It was movie night at Madeline's and everyone was so exited. They had been planning this for months; Movies all night long while they stuffed their faces with candy and chocolates.
It was gonna be a blast, they all just knew it.

Incoming call from Maddy👩❤️💋👩💋
"Heyy Maddy!"
"Hey Y/nn! You exited for tonight?!"
"Yess, very! We're gonna have such a blast! Is everyone still coming?"
"Yeah everyone except Becca. She had some family plans or something so she couldn't make it."
"Oh that's a bummer!"
"Yeah I was really hoping to see her. You exited to see Mase?"
"...uh..um..what?"
"Y/nn, you're my best friend. It's so obvious you like him."
"It is?"
"Well yeahh."
"To him?"
"No no definitely not. Boys are deathly blind, you could be dangling money in front of their eyes and they still wouldn't realize it was even there."
"Good point...well I gotta get going I have some things I have to do today. Just message me the snacks you want me to pick up."

The cast was now all together in Madeline's living room watching the first movie of the night; Sonic The Hedgehog, Tristan's pick.

The movie was finally over and Tristan was tearing up.
"Are you crying Tristan?" Y/n asked in absolute disbelief.
"No...I just have something in my eye." Tristan started sniffing.
"Me too." Brady sided wiping his eyes.
Madeline and Y/n looked at each other very confused.
"What was so emotional about that movie?" Madeline asked.
"It was just so good." Tristan defended with Brady shaking his head.
"You guys are a bunch of crybaby's." Miguel said messing with his eye.
"You too???" Y/n practically yelled utterly shocked at what there was to cry about.
"Something in my eye." Miguel tried playing.
"Ours too." Jacob added pointing to him and Mason's watery eyes.
"I'm so confused right now." Y/n admitted.
"Same here Y/nn." Maddy agreed.
"Alright well while you guys...do whatever this is, I'm gonna go pick out a movie to watch." Y/n said while she got up to pick a movie from Madeline's family collection.
"Yeah and while she does that I'm going to grab pillows and blankets, you guys go grab our snacks we all brought." Madeline told the boys.
After everyone came back Y/n held up her movie choice causing Tristan's eyes to widen.
"Hell no! I'm not watching a horror movie."
"I just sat through watching your movie Tristan I think you'll be okay for two hours."
"Ugh fine!"
Y/n puts the movie in and goes to sit down. Madeline was snuggling up to Jacob, Tristan was very close to Brady while under his blanket scared to death, and Miguel and Mason were in the middle a bit apart with their own blankets. Y/n decided she'd just sit in between the two pulling half of Masons blanket on her since Madeline only had 6 and there was 7 of them.
Mason looked up at Y/n and just smiled happily at her actions.
Masons POV
Y/n put in the movie we were watching and walked over to take a seat. She sat in between me and Miguel and pulled half of my blanket towards her scooting a bit closer to my side so it was evenly shared.
My cheeks began to warm up at her actions and all I could do was smile. My crush. Was sitting right beside me. Sharing a blanket. With me. My stomach filled with butterfly's.

About an hour into the movie it was getting honestly very scary for everyone, Tristan was practically on top of Brady while he bit his nails, Maddy and Jacob held each other, Miguel hugging his knees while he slowly ate his popcorn, and Mason and Y/n really nervous. Not about the movie per say more about being so close to each other.
The silence was so eerie. They all knew the jump scare was coming but the fact they weren't sure when made it even more seat rising.
Y/n grabbed Masons hand at a instinct. Mason always made her feel safe and grabbing his hand sent so much comfort to her.
Then the jump scare popped up absolutely frightening them all. Brady and Tristan screamed like girls hugging each other out of fear, Miguel chucking his pillow at the screen, Madeline and Jacob gripping each other tighter, and Mason wrapping his left arm around Y/n at natural protection instinct.
Y/n looked up at Mason as Mason slowly removed his left arm and smiled brightly at him. Mason smiled back as he squeezed Y/n's hand tighter not letting go.

It was now about 1 in the morning and the cast was now watching Grown Ups to prevent nightmares. More for Tristan's benefit.
Miguel was getting up to go to the restroom when he looked to his left just to see Y/n and Mason sound a sleep.
"I'm so getting a picture of this." Miguel laughed.
