Eddie's pov
I searched through my piles of messy clothes on my bedroom floor for my sandals. There was a knock at my open door and I looked over to see Dustin holding them up.
"Are you ready now? It's been an hour." He complained tossing them to me. I caught them and placed them on the floor before slipping them on. He then looked down at my legs. "I don't ever think I've seen your bare legs before." He looked back up at me.
"Shut up," I pushed past him. "And it wasn't an hour." I looked over at the clock. "It was 30 minutes." I told him as I grabbed my keys.
"Whatever, you were taking too long." He walked outside with me. We rushed to get on the road since Steve lived a little ways away from me. "So, I have to tell you something." Dustin started. I could see he was a little nervous about something so it started to worry me.
"And that is?" I questioned turning down the music.
"Um, so you know that girl that works at family video who you think is cute? (Y/n)?" He looked at me. I peeked over at him.
"Yeah?" I looked back at the road.
"Well I invited her." He told me. My eyes widened and i quickly pulled over to the side of the road.
"You..you did what?" I put the van in park and i quickly turned to him.
"It was Steve and Max's idea," he told me.
"How do they even know how I feel about her?!" I panicked.
"Because I told them, they weren't going to tell anyone, Steve can't talk to girls and Max hates everyone." He replied.
"True," I sighed. "But wait you invited her?" He nodded.
"Yeah, I told Steve and Max and then Max was like why doesn't he make a move? And Steve was like he's probably nervous. So then I was like no she's just different then him so he thinks he doesn't have a shot." He explained.
"And then Steve was like well why don't we invite her? And Max was like yes that's perfect! And I was like no he's gonna kill me. Then Robin barged in and was like how can he kill you if he's too busy making out with the hot girl." He continued.
"And then! I had Steve talk to her at work yesterday and he told her to come and she said sure." He finished.
"I don't know if I should hug you or hit you." I sighed, putting the van back in drive and starting down the road again.
"Decide that later." He turned up to music as we drove.
When I pulled up to Steve's place there sat the familiar black mustang with the white racing stripes. "Shit she's here." I looked in my mirror as I fixed up my hair.
"Just relax man, just be yourself." He smiled. I looked over at him, my eyes saying 'are you serious?' "Don't look at me like that. It's not worth it if she doesn't like you for you." He told me.
"God you sound like a fortune cookie." I sighed as I got out of the van.
"It's true though!" He followed closely.
"Mhm, keep telling yourself that Henderson." I knocked the door. The door suddenly opened and I jumped as she stood there. I looked her over, she was in a pair of jean shorts and a white tank top tucked into it.
"Hi," she smiled. I looked at Dustin and he raised his eyebrows at me.
"Hey," I looked behind her to see Steve. He smiled and pointed at her.
"Look it's the girl you like!" He mouthed to me. I glared at him, making (Y/n) turn. Steve waved and rushed into the other room.
"Uh, okay then." She stepped aside letting us in.
"Hi, I'm Dustin." He shook her hand.
"I know you dork," she giggled. I looked at dustin, making him look at me.
"That's Eddie," he pointed to me, making me glare at him. She turned and my glare quickly turned into a nervous smile.
"Hi," I waved awkwardly.
"Hey," she smiled. "I've heard about you." She told me.
"All good things I hope," I joked.
"Very," she smiled before walking to another room, my eyes trailing her legs and ass as she left.
"She's flirting," Dustin smiled.
"No way," I shook my head. "She's just being nice."
"Be flirty," he told me. "You do it with the cheerleaders all the time."
"Right but this one's different I actually like her." I told him.
"That's why should flirt, how are you gonna get her if you can't make her realize she likes you." He sighed.
"Fine, I'll try." I sighed. We both walked outside where everyone but (Y/n) was. Nancy and Robin were on the lawn chairs guarding everyone's dry clothes while Steve was with the rest of the kids.
I kicked off my sandals and pulled off my shirt. I looked over to see Dustin starting. My eyes looked down at the scars and I sighed. His eyes snapped back up to mine. "Sorry," he pulled off his shirt and I shook my head.
"It's fine man," an idea popped into my head however. "But," I quickly pushed him into the water, earning a scream from him. I burst into laughter but it quickly ended when I was shoved into the cold water. I stood up and turned to see Robin standing where I once was and Nancy laughing. I flipped them off just as I was splashed.
I turned and Mike stood there pointing at Dustin while Dustin pointed to Steve. "Oh yeah?!" I splashed all of them as we laughed. The pool that was once calm was now a battleground.
"Eddie," Steve grabbed my shoulder as he started in awe.
"What?" I turned to see the back door opening to reveal (Y/n) in a black bikini. My jaw dropped and I froze as I watched her suck on a lollipop. Her eyes landed on mine and she smirked lightly as she walked confidently over to Nancy and Robin. It was then I noticed she had hidden a few small tattoos on her waist, stomach and one of her breasts.
I could feel my heart beating rapidly and I grabbed onto Steve for support. "I think I'm gonna die, or pass out...or both." I panted.
"I think she broke him," Lucas looked at Max.
"You guys are so dramatic," Max hopped out of the pool to join the other girls.
"I think you have to just do something man," Mike told me.
"Like?" I looked at the group.
"Flirt, how many times do I have to tell you?!" Dustin turned me and pushed me to the pool wall closest to the four girls. They all looked at me and (Y/n) smiled, walking over. She sat on the edge of the pool, her legs swaying in the water.
"Hey Munson," she smiled, pulling the lollipop from her mouth.
"Hi," I smiled back. I watched as her eyes traveled around my body then back up to my eyes.
"I like your tattoos," she told me.
"Mine?" I snickered in disbelief. She nodded. "I like yours, I didn't know you had any." I told her.
"Yeah, don't tell my parents, they'll kill me." She placed her lollipop back in her mouth.
"Well you should be able to make your own decisions," I pulled the candy from her mouth and tossed it in my own.
"I think so too," she smirked. My breath hitched as she ran her foot along my inner thigh.
"(Y/n) wanna come with me to get the snacks from inside?" Nancy asked.
"Sure," she then took the lollipop from my mouth and she placed it back in her mouth after giving the candy a slow lick. My mind couldn't help but go to amazingly horrible places as I watched her stand and walk away. I swam over to Steve and pulled him aside.
"Is there any rooms that have locks in this house?" I questioned.
"Yeah, the bath..no, you're not gonna screw her in my house." He told me.
"Why not," I whined.
"Because it's my house," he told me.
"Just for that I'm gonna fuck her in your bed." I hopped out of the pool and rushed for the door.
"You're disgusting!" Steve called out as he chased me down.
