"Woh bacha tere academy me ghusa kaise?"
"Mujhe nahi pata yaar. Main toh usse pehli baar kal mila tha."
"Aur tu use apne ghar le aaya? " Sourav asked incredulously. He seriously didn't understand his friend at times.
"Haan" Sachin said nonchalantly as if it was an incident that occurred normally on a daily basis.
"Ow! Maar kyu raha h? " he yelled as his bestie hit him on the head with a spatula.
"Taki tera dimag finally kaam karna shuru kare. Seriously Sach! You don't know the first thing about him! Kaha se aaya h, kaise aaya h, kon h."
"Haan toh abh itna time h. Puchke jaan lenge."
"Kya matlab itna time h. Usse jaldi uske ghar pahunchana h. His parent's must be so worried."
"Bhai you didn't see him play yesterday. Humko uske parents se baat karni chahiye to enroll him in a coaching academy."
"Ha, woh sab toh theek h lekin pehle us bache se toh baat karle. Woh toh kal tujhe dekhke behosh hogaya tha."
"Woh mujhe dekhke behosh nahi hua tha. He was already weak. Idiot."
"I'm not an idiot."
"Yes you are."
"No I am not."

"Yes you are. You being in denial is not gonna change it. "

They were cut off from their very heated argument when they heard a soft giggle from outside the kitchen. They looked to the side only to see the mysterious kid trying very hard to stifle his laugh albeit unsuccessfully and their sane bestie looking at them with an exasperated expression.
"Yaar Jammy couldn't you tell us ki you were here? Hamne apne izzat ka kabada karliya na bache ke samne."
"Mein bacha nahi hu" Virat uttered cutely while puffing out his cheeks subconsciously. All the three seniors wanted nothing but to pull those cheeks and call him a cutie but they didn't want to irritate him or tease him too much.
"Of course you're not kiddo." Jammy Bhaiyya said smiling when Virat smiled not catching up to the fact that he had called him 'bacha' in another language and ruffled his hair. He turned to his two besties - "tum dono ki izzat h?" he asked with a shocked face.
"Haww Jammy! Dushman na kare dost ne kiya."
"Tum dono apna over acting band karo and help us with breakfast."
"Jaisa aap chahe sir ji!" Sach pa and dada said with a mock bow. They quickly made it to the kitchen aisle when they saw Jammy glaring at them.
"Virat aur maine coffee banaya h. Chalo saath me pithe h."
"Ha chal!"
The group of four settled themselves in the dining room.
"Yaar Virat, tune itna achcha coffee banaya h. Main toh abhi se hi tujhe mere saath sare trips me pack karke lejane ka plan kar raha hu."
"As much as I oppose kidnapping of children, I can't help but agree Dadi! "
"Main bacha nahi hu!!!!! "
"Haan, woh toh hame pata h. Galti hogayi maaf kardo. " Dada said as he made an exaggerated face making Virat giggle.
"Chalo since you and Virat made coffee, Sachin and I will make breakfast. " Dada said.
"We will? "
"You will? "
Sach pa and Jammy Bhai asked at the same time.
"Yes we will." Dada said glaring at Sach pa when he saw his bestie open his mouth to oppose.
"Yes of course we will." Sachin said with a cheeky smile while Jammy Bhai looked at them sceptically.
"Listen guys, I appreciate you guys stepping up and helping around here, but are you guys absolutely sure that you can do this? "
"Tum itna chinta kyu karte ho Jammy. And what do you mean by asking is if we are sure? Of course we are sure! Hamara toh retirement plan hi yahi hai - Mai are Dadi ek dhaba kholenge aur tu udhar ka manager hoga."
"Mai itni tension isliye leta hu kyunki you guys don't think about anything enough. Aur tum log sachi mein dhaba khologe? Tumhe pata hain na that the last time the two of you tried to cook together, you nearly burnt the whole kitchen down? And of course uss dhabe ka manager toh me hi hunga. Tum jangaliyon ke saath koi do minute bhi nahi tik paega. Waise yeh dhabe ka naam kya hoga? "
"Sachin and friends since forever. " Sach pa said proudly.
"Waah kya originality h Sach!" Jammy Bhaiyya said sarcastically, while clapping slowly.
"I know tujhe lagta nahi h but hu me bada smart and see today even you can't deny it. And thank you.... Bahut sochne ke baad voh naam mila h mujhe." Sachin said with a mock bow still not catching on to his friend's sarcasm. Jammy bhai just rolled his eyes at his bestie's antics but he could not suppresses a fond smile forming on his lips while Virat was trying 'unsuccessfully' to stifle his laughter.
"Ek second, dhabe ka naam Sachin and friends kyu h? Sourav and friends kyu nahi?" Dada asked frowning while their sane bestie face palmed.
"Woh isliye Dadi, kyunki woh naam mene banaya h. Aur jo tera hai woh mera h... Ek naam se kya farak padta hai? Haina Jammy? "
"Ha bhai woh toh sach bola tune. Mere ghar ke nameplate mein toh mera hi naam likha h lekin tum dono udhar sabse ajibo garib time me ghuske aajata ho jaise ki apna hi ghar ho. " Jammy Bhai said.
"Lekin I still don't understand why this idiot's name is on the display and not mine. " Dadi said pouting.
Jammy looked at both his besties exasperatedly. Just a few minutes ago, both were devastated that they had embarrassed themselves in front of a kid. Didn't they care about it anymore?
"Kyunki maine bola." Sachin said as he poked his tongue out at his bestie.
Apparently not, Jammy decided.
"Sourav and friends would sound better." Dadi said adamant.
"No it won't. Sachin and friends sounded much better. And stop copying my title you copy cat" Sach countered.
"I'm not a copy cat!"
"Yes you are."
"Am not."
"You are."
"Am not."
"You are."
"Oh my God! The two of you stop it! Virat, you tell which one sounds better." Jammy bhai said not able to believe that he was actually playing along.
"Say that mine is better Virat!" Sachin yelled.
"No don't listen to him. Say mine is better." Dada said.
Sachin was going to say something back but shut up seeing his only sane friend glare at him.
"Udhar chole bature milega kya?" virat asked after a pause.
"Ha ha, kyu nahi! " Dada said. Virat broke into a cute smile.
"Toh phir koi bhi naam chalega! Bas chole bature ache home chahiye! Garam garam! Mujhe ungli maarke khana bahut acha lagta h."
All the seniors there smiled fondly looking at the kid.
"Are chole bature se yaad aaya! Hame breakfast banana h. Tum logo ko bhuk nahi lagi kya?" Sach pa asked.
"Nahi pa -" Virat started to stay but his stomach started rumbling.
Jammy bhai laughed. "Ab jhut bolne ka koi fayda nahi Virat. Aur aap do mahashay, khana aaj milega?"
"Ha ha miljayega. Tu idhar se nikal aur hame concentrate karne de. Bichara bacha kab se bhooka h! " Dada said as he pushed Virat and Jammy Bhai out of the kitchen. Virat's protest of him not being a kid was royally ignored.
