Jin was cleaning the cafe before closing it, that night it was only him and his coworker Yoongi there.
"Jin, you can go home first, you said you have to go to the supermarket for shopping right?"
"Yes, Tae's milk runs out and he can't sleep if he doesn't drink the milk"
"What milk?"
"Banana milk"
"Cute, then go, let me clean the cafe and close it"
"Are you okay doing it yourself?"
"Yeah sure, just go, convey my regards to your baby bear"
"Of course, thank you Yoongi"
Jin took his coat and exited the cafe, entering December where the winter was starting to feel very bone-chilling. He was waiting at the bus stop, he looked at the watch and it still showed 9 pm he still had time to buy Tae's favorite banana milk, the milk with the brand that Tae likes is only available in the supermarket, that's why he has no other choice but to go there.
The bus came and Jin got on, tapped the card and sat by the window, he took his wallet out of his pocket and only 50 dollars was left there, he had to stick with it for the next week.
He put back his wallet and leaned his head against the window. It wasn't long before he arrived. He got off the bus and ran towards the supermarket, the supermarket closes at 10 pm and he doesn't have much time.
When he entered the supermarket he immediately rushed to the milk section and saw that Tae's favorite banana milk was only one left, when he was about to take it, someone took it first and he stopped his steps with a sigh.
"Jin?" He looked at the person, the one who took Tae's banana milk. Jin was confused how he knew his name, the person approached Jin with a smile.
"You must have forgotten who I am, right? I'm Jungkook, we met at the festival a week ago, I helped your son... hmm Tae?"
"Ahhh yeah, I'm sorry, I don't remember your name"
"It's okay, it's a coincidence that we meet here, what do you want to buy?"
"That, but I'm late, you took it first, so I had to take another brand" Jin pointed to the milk bottle Jungkook was holding.
"This? Oh you can take it Jin, this"
"Oh no, it's okay, I'll tell Tae that his favorite banana milk runs out and he can drink another banana milk"
"This is for Tae? He likes this banana milk?"
"Yeah, he can't sleep without drinking this banana milk, that's weird but—"
"No, it's not weird, it's the same thing I've been doing all this time"

"But milk isn't just for child is it?"

"No Jin, this is for Tae, take it." As Jin took the milk bottle from Jungkook, the phone rang and Jungkook picked it up.
"Hello babe?"
"Yes.. yes I'm coming"
"Okay bye, I love you" Jin just smiled hearing every word Jungkook said, it felt very sincere and warm, he had never felt that before, he never had a boyfriend before but he had to lose his virginity with the person he currently hates, but he has no regrets, because he has Tae now.
"Jin, looks like I have to go home, my husband needs me at home"
"Ahh yes, and thank you for the milk"
"Sure, bye Jin"
"Bye, be careful" Jungkook smiled and left Jin, the smile was very warm, Jin looked at the milk bottle in his hand and smiled again.
Jin arrived home at 10.15 pm, he was late for the bus stop and had to wait for the last bus to arrive. He saw Tae still playing in his room, yes their room, his neighbor, Mina came to take Tae to school and pick him up, then looked after Tae while Jin worked and came home at 8 pm after cleaning Tae and giving him dinner.
"Hello my baby bear.." Jin walked up to Tae and saw him smiling when he saw what Jin was carrying in his hands.
"Yeayyy.. banana milk, thank you papa, aunty mina said the banana milk ran out, so I was waiting for you"
"I'm sorry Tae, papa came home too late, you should be sleeping now, tomorrow you have to go to school"
"Papa.."
"Hmm"
"At school, Irene's teacher asked me and the others to bring a family photo next week, do I have a photo with papa and daddy?" Jin's eyes immediately trembled as soon as Tae said that, his heart felt heavy, he didn't want to remember that man, the man who had ruined Jin's future.
"Papa, why are you crying? Don't I have a photo with you and daddy? It's okay papa, don't cry, I don't want you to cry, I'm sorry" Tae's tiny hand wiped the tears on Jin's cheeks.
"Tae.. I'm sorry, papa sorry, your daddy is in heaven now, we didn't have time to take a picture together at that time, he left while you were still in papa's tummy, I'm sorry, but you can bring a photo of the two of us next week , is that okay?"
"Yes papa, I will bring a photo of the two of us, now stop crying"
"Okay sweetboy" Jin kissed his son's forehead and laid him on the bed, it was a single bed that felt cramped when the two of them slept together. So Jin chose to sleep on the sofa when he had put Tae on the bed. Of course after he finished a full glass of banana milk.
The bright morning has come, marked by the sound of birds singing and sunlight hitting the windows. Jin wakes up to do his usual activities, he has to get Tae ready before Mina comes to take him to school and Jin goes to the café for work.
When he arrived at the cafe he saw Yoongi was already there and greeted him with a smile.
"Morning Yoongi.."
"Morning Jin, how is Tae?"
"Amazing as usual"
"Good"
Jin took the apron and put it on then started serving some of the customers who came. The cafe where he works is indeed very crowded with customers, in the morning, afternoon and even at night, even Jin once missed his lunch because he was too busy serving customers and almost made him faint from exhaustion.
It was busy but unlike any other day, he could still relax a bit and when the doorbell rang signaling a new customer had coming, Jin turned towards the door, ready to be warmly welcomed. His eyes widened when he saw who it was.
"Jungkook?"
"Hey Jin, what a coincidence we met here"
"Yes"
"You work here?"
"Yes as you can see"
"I should have been here a long time ago"
"Why?"
"I don't know I just wanted to say it" Jungkook looked awkward after saying that to Jin.
"So, what would you like to order?"
"one ice americano please"
"Okay, 5 dollars"

"Okay, please sit down, I'll bring it to you"
"Thank you Jin"
While Jin was making orders for Jungkook, Yoongi came and nudged Jin's arm.
"Yoongi, what are you doing?"
"You guys look close, is he your friend or—"
"Just friend, we met at the festival, he helped Tae when he fell"
"Wow, is that a coincidence or a fate?"
"What do you mean? He's married Yoongi, don't think it's weird"
"Ohh too bad, you two look good together, I can imagine Tae calling him daddy, or you're going to call him daddy?" Jin nudged Yoongi's body with a smile.
"Yoongi, stop it!! I have to give this order to him."
"Accompany him, let me serve the other customers" Jin just shook his head and went to Jungkook with an iced americano in his hand.
"Here's your order, one iced americano"
"Thank you Jin, are you busy?" Jin turned to the cashier and he didn't see any customers there.
"No, what's wrong?"
"Will you accompany me here? I feel weird when I'm alone." Jin sat in front of Jungkook.
"Then why did you come alone?"
"I was supposed to meet my friend at the restaurant across the street, but he canceled it, I don't really like crowded places and it was very crowded so I came here"
"This place will get busy soon at lunch"
"Yeah, but it's still 10 am, that means I'm safe here, what about Taehyung?" Jin raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"Is he waiting for you to come home for his banana milk?"
"Ohh yeah, he's waiting for me to come home, he looks sleepy while waiting for me but he's happy because I came home with his favorite milk"

"He must have slept well with that milk, I couldn't sleep last night"

"Don't you and your husband ever do anything before going to bed?" Jin just stayed silent with his eyes filled with tears, it's a sensitive thing that makes Jin feel very hurt every time he hears it.

Jin came back and saw Yoongi smiling at him.
