I wake up to feel a warmth next to me which is very comforting for some reason.
I flip over to see it's about 5:30 AM and my alarm is set for 6:30 AM so I just turn it off and flip back over to see Bradley sleeping in my bed.
I close my eyes before opening them in shock. BRADLEY FUCKING BRADSHAW IS SLEEPING IN MY FUCKING BED, DID WE DO-
We couldn't have, I'm still in my clothes from yesterday which absolutely stink of alcohol.
It's a bit of a shock to wake up to see your crush sleeping in your bed but who am I to judge.
Instead I just hug the side of Bradley's bare chest and listen to his steady heartbeat wishing this would last forever.
I dift into my own reality where me and Bradley have our own life, with 2 twin boys called Harry and Tom.
Movement from underneath me shifts me out of my dream.
A little sad it wasn't true but I could never have a family with Bradley, we have work and a service to our country.
'Hey Brads'
He groans from underneath me.
'Hey Ams, what did I miss?'
'Not much but one thing's to say, drunk Bradley is hilarious but tiring at the same time'
'Hmm can you tell me about it?'
'That's for another time'
'Fine, wait. Why am I half-naked in your bed'
'I don't know, I told drunk Bradley to sleep downstairs and before you start we didn't do you know'
'Oh ok, I guess drunk Bradley was really drunk, hmm?'
'He was indeed, he was dancing and-'
'OK OK OK OK OK, I get it, he was very drunk'
We laugh at our conversation and I tell him just a little about drunk Bradley but I don't tell him too much.
Sober Bradley currently has a massive hangover so I go downstairs and look for some painkillers.
I find the last 2, we really need to get some more.
'Here you go' I place a glass of water and the painkillers on my bedside table for Bradley.
He takes them as if his life depends on it.
'Hey Brads'
'Yea, Ams'
'Do hate me for what my father did?' I know it's a touchy subject but I have to know. My dad pulled his papers settong Bradley back 4 years. It hurt him alot and kind of took it our on me but not as much as he did in our last mission together which was about 2 or 3 years ago.
'No, it wasn't your fault'
'Ok, I just wanted to know'
'You alright Brads?'
'Yeah, pain is easing off a bit'
'That's good'
'Well we better get changed, your shirt is on the chair by the way'
'Thanks Ams'
'No problem'
I get up and get a quick shower before Bradley who gets in after.
When Bradley is in the shower I make some pancakes with honey for breakfast as I think that is still Bradley's favourite.
Speaking of the man himself, he walks down with damp hair and my stomach twists in knots.
Damn, who knew he could get even hotter.
'I made pancakes, hope you still like them'
'Ams, I absolutely love pancakes for breakfast, thank you so much'
He takes his plate and sits opposite me as we eat our pancakes.
Looking at rhe time we onky have about 30 minutes before we are required to be at Top Gun.
We finish and I ask Bradley if he wants to ride on my bike with me to Top Gun.
'Sure but as long as you don't go too fast, ok?'
I laugh at him 'Sure thing Brads' I say between laughs.
I pass him a helmet and get on waiting for him to hop on.
I start the engine and Bradley clings to my waist.
Butterflies make their way into my stomach.
'Bradley it's not going to kill you'
'Sure it's not'
'Wuss'
'Hey, I am not a wuss'
'Then don't act like one'
I set off and Bradley clings harder.
After a ten minute ride which I may have taken the longer way because I like Bradley being a wuss, we make our way to our lockers then to the hangar and sit down.
This is going to be a long day.
