Saturday came around faster than I thought, I had informed my mom and Yaya about the date in which they straight up had a girl panic and made me go out shopping with them for nice clothes to wear even though I just decided on some nice jeans and a comfortable top. Mom spent twenty minutes doing my hair while Yaya made me apply some mascara saying 'my eyelashes were plain and not attractive to the eye' love her for that. I slipped on my sneakers when Robby texted me to come pick him up, so I said goodbye to my family who were yelling things to me as I got out the door before jogging to my car in which I got in and drove to get Robby. Once I got to his house, he was already outside waiting for me. he ran over and got inside before kissing me on the cheek making me chuckle.
Julia- alright, where am I driving to?
Robby- we are heading to the mall and before you assume no, we aren't shopping, I have something else planned.
Julia- alright, whatever you say
I pulled out of the parking space and started to drive to the mall. he had hooked his aux to his phone, so he had music blasting in the car as he sang along horribly making me laugh but eventually joined in. Once we got to the mall, we both got out before he took my hand and interlocked our fingers. he walked us inside the mall and told me to close my eyes, I allowed him to lead us someplace where I could alot of noises and people shouting.
Robby- alright open your eyes
I opened my eyes and looked around realizing we were at a laser tag place; I laughed as I shook my head while he smiled.
Julia- how did you even get the money for this?
Robby- uh that's for me to know and you to never find out
As we were about to go fully inside this older gentleman came over and stood in front of us, Robby looked a little nervous as the man gave him a harsh glare.
Older man- you aren't allowed here, Keene. I told you and your goons already you were banned.
Robby- look I don't want any trouble alright?
Older man- than leave.
the man looked at me before shaking his head and walking back inside, Robby let out a sigh before he started walking which dragged me along since he had ahold of my hand still. we made it back to my car and both got inside again, I buckled myself in as I looked at him.
Julia- uh can I ask why you got banned?
Robby- past issues. I'm not like that anymore, I stopped being that person or at least I'm trying to
Julia- hm well that's good. I'm taking you don't have a backup plan?
Robby- well it's not a backup plan, it was actually the next part of our date, but we can just go there
he told me to drive to the strip mall first so that's what I did, he ran inside the store and came out with what looked to be some snacks and drinks before getting back into the car. than he told me to drive again so I listened and the place he led us to just so happened to be a basketball court making me look at him confused only to see him holding a basketball with a shit eating grin.
Robby- what do you say? one or one?
Julia- I haven't played in a while, I'm rusty!
Robby- or are you just scared?
Julia- scared? that's the last thing I would be, but your on!
he laughed as I took the ball from his hands and got out of the car, I ran over to his side and let him out before I ran to the court. I put my phone and keys in my pocket before I started drippling the ball and shooting it into the basket. Robby ran over and took the ball before we started a one-on-one match, well you couldn't even call it that because we kept pushing and doing very illegal moves just to prevent the other from shooting. Like now, I was about to make my shot when Robby came behind me and picked me up by my waist making me shriek and laugh as he let out a chuckle.
Julia- put me down, Robby! this is cheating!
Robby- it's only cheating if someone saw this!
I laughed more as he started tickling my sides making me squirm and drop the ball, in which he put my down just so he could grab it and make the basket as I groaned while he cheered.
Robby- I win! now the winner gets the award!
Julia- what award? we never decided on that, mr!
Robby- *chuckles* winner gets a kiss
he walked over to me as I looked at him with a smile, I shook my head while he put both his hands on the side of my neck before leaning in. I had to get a little on my tippy toes to meet his kiss, but it was of course worth it. he turned his head to the left making mine go right as the kiss increased. I put my hands on his shirt to tug him closer as I was slowly losing breath, I'm guessing he was too as he slowly pulled back. we both looked at one another while I went flat footed and let go of his shirt only making him chuckle.
Robby- thank you for uh agreeing to come with me
Julia- you were the one to ask me out, Robby.
Robby- to prove something to you
Julia- prove something?
Robby- that I want something more than just friends with you, Jules. I want to be with you, if you let me
Julia- *smiles* of course, I will let you. I would be crazy not to
we both let out chuckles before we kissed again, it started to get dark so we both decided to leave and just eat along the way. we laughed and talked about stupid things that came to mind, before I dropped him off. he kissed me again before I got back in my car making me have an internal panic as I got back inside. I drove back home and told my Yaya an Mami everything who hugged me and cheered, mom even said she wanted to meet Robby, which was scary, but I told her I'll talk to him about it. I ran to my room and laid on my bed before calling Sam who answered almost immediately
Sam- tell me everything right now! I need to know everything detail!
Julia- okay okay! well we were going to go to laser tag, but he was banned for some reason that I didn't get into so than we went to the basketball court and played around for a few hours. he even kissed me twice! not to mention we made it official!
Sam- I'm so happy for you, Jul!!!! that's so great! you got a bad boy who has a soft side!! man that's a girl's dream!
I laughed at what she had said as I started looking for some pj's to wear so that I wasn't in jeans anymore
Julia- tell me about your date! don't think I forgot!
Sam- well we went to the arcade, and he got me this octopus which is really adorable! than we played some golf! he ended up showing me a karate move so I showed him mine and I ended up kissing him!
Julia- oh my gosh!! that's really freaking cute, Sam! what's he like?? his name? I need to know!
Sam- well uh about that, so i don't know how you will react to this but uh it's your brother who i went out with
what- I stayed silent for a few minutes before I started laughing
Sam- what? what's funny?!
Julia- sorry! I just couldn't help it! I hope you know I'm not mad, I'm happy for you both actually! just don't hurt each other is all I'm going to ask!
Sam- we won't, but I have a project to finish so I'll see you tomorrow
we said our goodbyes before I hung up and plugged my phone in. I changed into my pj's before I ran to Miguel's room who was sitting on his bed laughing at his phone, he looked up at me with a confused look as I was wiggling my eyebrows
Julia- so when were you going to tell me about your date with Sam?
Miguel- when were you going to tell me about your date with what's his face?
we both chuckled as I walked in and sat next to him, he put his phone on his nightstand before looking at me.
Julia- you weren't here when I informed Mami and Yaya, but my date went amazing.
Miguel- and you weren't here when I told them I was going on mine, mine also was amazing
Julia- glad to here that. are you happy?
Miguel- yeah, I am. are you?
Julia- I am
he nodded before he put his head on my shoulder in which I rested mine on his head.
Miguel- Te amo, hermana. simplemente no dejes que te lastime, por favor (I love you, sister. just don't let him hurt you, please)
Julia- no hay necesidad de preocuparse. Puedo manejar el mío propio. Yo también te amo, hermano (no need to worry. I can handle my own. I love you too, brother)
