It was currently lunch time and kiana was at her locker grabbing her things. She didn't need anything but her planner , her notebook, and her led pencils.

She smiled to herself before walking into the cafeteria. She spotted her friends Amiyah , Nakaylah, jakobi, and Jackson.
"Heyy y'all" she walked up to the table they were sitting at
"Wussam"the boys said as she gave them all side hugs.
"Where you going ms.goodie 2 shoes"Amiyah asked
"To go finish some work"she shrugged looking around for mr.brown
She finally spotted him by the doors of the cafeteria, she begin walking over to her making sure not to trip over her feet.
She finally got to him
"Hello"she waved making him smile a little and wave back
"I'm waiting for my brothers friend to bring my food"she told him making her nod
He looked away so she finally actually took his looks in.
He was a nice dark skinned with one brown and one blue eye. He had pop smoke braids and kinda long hair. He was tall , stood about 6'5 definitely way taller then her. He had on a black Nike tech with some panda dunks. He had on a couple chains, and a Rolex on his wrist. All in all he was cute.
"Here ugly"jaylin said handing her , the food before walking over to his girlfriend
"Okay we good to go?" He asked making her nod reaching her hand in to get a fry
Plopping it into her mouth on her way to the classroom
They walked in the classroom and he set all his things down and she did the same.
"Can I ask you a question" she said making him nod as he started pulling out things
"Why did you wanna be a teachers assistant?"
"I didn't. I lowkey ain't wanna do none of this , but I wanted to get money and I wasn't gonna start drug dealing because of it"
"That makes sense. I know a lot of people that drug deal because they struggling and shi- stuff but I just feel like if you struggling that much just get a job"she shrugged.
She reached in her bag and pulled out her food.

"Well I think you are , hm you want some"she offered making him shake his head but she grabbed a napkin anyways
She gave him 5 nuggets and some fries. Along with some honey mustard
"Thank you" he laughed
"I'll bring you some food tmr Sense you gave me some of yours" he said making her smile
"Ouu then I want breakfast." She said cause she normally doesn't eat breakfast
"Bett" he said as she took out her planner and begin writing down more notes for the essay
"Alright so replace "I'm forever gonna be" with "temporarily I'm" because your not always gonna be broken" he told her.

He stared into her eyes for a lil before replying "because deep down , you wanna be happy but are afraid" he said plopping 3 fries in his mouth
She didn't think she was "afraid" to be happy. She just don't wanna let new people in cause everybody always gets taken from her

"Nope. I was smart so I graduated early. Then they had this education program that I went to they had all different jobs you can learn from. But teaching was the easiest" he shrugged making me laugh

"Yeah , I was gonna suggest you and 2 others for that and for honers classes"
"Thank your mr.brown" she said as she looked at her phone seeing Keon FaceTiming her
"Heyy"she smiled putting her face in the camera
"Aye pook , I ain't gon be able to get you today. And yo daddy want you to come see him"

"Idk then kiana"he said before hanging up making her sigh
"I'll take you home" Deontae offered making her thank him

"Here's your food"The girl came out and set their food down along with their gloves and bib

After finally getting them in she opened the bag
"Eww you eat crawfish"she mugged his bag making him laugh loud asl
"Lil girl , it's good. Hm try it" he held the meat up to her mouth.
She looked at it and hesitated before finally taking it into her mouth. She chewed For a couple seconds before swallowing it
She ain't gonna lie. She never tasted crawfish she just didn't like how it looked
She looked into his eyes
"Can I have some more?"
"Unt un you said - pleaseeeee mr- call me Deontae outside of school"he cut her off
"Please Deontae" she poked her bottom lip out
"Here" he says hanging her two whole crawfish making her jump back

"Here" he said once he finished pealing the two. He watched as she dipped it in the hot butter sauce she ordered
Once they were finished he payed and helped her untie the bib. And helped her take off her gloves.
"Okay put yo address in" he said once they got situated in the car. He put his seatbelt on and she did the same
After putting the address in the rode to her house in comfortable silence because his phone broke it
"Incoming FaceTime from "Darcie pink heart emoji" Siri announced
He let the phone ring a little before picking it up
"What you want Darcie?"
"Bro mommy doing to fucking much can I please stay at your house"
"Stop talking bout my momma foo" he chuckled
"And yeah lemme just drop my g-friend off"
"Okayyyyy imma get ready right now"she replied before he hung up

"Nah you my student lil one" he said making her chuckle and shrug
"Not for long"she mumbled but he heard her. He didn't know wether she meant because she was gonna be in an honers class soon or if it was due to her "broken" stage as she referred to in her essay. He shrugged it off and chose not to reply
They finally pulled up to her house
"Alright I'll see you tmr lil one. Give me your number so I can text you inna morning" he said so he would know what to get her for breakfast
She grabbed his phone and put her number in as "favorite student💞." And made her last name "kiana" just in case he gets another favorite student.
"Alright , bye kiana".
She loved the way her name sounded coming out his mouth
"Bye Deontae , have a goodnight" she replied before grabbing her bookbag , getting out his car.

I made sure she got in the house safe before pulling off and headed to my mommas house.
I couldn't help but still think about her. She was different. She wasn't like all the other girl students that threw themselves at me.
