Finney's POV:
When the bell rang, signaling it was time for lunch I couldn't have been happier. PE is literally the worst class ever.
I picked up my bag and walked as fast as possible through the hallway and all the way to the exit.
Lunch is always my favorite part of my day because I get an hour away from classes to just sit and talk to my friends. We sit on one of those bench table things outside every day and I'm normally the last one there so it wasn't a surprise to see everyone else already sitting down.
As I reached the table I could hear Billy and Robin bickering over something, like they always are. "Hey Finney what's up?" Bruce said not taking his eyes off Robin and Billy's bickering.
I was about to respond to Bruce when all of a sudden Robin screamed "BILLY GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE!"
Billy was running away from Robin and trying to read something on Robin's phone at the same time.
I turned my head from looking at them to see Griffin already staring at me.
"Do you guys know what Robin and Billy are arguing over now?" I asked while getting my lunch box out of my bag.
"You didn't hear?" Vance asked while trying not to laugh.
"No, what happened?" I asked while glancing back at Robin still chasing Billy.
"Vance! Don't tell him until Robin is ready!" Bruce whispershouted to Vance while slapping the back of his head.
"Don't tell me what?" I asked.
"Nothing Finney, really it's nothing!" Griffin said before taking a bite of his salad.
Robin and Billy finally got back to the table, panting from all the running and Billy now had a busted lip.
"So worth the pain!" Billy exclaimed while Griffin grabbed his face trying to stop the bleeding.
"Hey Finn, what's happening?" Robin asked while slipping his phone into his back pocket.
"Not much, what was that about?" I asked while nodding my head towards Billy.
"Nothing, just Billy being annoying," Robin said while chucking an ice pack at Billy. "For your face."
"Thanks, Robin," Billy said with a smirk.
"Hey guys!" Gwen yelled while she skipped over to the table with Donna.
"Hey Gwenny," I replied.
"Donna and I are going to Amy's today so can you watch Dad?" Gwen asked me.
"I am going over to Robins after school but I can be back before he's home," I responded.
"Okay thanks, Finney!" Gwen said while she and Donna ran over to Amy's table.
When I turned back around I saw everyone besides Robin staring at me.
"What?" I asked while taking a bite of my sandwich
"Going to Robin's huh?" Billy said while smirking at Robin.
"Yeah so?" I asked Billy.
"Anywayyyys if you have to watch your dad tonight, does that mean you can't come to the party tonight Finney?" Bruce asked me.
"What party?" I asked confused.
"The one I'm throwing, tonight," Bruce said to everyone.
"No I'll be there, just have to leave after my dad's gone to bed," I told Bruce.
Robin's POV:
"That doesn't make any sense!" I exclaimed while slamming the textbook shut.
"Yes, it does! You just have to find the pair to find the value of x." Finn said while reopening the textbook.
"I'm done with this crap today, let's do something fun! Want to watch a movie?" I asked while putting my textbook away.
"If I want to be able to go to the party I better head home now. Oh by the way can I sleep here after the party tonight? My dad is normally up super late so he'll hear me sneak back in." Finn asked me.
"Of course! Maybe when you're done getting ready you could come back here and we can walk together too?" I asked him.
"Yeah!" Finn said while smiling. "See you in a bit!" Finney exclaimed while running out of my room.
For a minute I just sat on my bed smiling at where Finney was sitting a moment ago, before realizing what I was doing and plugging my headphones in.
