Wyatt and Eliza shared the same history class.So, they usually walk to lunch together.As the bell rung, Eliza grabbed her bag and started to walk out the door.
Suddenly, a crumbled up paper falls out and Wyatt picks it up.His face hardens when he reads it:
FREAK!
Wyatt crumbles the paper back up and runs outside the classroom to find Eliza.
But they already did.
Eliza was on the ground, books from her backpack spilled everywhere.2 guys from their class was in front of her, laughing and pointing.He noticed her face.
She was crying.
Wyatt then runs up to them, his eyes glowing yellow and growling.He then hisses at the 2 boys and they run away, scared.
He kneels on the floor to Eliza and puts a arm on her shoulder.
"Are you okay?"He asks.She nods and he helps her up.
"Eliza, why didn't you tell me you were getting bullied?"
Eliza shrugged as she picked up her books.
"I just...didn't want you to keep worrying about me."She finally said.
Wyatt cups her face in his hands.
"Eliza, I will always be here to protect you.Okay?I will never be tired of you or you're company."
Eliza nods and smiles.
That cute smile that Wyatt can't get enough of.The way her eyes scrunch up.The way-
"Wyatt?"
Wyatt snaps out of his thoughts to a now confused Eliza.He shakes his head as he looks back at her.
"Sorry...let's get to lunch."
