy." She said now making the male blush as he stared at her slightly taken aback by her same remark once again.
"Why does she have to sound so bold..."
"R...really?"
"Of course." (Y/N) said as she gave the grey haired male a small nod. "Your incredible diligence is so rare, it even left Crowley at a loss."
"You...you think?" Azul said as he gave the female a small smile. "Heh, you don't need to try so hard to butter me up. All I wanted to do was get back at the kids who made fun of me."
"You may think whatever you want senpai, though I'm anything but a liar. I meant every word of what I said." (Y/N) said as she smiled at him. Soon enough, their time alone was interrupted by Grim who excitedly swam over towards the female.
"That wasn't a dinosaur. It was a sea dragon, a type of undersea monster." Jade said. "The Sea Witch's cave entrance was built out of sea dragon bones or so the tales claim."
"Hm...so she had a taste for the morbid huh? Interesting." Kanzaburou said as he tapped his chin in slight amusement.
"Huh interesting? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Interest huh? Guess it his instincts liking this stuff...creepy..."
"They've got a replica of the Sea Witch's
cauldron too." Floyd said now earning Deuce's full attention.
"Really? They have cauldrons under the sea too?" Deuce said as he stared at the male in awe.
"How do you heat things up in the water anyway?" Ace questioned.
"Underwater logic." (Y/N) said as she gave herself a small nod.
"Uh...beats me." Floyd said as he gave a small shrug. "Azul, you tell them!"
"Very well. Fair warning though, I charge a
steep price for playing tour guide." Azul said as he gave the group a close eyed smile.

After a while of exploring the Atlantic Memorial Museum and receiving a tour provided by Azul, everyone was now finally back at school.
"Ahhh! Oxygen, how I've missed you!" Grim
said happily.
"Visiting the Atlantica Memorial Museum was pretty fun." Deuce said as (Y/N) nodded in agreement.
"I think I was bored to tears last time I went,
but I had a good time visiting it again after all these years." Floyd said.
"Once you get a feel for the world up here it's funny to see how much of it merfolk
misinterpreted in the old days." Jade said.
"That fork...er, I mean the silver hair comb was hilarious." Ace said.
"Personally I found the bones interesting..."
"I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. I'm sure you
must be tired after spending so long in a strange environment. It's just about opening time for the Mostro Lounge. Would you care to drop by for some tea?" Azul said.

Eventually, the group made their way to Ovtavinelle, with Azul along with Jade and Floyd leading the way. Upon arriving, they all took notice of many students were inside the Monstro Lounge and how busy it seemed to be.

"I'll have the drink set with the limited snack!" A purpled haired Pomefiore student said.
"Coming right up!" The Octavinelle student said as he smiled at them.
"Whoa! Why's it so crowded in here?" Ace said with a look of shock evident on his face.
"Ah, I see the promotion is paying off already. Jade said.
"What promotion?" Jack asked.
"After everything that went down, the
Headmage chewed us out and said not to take anybody's powers again, even under contract." Floyd said.
"Yea, Crowley also mentioned he'd deal with us later along with the rest of the staff..."
Floyd then grinned before resting his arm on the grey haired male's shoulder. "So Azul devised a point card system!"
"Yeah? How's it work?" Ace questioned.
"Your get one point for ordering a 6 thaumark drink special. And you get three points for ordering something off the 15 thaumark limited menu. When you build up to fifty points, you can earn the privilege of one free consultation with the manager. Namely myself." Azul said as he smiled at them.
"It's a smart move and you're making your moneys worth. Not bad." Kanzaburou said as he gave a small nod in approval.

"When you say consultation, do you mean, like for anything?" Grim said now making the raven haired female stare at him with narrowed eyes.

"Present sir." Jamil said before soon walking over toward the white haired male.
"Gather all of Scarabia's students on the double. If those layouts think they're in for a relaxing holiday they are sorely mistaken." Kalim said as he now frowned at the male before him.
"Understood, sir. All will be as my dorm leader wishes." Jamil said as he gave the male a small nod before walking off.
