The faraway notes of nearness
amid the chaos around
come closer to the shore
where waves crash into tender cries of desire.
The distress fades into the rising flames of red against the sky;
The autumn breeze brushes her dusky cheeks
as the spurious glamour burns into ashes.
The green trees wake up,
Awakening the gloriole of solitariness—
The stormy hearts beat quietly
with the ringing of dawn-break songs.
